Empty shelves, items not priced, messy, and not enough cashiers.Better off driving to the Coshocton Walmart. Its neat, clean, well stocked, friendly associates on the floor. This is my final time of shopping in New Philadelphia

Clean store, friendly environment, although I think the store could be organized better. The grocery dept. & the pharmacy are at opposite ends of the store. Which is entirely too long of a walking distance. Good variety of everything you need . They normally only have two check out lines open though. Except for self check out. I think they need to hire more cashiers!

There will be no foolish tongue-wagging or silly incantations in this review. As such, I don’t expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is Walmart-shopping; however, for those select few who possess the predisposition, I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses!Then again, maybe some of you have come to Walmart in possession of abilities so formidable that you feel confident enough to not pay attention...Are you still reading this???

Again - rearranging everything. Needed help to find an item. Saw an employee with their back to me. I said “ma’am” and was ignored. Again I said “ma’am”, and this time the employee turned around and glared at me - finally said “ma’am” back to me. The waist long, curly hair and mask apparently confused me since it was a man and he was highly irritated with me. If the employee doesn’t want to be mistaken for a women, maybe a haircut is in order. And a change of attitude.

The employees are great & deserve 5 stars. However, they have very few cashiers working. Higher-ups in corporate are doing their best to make customers ring up their own products in self-checkout so they don’t have to hire as many people. Pretty soon customers will have to stock the shelves & clean the building, too. If you love self-checkout or waiting in lines longer than it took you to fill your cart, this is your place. I personally will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I was over charged 3.00 in the self checkout. No one around to call or help. See a head cashier on way out tell her what happened. She says you need to get help when your at the register. There are 15 people in line at the service desk. I was directed literally all over the store for Double AA batteries. The associates didnt even know where they were. There was two registers open 8 self registers with no associates to help. They have you going on the out door and out the in door now. I HATE THIS STORE. I WILL SHOPPING ANYWHERE BUT THIS PLACE

Huge store but great to find everything at one place...

Everything is completely different!!!...they have moved the whole store around. The pharmacy has been replaced and remodeled. It looks very nice but it will take some time to get used to it

Always good to shop at Walmart.Their bread is so good.

Was able find what I wanted quickly with help. Was very busy when I went in but they had all lines open and did their best to get everyone through quickly.

It typically just gets worse and worse. I only keep going there because they tend to have weird things I am looking for that I absolutely can not find elsewhere. This Walmart hasnt had full shelves of anything since I moved to the area 3 years ago. Limited selection of everything (dont expect to have a variety of anything, very basic compared to all the other Walmart stores Ive been to), super small in size for the foot traffic that goes through there daily.

The shelves are hardly ever stocked. Visited other surrounding Walmart stores and found it wasnt the case at those locations, just the Cambridge store. Its as if they forgot how to order stock...

Its a walmart. Not much else to say. Went in to get my vaccine and a snack. The folks at the pharmacy were kind and gentle. Place was absolutely packed though.

Consistently out of products. Not unusual to have no carts available for shopping. Not enough employees available. And no mask required to shop here. This store is always my last choice

Indoor staff is always grouchy.... Outdoor staff however is quite the opposite, friendly and helpful.

Absolutely absurd to only have 6 actual registers and everything else be self check out. If i wanted to work for walmart i would. First time shopping at walmart in over 6 months and will be another 6+ months before i go back if at all.

Lately I have been hating going to Walmart . One they only have 2 cashiers and the lines are 20 plus minute wait. All the self check-out are long also. I checked out myself with $150 worth of groceries. I had a 2 ye old and 11 yr old with me plus my husband. It took so long to check out,I had no room . I dont want to go to Walmart and be there over an hour . If this is how its going to be Im going elsewhere...Ill go to buhlers or Aldi.

Place is completely trash and the service find anything!! when asked for help guy called me a fagg*t under his breath because I was wearing rainbow 🌈 when I said “excuse me?” he threw dill flavored chips at me??? like what the? like yall be hiring just about anyone.

Its getting old about bagging my self and now half of the registers dont aloud to do money. Seems like Walmart and the government wants us to pay with cards so they can watch what we are doing

Waiting for 30 minutes in sporting goods. Page twice no response. Waited about another 15 minutes after I first posted the 30 minutes and then when the girl came they didnt even have what I wanted I cant wait till they get a store to replace them

There were only 3 registers open. It took about 20 minutes to reach the cashier, which seemed like 30 minutes. The plus side of all of this was I got to watch an orney toddler give her very patient mother a hard time and I visited with a nice couple that was upset because the self checkouts dont accept cash. I had a very nice cashier.

