This place is very great! I love the comics and I got spider man miles morales comic from it!

Ive always enjoyed quality service here. The staff even helped me set up a mailing list when I had to move out of town so that I can keep up with my pulls. And they reached out to me, unprompted, to check in on me after Ida. I couldnt ask for a better store.

This place is awesome!! Great selection of new comic books every week!! If your looking for older comic books, ask the super friendly staff if they have what you are looking for. Staff is very nice and will answer any and all questions you may have.

Cant say how many times Ive driven past not realizing this comic book store was here. Stopped in today so my kiddo can get Manga to add to her collection, and ended up walking out with an old Uncanny X-Men that I used to read as kid and couldnt find anywhere else. This store is definitely a gem. The employees are very nice and friendly. We will be back, for sure.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Found books wed been looking for over a year. Great selection of classic and contemporary comics. Kid friendly, but also rewarding for seasoned collectors.

Came here after going to their smaller location. The difference in inventory was staggering. My only gripe would be that the manga collection was limited, but it was more than made up for with nearly a wing of graphic novels. Of the comic book stores in NOLA Ive visited this is the best one, also was able to get pretty good prices on some nice bronze age comic books.

My husband isnt a complainer, but when he does have something to say, he says a LOT. He was probably ranting for 15 minutes about all the things comic book shops get wrong that prevent them from being, in his opinion, awesome. So, understandably, I was biting my nails a bit on the drive here hoping this one would live up to his standards. Hes always looking for really specific stuff and knows what he wants, so once we got here, we parted ways and I got lost in the graphic novel memoirs for a while (for that selection alone, I give this place five stars). Anyway, about an hour and a half later we finally reunited and he had a ton of stuff he was so excited about finding, and was even chatting it up with the workers while they were getting ready to close the store. I dont think either of us have ever been to a cooler comic shop, and thats saying a lot since we usually hit 2 or 3 whenever we go on vacation. He had nothing but great things to say about the store and misses it already. Thank you for such a great experience and for having so much unique material for people of all ages and interests!

Seeing such and awesome collection and feeling like im close to home even when im 1000 miles away was amazing will definitely return on my next vacation

Awesome store!!! A lot of comics and merchandise very friendly staff. My only draw back is that i seen a regular price variant in the new comic section selling for 5 dollars. Im almost positive it wasnt an incentive and if it was they have 5 stars from me. I dont believe it was since there were only 3 incentives for this book and it wasnt one. But anyways other than that freaking awesome store ill visit it anytime Im in the city.

Ive visited this store twice in as many years and its everything I want in a comic shop. I love small press comics and books and they have a wonderful selection of indie books as well incredibly thoughtful recommendations from a very friendly staff. Go here. Honestly this is the best place in the city to buy comics. The staff is pretty friendly in the selection is quite large. I never have a problem finding what Im looking for. They also have local comics for new aspiring writers.

What I love most though is that they do a great job of keeping back issues, which is great for me cause ill miss several releases in a row, and then set out to buy them at once, and Im certain that in the many times Ive visited these guys, theyve never failed to fave what I wanted.P.S. - Whoever has control of the music that plays in the background, good taste.

There are a handful of good comic shops in the Greater New Orleans area. CCCs two locations are the only good stores in New Orleans itself. The Calhoun location is the newer and better shop. It has a wider selection.

Theyre full of todays hottest comics, manga, trades and all sorts of Pop Culture items. Its fun for Old and young kids.

This is my favorite comic book store in town. The staff and owner are super-helpful and knowledgeable.The store is very well organized and easy to navigate. Selections are grouped by genre, including several shelves for staff picks. Good variety of trades as well as single issues.There are also a few T-shirts and other collectibles throughout the store, but the main focus is on the books.They sometimes host parties featuring notable artists and writers, so it would be a good idea to get on their mailing list for updates.

The store has a pretty large selection of new releases, including indies I dont see in stores around the metro area. They turned out to be a helpful bunch when trying to locate back issues of an older series, though you can probably find more current market priced books online. Im interested in seeing what the layouts like in a few months so I may stop by again when in town.

Great selection of new and old at vastly superior prices. They very regularly get in lots of new back issues. The labeling on their comics is very informative as to condition, first appearances, etc. I primarily shop for back issues but they have tons of graphic novels, statues, figures, games, new releases, and tons of misc. stuff. They also regularly have amazing sales going on. Ive checked out other places around town and Crescent City Comics prices are on average half of what other places are charging in addition to easily being the cleanest and most organized store. Everyone there is super nice and knowledgeable. They will even keep an eye out for issues you are looking for. They knew I was looking for the Punisher mini series and as soon as I walked in they grabbed the whole set for me they had just gotten in hours before. They set the standard for how a comic shop should be run and the bar is set very high here.

Came here to find a birthday present for my husband. I was impressed with the selection and the knowledge of the staff. Had a really fun conversation about Nightwing with the super friendly dude behind the counter.All in all it is a good destination for any comic lover.

When people say local comic book shop, you get an idea of a cool and cozy shop stocked with vintage and new comics with that old comic book paper smell when you open the door. Crescent City Comics is by far the best place to go to get your comic fix. They have an awesome backissue long box stock perfectly organized or if you want something in particular just ask someone and they will go pull out the backroom for you. The staff are always helpful and greet you everytime and the owner is just as cool and eager to help and will answer any questions, or just chat it up for fun. I recommend this place to everyone I know who enjoys browsing for old gems or to anyone just getting into comics. Crescent City is incredible and the name sounds like a city in comics.

They have full series and/or consecutive issue runs in bags at reasonable prices, so you dont have to dig through the back issues. They also have a box dedicated to Transformers comics and trades. There are tons of other things, too.

Its a comic shop. Very large selection if you need to pick something up asap but the prices are really high I know that they are msrp but when you can get all absolute edition on Amazon for sometimes $40 or $50 less why spend the extra money. Again not saying its a bad place but sadly the prices are not competitive.

As a kid I used to go to this comic shop when it was on Elysian Fields ave. When I found out that they reopened after Katrina I knew I had to continue to support them. Great staff and the owner still remembered me from when I was a kid. Every comic you can think of and tons of graphic novels t-shirts and collectibles.

Its a nice little shop. Great selection of new releases, back issues, trades, and collectables. Parking is iffy and the road to get to the store is EXTREMELY bumpy, but I would shop here again if I was in town.

This is the best place to get your comics and other gaming supplies! They have a wide selection of dice for RP and have all kinds of neat stickers and keychains. Sometimes they even have parties with free drinks! I love CCC!
