Outstanding online buying experience. My new Pisgah came well packaged and in tune! I just wish I could afford some of their more expensive guitars as well :). Id recommend anyone to these folks and am sure Ill purchase additional accessories from them in the very near future. Would love to visit the studio in person on my next trip down to NOLA.

Made the trip across town to visit based upon great reviews. Arrived and called to see where to enter since there is no signage outside. Owner answers Banjo Studio, so I ask where to come in. Replies Sorry, Im not open today. I would suggest two things: update your hours to reflect this and dont answer the phone on a day youre closed.

I actually had the chance to visit banjo studio while visiting relatives in New Orleans. David was very helpful and even took out one of his personal banjos to help me find what I was looking for. Its definitely worth a visit, and the prices are excellent. He plays bluegrass, tenor and clawhammer banjo, and is very knowledgeable in helping you find a banjo that matches your playing style.

Took off work early today and drove across town because I thought I had finally found a place to test out a Collings that I’ve been shopping for without needing to drive 6hrs to Houston, but this is apparently just the home address for whoever runs the Banjo Studio online store. I did a few laps of the block trying to spot any sort of signage and attempted to call the listed number with no luck. Not sure why there are opening hours and an address listed for a storefront that doesn’t exist.

I bought a Deering banjo over the phone and Dave was real honest with me, and seemed to care that I made the right choice. No pressure and gave me a great deal on price ! I will do it again when the time comes.Thank you
