You will find a wide selection of cheeses: local, domestic, and imported. They provide tastes of the bulk products as well as excellent guidance. From Danish Bleus to champion locally produced Swiss cheeses, they have it all. Some of the clerks who work here have been in the shop for decades where they continue to provide prompt, friendly, efficient service.

We stopped by recently on our way through town as I grew up in the area and Yaggis is well known there. The person who took care of us was wonderful. She answered all of our questions, specially cut some of our cheeses, and wrapped them for our drive home. She was engaging, and we had a fun time. It was like visiting an old friend. With every visit you leave feeling good, along with the creamiest, most delicious cheese.

My favorite place in the state to get cheese, anytime Im in the area I stop in for a mixed bag of cheese cubes with the hot pepper cheeses. The staff are always friendly and the products are always good quality!

Love Yaggis cheese! Excellent quality in cheese that is made in site and they also offer trail bologna, summer sausage and items like pickled beets from Amish country. You can have cheeses and hard salami sliced to personal preference. Definitely try the chocolates they have for sale!! Friendly staff too.When you pull up, go straight down the brick walk to the right of the Yaggis sign on the building (look for the cuteouse!) and turn immediately left and the door is right there. Doesnt look like much from the outside, but trust me, you will be glad you stopped!

I bought their smoked cheddar and mild swiss cheese. When I got home I cut a few slices and found myself in absolute heaven. Never knew cheese could taste so good. I cut a few more for my son, and he looked at me kind of strange. But I insisted. Five minutes later he was going to the kitchen to get a few more bites... Lol. Then about 30 minutes later he said, I have this urge to want to take a big bite of the cheese instead of just slicing it. You better hide this from Holden whenever he comes to visit, because it will disappear.

Alway stop by when in the area for their cheese. Esp like the horseradish and smoked cheeder.

I have been coming here since I was 6 a time before rt77was here we took old 21to grandparents house and we always stopped here for cheese and trail baloney and crackers it was our snack during 3 hr trip, 60 yrs later its a hour drive but I still stop here to stock up with cheese trail bal.and crackers

I grew up in Ohio and used to frequent the Yaggi Cheese House. Through the years they have held consistent to their heritage as well as their values. They are by far the best in the world in my opinion. The only other place Ive ever found Swiss cheese at the quality Yaggi demands came from Denmark. Milwaukee hasnt got a clue on these folks. And I havent even started on the fact that you can go in and be remembered by name even after a 5 year world hiatus. Dont sell yourself short, pair up with some Brietenbach wine. I want to send a personal thank you to the owners and staff. You guys keep my home warm each year out here in Denver when we celebrate a taste of home with trail bologna and Prized Swiss! Never a bad day when a trip to Yaggis is planned! Huge variety of cheeses, trail bologna, apple butter, pickles, honey, candy ... Its worth the hour and a half I drive to get there! Very neat place with homemade cheeses, but be careful, the road leading there is rough.

Small place, excellent selection of cheese. The habanero cheddar is delicious. But they also have coolers with beef sticks, Uncle Mikes beef jerky, our favorite, especially the spicy hot. There is bacon, smoked sausage, as well as other choices. Also something cold to drink and a few specialty chocolates... Among other things. Stop here, you will be glad you did.

Yaggis is a small, family owned cheese house. Despite the name, the house is not made of cheese, but they have an excellent selection of local cheeses and other cool stuff. Sausage, Trail bologna, beef jerky, snack mix, chips, soda, fudge... Plus their own Yaggis merchandise. Nice little shop, just be careful pulling out of their parking lot.

Nothing more cheesy than Haggis for ALL your cheese needs. Better price and selection than anyone within a 100 mile radius. They will make you feel at home. Many laughs to be had!

This is the perfect place to get some amazing swiss cheese and trail bologna. They offer a wide variety of cheeses with my favorite being the sharp swiss. Try it first before you buy because it is REALLY sharp! If it is too much they offer some less sharp cheese. Dont forget to grab a ring of the famous trail bologna.

Great selection of cheeses. You can even get feta! Friendly staff. Situated in an old cheese house. You can still see the old copper vats they used when they made cheese on site.

Genuine aged cheese. Its the best cheese I ever had. A real treat to eat. I get 5 or 6 varieties, a box of crackers, and a few rings of trail bologna when I visit Ohio. The staff is the most helpful and friendly folks you could ask for. Go to Yaggis you will not be sorry.

If I could give Yaggis Cheese 100 stars I would definitely do it! I just turned a young 76 this past October and was born and raised in Cambridge, Ohio. My Maternal Grandfather began routinely taking me to Yaggis when I was three (3) years old. My short-term memory is beginning to cloud a bit now, but I still vividly recall going with him a couple of times a month, taking the old back roads from Cambridge to Yaggis (there were no freeways!) and it was always a treat to be able to taste the different flavors. I too recall how pleasant the man who always waited on us, probably Grandpa Yaggi, and how he used to laugh at my always predictable comment of Boy Grandpa, this hallway stinks as we were walking down to the old store.After HS graduation I left for the Navy and like so many others served in Vietnam, but in a Special Warfare Unit (UDT-2) where I was rewarded with the affliction that gave me my current designation of Disabled American Veteran. I finally moved back to Ohio two years ago, after living many years in Texas, and the first place I went to on my first trip back to Cambridge was, of course, Yaggis Cheese! I couldnt believe it was still open (I shouldve known better!) much less in the same location! Of course while there I had to walk down that hallway to the original store; what a flood of wonderful memories. Now Ive made a promise to take my two Granddaughters there, having told them all about it!Thanks for enduring my epic review; I talk a lot too when you meet me. My Daughter always tells me that people dont like to listen to my lengthly conversations in the checkout lines, but I dont care, Im just glad to be alive and back home!Blessings,David ODowd >
