I mean, it is what it is. It’s just the Dollar General. During my visit, it was busy and the line was long but we don’t have rows of DGs down the street like Houston does, so it’s expected. Anywho, I got this bikini line trimmer from there and y’all it works so good! I forgot how much I paid for it but man it is definitely worth it. It also has a guard for the larger side! 2 Triple A batteries are needed

I only shop at the Claiborne store because its near my home, but I will be going to Family Dollar from here on. I went into the store and as Im walking up to check out the Cashier, with a red wig on, said she wont check me out. Now I Never met her before so I wasnt sure why. I had my children with me. The Manager walked over and checked me out, but he did not even say nothing to her about her Not ringing me up. No name tags, so I cannot even give a name. The second time a Dollar general employee did that to me within 1 month, in front of my Children!!! Im aware that the store is in a Urban area, but it need to be some type of Professionalism on these Jobs. I can Manage better then the guy did, he basically walked off not even apologizing. Stores differ for each location. The Earhart store is CLEAN and well stocked. The Claiborne location was closed last week.

It was awful. Boxes blocked almost every isle, the store was dirty, and one of the employees was listening to music so loud you can hear the cursing in the lyrics. Nothing is organized, I will not be returning to that store.

Stocked well. One cashier was wearing mask as a chim strap and the other had it under her nose. Clean though. Long line since one cashier waited until people started to complain to open.

The Dollar General !! My experience, are whats on my mind ¿ Who came up with the idea to use dollar as part of a name for a business. I think he was quite clever. Putting the vision in our mind that its an inexpensive store. Well most of the items purchase to this point there by us really doesnt get used, dont need it, are breaks easily because of the inferior construction.Just like throwing away money. Yes and we go back believing were getting a bargain, thinking were going to walk away cheap. The fact is we end up walking out with $80 to $100 worth of basically things you dont need. But because of the inferior construction these items can be sold at a cheap price making us believe we are getting a bargain. And we do it time and time again. So what I think about my experience with Dollar General ¿ Go buy stock in the damn place.

Walked in as cashier screams I need the key. As I walked through the store I heard that same scream.... What the hell? I echoed the same. Didnt hear another scream. Store stock was all over the floor it appeared as if they were resetting the entire store. I certainly hope so.

Nice and cheap. No bleach atm and is a little dirty, but the people are very friendly ( especially my cashier).

A bit crowded and overstocked, best to shop with DG app on phone. Prices arent always as marked. Many sales werent listed so lower price at register was a pleasant surprise.

The store was in shambles and there were isles that were impassable, most of the things I was looking at did not have prices under them. I would have given the store only one store had it not been for Nadia, the woman who checked me out. Nadia was helpful, kind, and polite. Not only to me but to other customers coming and going!

Before you even get in, there are beggars harassing you for money. The store is dirty and disorganized. The floor isn’t even flat. It’s like an earthquake just occurred. Some of the merchandise is open with stuff missing. Some of the employees are loud and angry. People walk in there dressing like clothes just got invented yesterday. Not sure how a store like this survives. I wouldn’t have been surprised if I got shot by one of the beggars.

Terrible! My phone was not working for me to contact their corporate office. I stop in many Dollar General stores for various items to avoid larger crowds from time to time. This store is by far the worst of them all! I had two employees walk past me while I was on a step ladder to get merchandise from top stock because nothing had been down stocked and placed on the shelves for easy access. When I got to the register, the cashier was texting and seemed bothered by me interrupting her to check out. She then began cursing at the manager on duty because another employee who arrived at the same time as her and apparently is the niece of the store manager, took a 15min break too soon. No greeting, no thank you. The store is poorly kept and can definitely use some positive reinforcement.

This store (So. Claiborne & Toledano) is NEVER fully stocked, boxes are constantly in the middle of the floor and you cant get to items. Store is ALWAYS a mess! Usually one register open, no help on the floor, workers are always hiding and the Manager is Lazy!!

Rude. Unprofessional. Clueless. Not even the store manager seemed familiar with his own stores product, or procedures. He didnt even seem concerned that his clueless worker was, blowing it, right at the front register.

The pet food prices are the cheapest that I can find.

It is a good place to stop and get the thing you need for everyday lives and living for the household.

The staff are lazy, rude, cant be bothered to oh I dunno HELP CUSTOMERS or when standing around gossiping clean up the dump of a store. Just walked in and theres 3 employees standing doing nothing while one person checking out customers line 10 deep of people thats USUAL for here. The spilled glue or whatever up and down the isles while employees standing around was new the oh well attitudes. Shelves rarely stocked if they are the ads do not match the products more than half the time.

This is the dirtiest, most disorganized, understaffed Dollar General I have EVER shopped in! And it is quite evident that most of the employees, ESPECIALLY MANAGEMENT, were never trained on Customer Service skills. I would love to keep my dollars in my community....but this store is unacceptable.

Quick and easy

The customer service was horrible. When I asked for assistance I was rudely told that the item was down there, when asked down where, on the left or right side she just repeated herself and pointed down the isle never once did she attempt to show me where it was and the store was in total disarray!

The manager is very rude and disrespectful to his employees as well as his customers. Im a regular customer and I have to say that this manager is always unhappy he has a perpetual frown on his face.I hate going in there but its the lesser of two evils meaning I live closer to Dollar General and I dont have a vehicle also I totally detest Family Dollar so for the time being I suject myself to his yelling and his being a total jerk but I can assure you it wont last long because who wants to walk into a place spend their money and walk out stressed certainly not me.

Not enough cashier, store is dirty. Cashier at the of the stocking merchandise and hollering at the cashier thats trying to get customers out. She should have came up front to help get the lines down. Theres never enough of cashier in any of the stores.