If you are paying in cash get ready to wait...1 maybe 2 registers open that accept cash causing extensive lines. Has been this way consistently.

Store is not even close to being staffed correctly. Hardly any handicapped carts and hope you like lines; if not prepare yourself for the self check out lanes. Those lanes may fine for some, but not for me who is handicapped nor my 85 y/o mother. Also, if you need help forget it as the staff are few, far and frazzled.

Its Walmart, we all know what to expect here. Ill say that the grocery selection at this Walmart compared to the other two that are in the same driving distance and time from my house have much better produce, meat and frozen food selections.This location in New Philadelphia is in need of some parking lot work and working on their floors. The pharmacy is always quick, friendly and willing to help and Ive always had great assistance in the garden department as well.Their produce department and meat departments used to be great, now if rather pay the extra $ to go to a smaller grocery store. Mens clothing section used to be pretty decent, now they need a bit more work as well.

Pretty clean and easy to find where everything was. Has everything a normal Walmart would carry plus food. So if you need something here is your one stop shop.

Good selection, Good Prices, and they Let me Ride my Hover board in the Store as per the Service Desk and the assistant store Manager Jackie, who said as long as you are holding onto a shopping cart

New Philadelphia location is terrible. You can not find nothing. There is no costumer service to help you find what you are looking for. Even if you found a rep to help you they really do not know where it is located cause they change things every other day. Or they just point in some direction

Well for one barley any of registrar s r open for cash very lil ppl workin registrar so it need s to go back the same way it was everyone dont have credit cards so.e ppl cant afford them or if they have one they have already used it to pay there bills so yea needs to go back as it was b4 all the changes

Just when I find something I like they never have it in stock. Most personnel is nice but like all places some are not.

I have my prescription filled here by Text and its the best way for me and once its filled I received another Text. Love it!

New Philadelphia Walmart is the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been to. Their staff is the worst and most unhelpful I have came across in a long time. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because they seem to stock more things than others.

The New Phila Walmart is horrible. They have rearranged EVERYTHING. I dont have time or patience for a grocery hunt. Then you wait behind 5+ people to check yourself out. HORRIBLE!!!

This particular Wal-Mart is frustrating. They remodel alot so everything is moving around. The shelves are empty or almost empty.

Its a disaster. Shouldnt have to ring out and bag your own things, should get a discount.

Im normally pretty lenient with Walmart shenanigans but these last few visits have been ridiculous. Nothing is where it should be on the shelf, the app is completely incorrect, stock is wrong, locations of products are all wrong, they cant settle on a store layout and most recently we went for a trashcan, all the lids and trashcan were mixed, not one can was in the right spot making it impossible to price them. This walmart has been sliding downhill. They need to shape up before they find the bottom.

Skip this location and drive a little further to Coshocton, Millersburg, or Canton.

I shop there exclusively. I will not eat any other low fat cottage cheese if at all possible. It is 1% milk fat as opposed to other stores product and name brands that are 2%. Plus the taste is so much better. I have been trying new Great Value products instead of name brands. I just brought home some new Great Value snack crackers and French fried onion rings to use on green bean casserole. I haven’t tried them yet but I am confident they will be good. I bought great value salsa and I absolutely love the Hernandez tortilla chips. My family agrees that they are the best chips we’ve ever had. I hope you enjoy your experience at your Walmart and don’t be afraid to try the Great Value products. They are delicious. I was just thinking tonight at the store about how many Great Value items that I buy.

Shopping at Walmart is getting very aggravating. Only 1 or 2 checkout lines are open whenever I go, and the lines are never less than 4 people long. The prices should be cut in half of we must do our own checking out. If there was a comparable grocery store in the same area, I would never stop foot in Walmart again.

It was an absolute wreck. They are rearranging everything and it is impossible to find things. They only had one vaporizer in stock and with it being cold and flu season, you would think they would stock up. Very disappointing.

It is so aggravating that their are almost no actual checkout lines with people. I dont want to scan and bag my own groceries. And if I have to maybe lower your prices! Also not everyone uses a debit/credit card so not only bag yourself you cant use cash at them either.

I almost always find the items I come to look for. Always need to buy more propel drink mix.

This store is becoming REDICULOUS. There is NO reason for them to try and be forcing people to use cards. Ive asked local banks and they were never short on change. It is wrong for all the self checkouts to be set on card only. Now the cash registers are card only and to use cash you have to take your slip to the service desk. This REDICULOUS thing of having workers pull orders for people leaves nothing but empty shelves. Fix the issues or lose a customer that has shopped here for many years. It is absolutely wrong for you to try and force people to use cards! Accept my cash at ALL checkouts or I will shop elsewhere!

