I would give First Choice zero stars if that were an option. I had them set a tank and fill, knowing that it was my back up heat source (Nov. 2016) They recently came to my house and removed the tank with 70% of gas in it and took my gas line riser. Now they want to charge me a low usage fee for not filling once a year. I never received and call or letter like First Choice claims. They won’t refund my cost of the gas that was still in the tank and still want the $60 charge. Poor customer relations and poor service from the field staff taking material that wasn’t theirs in the first place.

I have used 1st Choice Energy for the past year but service has declined over time. The last two deliveries were not as easy as the rest. In the past I was given a time when the driver would arrive so I could verify that I would be home to pay for the service. When calling to schedule the last two services, I was told the next few days which is not helpful at all. The last time, I was at work when the driver arrived. Luckily my fiance was home and called me. I had to leave work to come pay the bill. I was given the service slip and paid the total amount. I then received an invoice from the company stating a shortage of payment. I compared the service slip with the invoice and the driver had calculated the tax incorrectly ($5.97 less than the invoice). After several attempts to contact the company I was finally able to speak with someone about the issue and resolve it over the phone (paid $5.97 by card). I do not understand how an error on the companies part becomes the customers problem. I paid the total amount on the service slip at the time of service, and I am then told that I did not pay enough? The amount is not the issue, the principle of the action is the issue. The company should take responsibility for their own errors. People make mistakes, but the customer should not be held accountable for the companies error (The company should have absorbed the cost of their own error) . I will no longer be using 1st Choice Energy Services.

Called to get my propane filled, called the New Philadelphia location and the Cadiz Ohio location. The Phila location said they would call me back and never did. The Cadiz location did the same yet I had to call them back to figure out when someone could come out. Had to wait another two days to hear anything back about that. Now comes the day they are suppose to fill the tank. Haven’t received a call or any information on what time they would be out of if they are even coming out. Extremely unprofessional. Very terrible first experience with them.

Easy location for gasoline. They only sell Diesel and Regular Unleaded

I tried to call HR and theres this woman who answer the phone goes by the name Kerri or whatever she spells her name. She was the most unprofessional person Ive ever heard . I suggest if you call this place stay away from Kerri she will ruin your day.

Great prices. Had a communication problem and CSR called me to get feedback and stated it would be taken care of.
