On my first buy I travel aprox 600 miles and got to the copart office in New Orleans 3 minutes after closing time..but they considered myself and took my payment and did the paperwork so I get my vehicle and took it home. By the way it was on Friday. If they werent so understandable I would have to wait until Monday. Thank you so much. Very appreciated.

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to talk to India on Tuesday this week. She was so professional, and very polite. She listened to everything I said without interruption, which is seldom found these days, in our hurry up world. Then she chuckled and said wow, thats a lot, which made me laugh, too. She was able to assist me on 1 call and I believe the assistance she provided is going to help me resolve my issue before the end of this week. Honestly, I thought she was in a lead position because she was so professional, had great customer service skills, and I could tell she knew what she was doing! Give that lady well deserved koodos! Maybe even buy her lunch.

My insurance used Copart when they decided my car was totaled after an accident.Copart called me and asked when they could pick up the car and gave me a 4 hour window.The day before they were supposed to pick it up, I got a call from someone trying to get the vehicle. I said the pick up was scheduled for Wednesday between 1-5 PM, and they hung up.The morning of (at 7:30 AM) I got another call asking to pick it up. I repeated that it was scheduled to be picked up between 1-5 PM, and that I was currently at work. I said I needed to give them the key so they would have to come during the scheduled time frame so I would be home.They decided to pick it up anyways as when I got home at 12:45 PM, the car was gone. I called the office and explained the situation. They confirmed that it was picked up and called me back to say I would have to drop off or mail the key.Now I have to go out of my way to get the key there so insurance can process my claim. There is no reason I should have to waste my time and energy on this when Copart scheduled the time.The person who decided to tow my vehicle after speaking to me is completely unprofessional, and Copart did nothing to rectify the situation. They took the car without my consent.The only positive was the person I spoke to on the phone afterwards. They were understanding and called me back promptly, but unfortunately couldn’t help me.

Hi Everyone,Weve been purchasing vehicles for our Small IT Company here in the Phoenix area for over a year now. Ive purchased mainly in Phoenix and Tucson Copart. One Day a buddy introduced me to CoPart since I mostly have used IAA in the past. I truly like the online process of CoPart vs IAA.Purchased a 2010 VW Jetta Diesel with a Bad Transmission from Copart, New Orleans back in May of this year. It took us several months to locate a Transmission for this vehicle since its a Diesel and uses a different transmission than its Gas Model.Fast Forward to earlier this month when we finished repairing the vehicle, passed emissions and now ready for Registration and Title.AZ DMV wouldnt accept the Louisiana Title because Copart didnt take the Title into their name and then sell to our AZ Company. When I reached out for help, Emily Forbes was non-helpful, combative and truly didnt care - just kept saying CoPart did nothing wrong in selling the vehicle to you. Once I realized that Emily wasnt helping, I began copying Bobby Ashford, the General Manager of yard #79.Bobby Ashford in the beginning wasnt very helpful, even replied with this You do realize Copart is a dealer as well. We have a whole dealer lic. That would be just like the title is now. I will have to dig into to this. All throughout the many emails I sent to Emily and Bobby, I also copied the Regional Manager, Timothy Smith - Not once did Timothy even reply to my emails.In the end, Bobby Ashford, the GM, contacted the Phoenix Yards GM, Johnathan Black. Johnathan was extremely helpful and even identified where the issue was with the Louisiana Title. The very next day I drop off the title to the title Clerk at the Phoenix yard. She knew the situation and said she would get this resolved - Give me a call in the Morning. Valerie called me in the Morning to let me know my AZ Title for the 2010 VW Jetta was ready for pickup. Took the Title directly to DMV and now I have an AZ Title and Registration in my name.Im rating Copart a 1 because instead of trying to be helpful, attentive and caring, Emily was unprofessional, refused to help me resolve the Title issue, instead just blew me off saying that Louisiana Sold the Vehicle correctly according to Louisiana Title Law - How does that help me in Arizona?Thinking about Shopping at CoPart - I would check out IAA First, Ive purchased many cars from IAA all across this country. IAA seems to genuinely care about its members, unlike CoPart. IAA offers Service after the Sale whereas CoPart, doesnt care, unwilling to help - only helped after I copied our Attorney, who happens to Practice in Louisiana, Arizona and Nevada.If CoPart Values their Members, why did they treat me so poorly - Im a Member too? In the future Take care of your members - Each and Everyone of them because they pay a yearly membership fee to be a customer of yours - Treat them Better. I know you can do better than this. Too much time wasted downloading apps just to get your car

Was looking for a donor car and trucks but I changed my mind.

