During our kitchen remodel, my wife and I stopped into no less than 15 stone companies looking for stone to replace kitchen counters for a remodel. Our search started in Prairieville, where we live, and ended months later at Tuscan Stone Imports in New Orleans. During our search we realized natural stone was our taste, and more specifically White Carrara Marble. Other things which were realized are most sales “girls” have little or no knowledge of the products they are trying to sell, nor the options which may be available as alternatives, nor when new products may be arriving. All the price guessing, “I don’t know”, and “This is all we have” disappeared the moment we met Keven at Tuscan Stone Imports. Aside from the knowledge and professionalism which sets them apart, the quality of the stone in stock is hands-down better then anyone in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans metro areas. You can find Shadow Storm Marble, or Bianco Superiore Quartzite nearly anywhere, but the stone’s pattern and consistent color throughout are what you really want, and that’s what Tuscan Stone Imports has…beautifully patterned consistent color stone. The White Carrara Marble from Tuscan was by far the whitest we saw, and the gray marbling was consistent across two very large slabs with hints of gold and translucent throughout.