The store is a straight wreck... Everything has been moved around & shelves are just empty for your everyday items.

The last couple of times I’ve been inside to shop they have only had 2 checkouts open but most of the SELF checkouts were open. I didn’t want to use the self checkouts because I had produce & Im not sure how to check those out. I decided I will no longer go into the store so I ordered pickup for between 4-5pm. I got here at 4:55pm & the app wouldn’t let me pick what spot I was in so when no one came to check on me I called the “Check In” # at 5:05pm. I told him I have a grocery pickup & a Walmart.com pickup. He asked me what spot I was in & said they would be out. At 5:30pm I tried to call the main store # so I could speak to a manager to tell them they need to get these workers some help but there was no answer. At 5:40pm the car beside me that came after me got their groceries so I called the Check In # again & told him I’ve been waiting over 45 minutes & he asked what spot I’m in again. I told him 8 & I have 2 orders & he said they had the wrong spot so that’s probably why. At 5:50pm I tried to call the main store # again & after the 29th ring they came out. I reminded her I have 2 orders & she said this was just the grocery order so they must be getting the other order ready inside. While she was loading my car one of the other customers came over to the worker loading my car & asked if she can cancel her order because she’s also been here for over an hour. At 6:02 she finished loading my car with the grocery order & said she’ll go check on my other order. She brought out the other order at 6:03. I am done with this Walmart. I will find my stuff at another store or go to Canton but I will not go to this Walmart again.

Always have the same thing they are always the last to update anything or get new items in. Misty of the time their always out of anything I need

Not to great. If you dont have a credit card you cant use the fast checkout. Have to stand in the long lines for checkout.

Store was clean... only problem was they had blocked off both entrances for painting lines and people had to back up to get there cars turned around to get out of spots close to the entrance...which are the handicapped ones too,it was a bit of a mess.

Keep the Maruchan and your shelves stocked. For a store a store with a big name, and the only one around, it should always have available items. Friendlier staff too.

Did pick up order, even did early check in when was on our way. Sit outside for 30 minute seen them wait on 2 cars that pulled in 15 minutes after us. I call 3 times and none would answer the phones.We had to go over to a gentleman that was put grocery in and vehicle beside us, told him we have been waiting sitting here for 30 mins.Finally some came to take our name . Took 40 mins to get my order. Not happy at all.

I recently came in to buy a sweeper for dog hair and was willing to spend whatever I needed to take care of all the hair in my house. I found the one I wanted but didnt see it below the display or anywhere close.So I looked for a employee to help and he quickly said no we dont have them and went about his business. With a little effort he could have helped me look and maybe found another one but instead the store lost out on 400 dollars which was the price of the one I wanted.

They need to have more clerks at open registers so the lines arent so long.

This Walmart needs to learn supply and demand. They are continuously out of items.

I have a business connection to Walmart and travel many all over the state. I’ve seen some great stores and some that leave much to be desired. The New Philly location has some of the most cramped aisles I’ve ever seen. The traffic flow in and out of the store at both entrances is completely backwards. We watched confused customers all day long walk up to the wrong doors to exit waiting for the doors to open with a clear look of confusion on their faces. How the staff is unaware of this issue is beyond me. On the Subway side, you enter on the left and exit on the left which means you cash out and have to cross through new customers entering the store to get to your exit doors. On the grocery side, it’s the same thing but opposite. Enter on the right, exit on the right... we saw many frustrated customers the two day we were there. Aisles that were only big enough for one cart to get through and never anyone around to ask for help. People ask us for help all day long not realizing we are contractors, we’ve gotten pretty good at where to direct them. Not sure why Walmart isn’t doing more to promote their app. With the in store map you can find whatever you’re looking for without needing to bother an associate.

Clean easy to find things and the majority of employees are kind but not all of them really one one person,but I hear shes rude to EVERYONE, OTHER THAN THAT GTEAT EMPLOYEES

I love the service I love to shop for my groceries and just go and pick them up but in the last six months you updated your website when you updated it it went crazy and its just not my phone I shop on Amazon and other websites I do not have this problem it is definitely your Walmart website it just it just doesnt work right

Never answer their phone! I forgot a bag at one of the self checkouts and tried to call for them to check and put it aside so nobody would take it but absolutely nobody picked up the phone rang and rang and rang I tried electronics I tried deli I tried pick up none were picking up the phone.