This is an auto auction location. They had a few car carriers loading out damaged cars. Some could be fixed fairly easily.

All was as expected. The ladies were very busy. Efficient, pleasant, well informed. New what they were doing! Jennifer was great!!!

This place moves at a snail pace!No public restroom! If you gonna take a couple hrs to give out paper work, at least have a restroom for customers!

Ive gotten a couple bad deals. The pictures always look better than in person. They are some lemons being injected into any auction. Thats to be expected. Definitely go check out in person before buying.

Website allowed me to purchase vehicle transport services as part of the payment options deliver to Baton Rouge. After receiving payment for vehicles and transportation fee, got a call to say that they dont deliver to Baton Rouge. They gave me the number to someone who would transport the vehicles from NO to BR, but I would have to pay them as well.Would feel better about it but theyre holding the money and giving me a credit instead of cutting a check, and the $209 per vehicle I payed them became $150 per vehicle credit because theres a 3rd party gate fee of $59 per vehicle if you use a non-Copart transporter or whatever. Yes, I understand this is a company policy, so any other location would have done the same thing. Im just writing this so newbies like myself dont get surprised when something on Coparts end fails and you find yourself out of pocket more money than expected.

Customer service is a joke. Totally clueless, and absolutely no help. I purchased shipping through Copart yet the facility where I purchased shipping has no clue when vehicle will ship, and no way to find out. I was told this all goes through corporate. I was then given corporates number & without a name you cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Customer service person was Jennifer date 4/18/19. When asked if I could get a refund for shipping and just pay a 3rd party company again customer service has no clue. For such a big company customer service is terrible.

This facility is the worst out of all of the ones I have been too. CarS are miss classified, so I recommend inspecting and not going by what they say on the website AT ALL. Last two cars where way off from what they said, that I got from here. One was said to be run and drive. The guy drives it with a knocking motor ruining it even more and lessening the value of my investment. Second was on engine start program and I get it back to the mechanic and he says the engine is toast and only runs because 3 of the 8 cylinders happen to be good. BEWARE!!!!

Due to the rains in Texas and the surroundings of Louisiana I havent been able to schedule a shipping for the motorcycle that I bought because drivers have been avoiding the south areas. I gently asked if I could not get charged for the next days until tuesday because they will be close Saturday, Sunday and Monday (vacation day) so there is no way that I will be able to get the motorcycle if they are closed but instead of been nice and helping me out they were rude and they just wanted my money. They deserve a bad review and I feel sad they have no empathy for what is going on with Texas floodings.

Staff inside is very slow. Erma is very rude . They need to fire everyone and start over

Ive bought many cars from Copart and this one single time I tried out there delivering service, it was a disaster. Their website states a vehicle will be departed to you within 24-48 HOURS after you purchased the car. After the 48 hours I called in concern and told me to call the tow truck company that they sublease the delivery’s to. So I called them and they said we have no part of it please call back Copart. After 5 days the car has finally delivered. If you need a car from here and need it towed DO NOT GO THROUGH COPART DELIVERY!!! It will be the biggest disaster and waste of money

Was easy to find

Bought a car from here with Minor dents and scratches description, went out there to check out, noticed a cracked radiator, wasnt a big deal, still bought it. Came out to be a head gasket problem which was a major mechanical problem. So never trust the description.

Racist wont load cars even though they charge every buyer 59.00 car rather they load it or not. Transoprts, buyers, beware they wont load your cars. I would do business with Iaa theres never an issue there when it comes to loading.
