I speak for their online shop and follow their Instagram. I bought two of their adorable mugs, and I bought the sample pack of their coffees. I love them all, but I would highly recommend their “Gallop” blend (my favorite). Their customer service is very nice too-I love their Instagram posts, and I can’t wait to visit them in NOLA in person when I get the chance! I can’t recommend highly enough! AWESOME for both gifting and keeping coffees for yourself! It was totally worth the chance!

Before the pandemic, Id come here a lot to do some work and read. The staff is super friendly and one even lured a wasp away from me. She really didnt have to do that but I appreciate it. She was so brave 😭😭😭. The whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Also, the coffee and pastries are good too! I hope one day soon theyd do dine in again but people still acting like theres no pandemic going on. So for now I wait. But its great that they are still socially distancing and being considerate of other peoples health!

With Pop Up breakfast on weekend mornings, Congregation has become our go-to for starting our day and getting some fresh air. Their coffee is, of course, amazing as always. The baristas are all sweethearts and we love greeting them every time we see them. Obviously, I’m a bit head over heels for this place, but I’m happy we have a great community-friendly coffee place nearby, most especially during this tough year.

Had great coffees and muffin upo arriving at historic Algiers Point that is celebrating its 300th anniversary. The staff was cordial and gave us some tips as a route for our walk needed some expert guidance. They are a coffee roaster also so their beverages were outstanding. Reasonably priced and we enjoyed the sun at their outdoor seating.

Awesome coffee. Super kid friendly! Stumbled across this place visiting Algiers Point. One of the best cold brews Ive had. The staff was very friendly and and knowledgeable. Had a delicious bowl of rice pudding. Everything was prepared with care. The most kid friendly coffee shop weve ever seen. Bathroom has a stool for kids to reach the sink, special toilet seat for kids, changing table, and even diapers! Up front, toys and a chalkboard kept our kids entertained while we enjoyed our coffee. I would take the ferry from downtown New Orleans just to visit this coffee shop again!

Came by one day when it was still under construction. Met the owner Elliott, stand up guy that hooked us up with some of the best cold brew Ive ever had. He let us try some of his freshly roasted beans, they rocked!! If you go here and dont give it 5 stars, go back to starbucks and sip that burnt swill covered in caramel, hopefully while you rethink your life choices:)

This spot is phenomenal💯The staff is super helpful and really chill. The environment is light and fun with a touch of modern in a historic building. The logo is dope and shirts are only $16! Prices are normal, not expensive *they told me they can offer MILITARY DISCOUNT* Quality of the coffee is topnotch, especially because they roast their own beans inside. Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon this place on our way to Confetti Park. It is a perfect stop for our family. The washroom is outfitted with a change table, spare diapers if needed, a small toilet seat perfect for my toddler and a step stool for washing our hands. Also a chalk board that probably could have kept him entertainmented for at least 15-30 minutes. Not to mention the Blueberry Thrill that we ordered is deliciously refreshing.

Stopped in after hiking at Jean Lafitte before headed back to the north shore. There was plenty of street parking, even on a Saturday afternoon. The neighborhood seemed lovely and safe. The shop itself is modern, spacious, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chai was spicy and the gruyere baguette was perfect. Such a lovely respite from the rain. Worth noting- their music choice was a wonderful surprise. I cant wait to go back!

Congregation is a third wave neighborhood coffeehouse that offers a laid-back atmosphere that is NOT snobbish or hipster overkill. Its a perfect place to study or enjoy a break from the everyday noise of the city. Their beans are roasted in-house, creating what I believe is THE best coffee in the city (French Truck is a close second). Their breakfast menu is VERY limited, but what they do, they do VERY well. Their grits with bacon fat and pickled greens are worth driving across town for.Whether youre a local or visiting the city, skip the chains. Dont miss this place if you like real coffee. Stay a while or take your coffee with you on a short walk to the river.PARENTS: Their unisex bathroom not only furnished with a full changing table, they actually provide diapers. Thats a rare find.

Ive never been disappointed with the coffee here. Iced, hot, cafe au lait. Some history on the building: It used to be the Pelican grocery many many years ago, then sat vacant. A few people attempted to operate businesses here, but the coffee shop seems to be the only successful one post pelican grocery. Why? A coffee shop is great for this location, and the coffee is down right excellent.

Review №70

Edit: This issue has been resolved and Im moving them up to 5 stars.Their coffee is awesome and their baristas are on point. My only complaint (and it’s rather large) is that they clean the espresso machine about an hour before they close. This has happened to me a few times so I know to expect it now. If it’s after 4 and you want an espresso drink you’ll have to go somewhere else. Wish they’d stay “fully open” for their posted hours, thus the 4 stars.

Ca
Review №71

You can tell the baristas really care about the drinks theyre making, at least in my experience. It took like almost 10 min to have 2 lattes made. But It was totally worth it, they were easily the best lattes Ive ever had. The foam art was also lovely.Inside, its your typical coffee shop, helping to gentrify the Algiers Point neighborhood. There are records + a record player, t-shirts + coffee you can buy, and that general laid back hipster atmosphere.Overall, tasty lattes. Ill return.

While visiting family in Algiers point, we noticed this shop getting ready to open and I made a mental note to return. Next time we made a trip, they were closed. Again I made a mental note. Today my schedule allowed me to stop by with my young son. The cappuccino was excellent. Im not saying, Oh I like Starbucks, and this seemed similar excellent... I mean, Ive made a point to visit famous coffee houses on business trips, like Intelligensia in Chicago, and Im often disappointed because I can make as good or better espresso at home.Id say its the best cappuccino Ive ever had, but its not. The best cappuccino I ever had was in Spain. My wife says I sound like a snob saying this, but Im sure the owners will appreciate the compliment. Im never going back to Spain. This cappuccino is definitely 2nd best. However, I may have gotten them on a bad day, and I wouldnt be surprised if next time Im in, the 1st place memory is ousted.Besides from the excellent coffee, one of the four owners was gracious enough to show my son the roasting machine. Almost all of it was above my kids head, but he LOVED being allowed to press buttons on a huge machine. This is obviously their passion. It really made our day. Well be back soon. Thank you!
