C. Bel did a wonderful job helping us to create a beautiful outdoor living space with retractable screens. These are approximately 8 ft tall by 8-9 feet wide. All sections are fully retractable and afford us the ability to have an open air experience, or to reduce bugs by closing them. These were one of the best investments we made to our home. We love it! We use our porch year round now (except when its too cold!). Thank you for the very professional crew that took great care to make sure that all of the seams were snug and that the electrical mechanisms work.

Horrible, horrible experience. Not only did they take double the time they said to make my sails, and never return my calls (I had to call them repeatedly), but when they finally came to do the install, it took multiple trips. The first time, they installed the sails upside down. The second time, they installed one of the brackets wrong and it tore up my entire overhang because they did not install it in the wood rafter. Given that we have a hot tub directly underneath, this could have caused a serious injury had it snapped when someone was in the tub. They ultimately came back and fixed the damage, but then re-installed the bracket wrong again ! The sails have now been hanging on just 2 brackets since October 26 and I have more holes in my overhang. I suggested that they just add another post to that corner, which they agreed was the solution and they agreed to do it at no additional cost to me. But, I am still waiting for that to happen and they still have not given me a date for when they will repair the additional damage to my home. I have received every excuse - from one of their employees being out for surgery, another being out for a colonoscopy, one with his wife in the hospital, the ground being damp from the 10 minutes of rain we got, the post inadvertently not being ordered, etc. You cant make this stuff up ! I am in the process of getting an estimate from another company to finish the job. Not sure how this company stays in business if they treat all customers like they have treated my husband and I. We were planning a backyard gathering with friends since this was the last item we needed for our yard renovations but have had to put it off repeatedly and now the weather is cold.

This is a great company. I have had 2 boat covers made and what a great group of people to do business with. Its the personal touch that is hard to find in businesses these days. If you want to get a great product and deal with some good people go to C-Bel.

Ive used C. Bel for a few small jobs at my home over the last several years, and theyve always treated me with professionalism, courtesy, and promptness. I was impressed that they treated me with the same appreciation that they likely do with larger jobs, and the quality of their work is excellent. Very responsive. Id recommend them to anyone and would use them again without hesitation. Great outfit.

11 weeks to receive the wrong awning (on an 8 week contract no less) and now they refuse to come get it and give me my money back. I cent even use the one they installed. Once they received my deposit after I waited a month for the contract (and had to contact them to get it) I emailed them twice to get a status only to learn they hadnt even ordered it after 8 weeks! Seems the company changed hands and it is no longer the C. Bel of the past. Do NOT do business with them. There are better companies out there that can get the exact same Sunbrella product at a better price AND in a timely fashion. If I could select a 0 star rating I would have

C. Bel Awnings did a fantastic job on replacing my awning (canopy only). Came out, measured, then installed a week or so latter. Very pleased with the quality as its been a year and it still looks brand new in New Orleans.

Will not Return phone calls tried to buy 4 Window Awnings and have large one recovered Called in twice gave them info they stated they would call back both times Guess the do not need any work or not providing service. Do Not Waste your time calling this place the will not call you back.

C Bel Awnings did an excellent job on replacement of my retractable awning. They had a wide variety of colors and types to chose from. They put an estimate together the next day and promised a 3 week turnaround. It was much faster. The installation crew arrived late but called to keep me informed. They spent several hours and reviewed the operation with me. They adjusted the existing hardware and made sure it was fully operational. They billed me the remaining cost in 3 days. The office staff kept in contact with me after to make sure everything was okay.i would highly recommend them for all awnings installations and repairs

Had the front entry awning installed several years ago and it still looks new. The measuring, selection, and installation process was seamless. Highly recommend.

When requesting a repair or improvement over their design, fabrication, workmanship and/or installation, make sure you get a preliminary detailed work order and cost before allowing them to proceed with your awning repair. My dispute on quality and charges on a non-itemized invoice was met with a discourteous and obstinate management. A third repair effort via better qualified field personnel to resolve the issue, achieved my final satisfaction.This group does not appear to be the quality organization that it once was.

Was very excited to be working with C Bel for Awnings again. They initially installed my awnings years before, but got blown away for Hurricane Katrina. We finally had them reinstalled and added them to additional places on our home. They look absolutely awesome! Could not be happier. I would go to them again if they needed future replacement.Thanks C. Bel!

I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but this time I have no choice. Earlier in the year I called a local awning company (that apparently went out of business) and was connected to C. Bel. The salesman came out and I explained to him my needs. He stated he would bring my request back to the shop and I would soon get an email with the quote. I waited a week or two then called the salesman and he said he would check on it and I should be getting one soon. I never received a quote. Sometime during the summer right I received a computer generated referral request from C. Bel so I called them. I spoke to an owner to discuss why was I getting referral requests when I could not even get a quote from them. She assured me that this was a mistake.....I agreed to give them another chance. The initial salesman called and I once again told him what I wanted. He also assured me that he would get the ball rolling and a quote would be forthcoming....it has been over a month and no quote has been received by me. Today I received a computer generated email from C. Bel asking that I Review us on Google.

Tom Ponthieux of C Bel for Awnings, Inc. gave me great advice on the proper material to use for my unusual project. Tom took time to understand the unusual requirements for my project, helped me calculate material quantities and manufactured a one-off model which C. Bel Awnings gave to me for testing. You could not ask for better service!

I purchased my first awning from C. Bel back around 1992. A senior lady family member of the owners, I assume, came out to provide the quote. She was great, the awning survived Katrina and is still in place today.For the last 3 years Jay Bonck has been my problem solver (salesman) and he is the best. C. Bel recently completed a very large and very difficult job for our church. We have multiple awnings with compound angles, S-curves and elevations. They were an absolute joy to work with! They always showed up exactly when they said and completed the job exactly how we agreed upon. All the guys were always kind and professional. They kept communications open and did walk throughs with me after completing each section. It seems like a simple thing for a company to do what they say they are going to do and do it professionally, but unfortunately that seems to be a rare quality in most companies these days! C. Bel exemplified that quality perfectly!

This company is very professional, the installer did a good job, During the hurricane, I was able to take down my awning and my husband was able to re-string it back. I would use them again for another project.

I had used C Bel in the past and been very happy with my cloth awnings. After a renovation I needed a metal awning, after talking to another company, Jay Bonck with C Bel came to give an estimate.It was immediately apparent that Jays expertise was essential to getting what I needed. With an awning it needs to look good, but it also has to function well. Jay pointed out important things for me to consider and suggested a dimension for my awning which was different than what I had been quoted and he was correct.I would give a 5 star rating except for difficulties I had with the office staff. You can tell a good company by the way they respond when there is a problem. When I turned to Jay for help he was so responsive, took charge and had my problem corrected and my awning installed rapidly. The installation crew was terrific, stopping their work to ask for my house paint, to paint an area where an outlet had been removed by another contractor. They knew that left unpainted it would be unattractive and difficult to get to once the awning was installed. Staff was courteous to deal with and handled business in a professional manner. One of the sails came loose in the first week and they came out promptly and replace all the hardware on the sails.
