The staff at Cycle Gear NOLA are so very helpful and friendly. I was getting gear because I’ll be a new rider and Mr. Lewis was so very helpful and patient. He told me about the different kinds of helmets and how they should fit, answered all my questions and gave me lots of tips and pointers. This shop has the best selection of gear and accessories for women riders than all the city! I have found my new favorite shop and will absolutely be back!!

Mr. Lewis was super helpful. I think I was in the store for all of five minutes. I walked in and told him I was looking for some gloves for a 2 kids who rides 4 wheelers and the next thing you know I was walking out with mesh body armor! I didn’t feel rushed at all and any questions I asked, he was knowledgeable. Definitely will be back!

First I want to start with costumer service is very great I have not received any attitude or aggression with the ppl who work there I feel like the prices is very affordable very clean an detailed store an I shop there regularly for accessories oh an my boy O.G. with the Harley Davidson bike who work there that’s my boy he welcome me with open arms every time I’m there even when the store is not busy while I shop he tells me his bike ride stories an experiences he had in his lifetime very good dude reminds me of my grandfather but this is my review thumbs up keep up with the good work.

I had a great experience at this location, 4/20/2021, while shopping for my first motorcycle helmet. The staff (an older and younger guy, wish Id asked for their names) were very helpful and informative. They answered all of my questions and provided me with all of the information I needed to make a good decision, including suggestions I hadnt considered, without being pushy. I will definitely be returning to this location for future purchases.

This store is awesome! The staff is great and really know their stuff. The manager Joe is super helpful and the store is full of tones of great gear!

The staff is very friendly and are more than happy to assist with any questions. This is one of my favorite places to shop for gear, so many options, and the prices are more than reasonable. Also, if you cant find what you need, they can order it for you and have it delivered straight to your home.

I purchased front and rear tires for a Triumph Bonneville through two online vendors and tubes from Cycle Gear. I took the wheels to Cycle Gear for mounting expecting to have to leave them. Instead they immediately went to work and had me out the door in about 45 minutes. I’m very satisfied.

Wish they supplied more variety and stock. No parts sold here except for apparel. Instead of cycle gear it should be called cycle apparel. No bike services and very inconvenient store hours.

Always in and out for motorcycle related gear. Salesman are helpful and NOT pushy. Very personable crew over there 👍

Extremely helpful and patient for a new rider looking to buy a helmet for the MSF. They were more concerned with educating and helping me select the best fit than trying to sell the priciest or most gear. The three guys there all recommended I buy only the helmet now and return later for the rest, so I could use the MSF discount.

Finally a CycleGear in New Orleans. Employees are nice and helpful. Good place to pick up some gear.

Quick and professional.

I’ve been a loyal customer to the Cycle Gear brand. Spent close to 1000$ over just a couple of years. Went to the NOLA shop. Rode my bike and looking to check out headsets. I had my helmet and backpack with me. Instead of just asking if I would leave my backpack at the counter I was treated rudely and was pretty much targeted as a potential shoplifter. I have no problem if that’s their policy, but it’s not posted that I saw and two employees had an opportunity to ask me to leave my pack at the counter especially since they told me where I could put my helmet. It finally came down to who I assume was the manager, to not ask me but to rudely suggest I leave my pack at the counter. I won’t be shopping there again. Motorcycle gear is cheaper online from other vendors and Amazon/eBay.

Im conflicted. I bought a helmet here, no big savings or anything, average price. They have a nice selection of apparel and gear, tires etc and it looks well organized. Its nice to be able to see a spot where you can physically lay hands on gear that you might want rather than having to buy online sight unseen. Both salespeople were friendly but the guy I was dealing with seemed like he was rushing me along. I made my helmet selection and just wanted to browse around because there was so much to take in. I tried on some riding jeans but the fit was not correct for my short self and he seemed to take it personally when I passed on them. Im sure he thought he was doing his job and being helpful but I dont like being followed around when I just wanted to look. I probably would have bought some more items but I ended up just paying for the helmet and leaving. I kinda wish I had been dealing with the other salesperson. Im sure Ill return in the future but my initial visit put me off.

We went to Cycle Gear to buy a tire for a friend, the staff was rude and lacking in knowledge when it came to tires anyway. Found the tire we needed, it was a tube tire WAY over priced. They were the only place in town on a Saturday to buy one. The tub tire we purchased didnt come with a liner, nor did it come with a tube. The entire tire with the purchase of a tube was over $300.00 for a brand tire we never heard of and we changed it ourselves. (They dont change tires there, besides we couldnt afford it after paying over $300). BTW the friend we bought the tire for was riding to Wisconsin, the tire we just paid over $300 for never even made it as far as Illinois before it blew out.PS The reason I gave it one star is because it wouldnt let me post it otherwise

Went there wanting to look at 6 helmets I found to my liking on Cycle Gears website... This store had NONE of them. Im not talking about specific colors or graphics (which I could order,) Im talking about models. And these are not unpopular brands or models. HJC RPHA series (which is their top of the line series)... I wanted to check out the RPHA 11, 70, & 90... None of them. The AGV K5 S... Nope. The Bell Race Star...Nope. The Bell SRT Modular... Nope. What a waste of a 45 min ride... I wont be back.
