The folks at Mathias BMW really helped us out of a jam! My wife and I were traveling from Michigan to southern Ohio for a few days of riding. Final drive bearing went out; Mathias was able to make the repair and we were back on the road less than 24 hours after the breakdown. We were in a pinch and concerned that the repair would be expensive and that wed have to cancel the rest of trip. We feel that we were treated fairly and are very grateful to Mathias for fixing the bike and saving our long-anticipated trip!

We traveled from St Louis, Missouri on the word of the owner about a motorcycle he had for sale and am I glad we did!!! It was a 20 hour round trip, but the motorcycle was as advertised and came with a large box of extra parts. Gene and his staff couldnt have been more gracious, helpful and friendly. In fact, he and a couple of his mechanics helped me load and secure the bike, in the RAIN. Above and beyond.

They are simply the best. I live around 150 miles from Mathias BMW. I wouldnt go across the street for any other BMW sevice

I called dealership in advance to look at a used bike. They said the bike was there and I told them Id be over sometime that day. Drive 2 hours, get there. bike is good. Dealer says, hey glad you like the bike. If you want to put an offer on it youll have to talk to the owner turns out the dealership is only acting as a consignment for this particular bike that Im looking at and they couldnt get the owner on the phone for the hour and a half I sat there before driving the 2 hours back home. Im rating 2 stars because the dealership needs to have some self awareness that New Philladelphia, Ohio is not a large town or a convenient location for many of their customers. If you have a situation where a third party is needed for a deal to go through then they need to provide the service to ensure that is possible before having a customer get there. Beware and make sure to be absolutely certain that they are actually the ones selling the bike before heading out here and being put in the same situation I was.

Ive been coming here for 8 years and have purchased and serviced 3 bikes. Always a great experience and the service is everything you need and nothing you dont at a fair price. Gene and crew are real pros.

I have road bikes for 48 years.Have owned 9 BMWs. There were no BMW shops in WV that I was aware of at the time I started riding BMW motorcycles. When I started riding BMWs I went to 5 BMW shops within 2.5 hrs of my home. Gene was the most old school and enjoyable to do business with. I can pick up the phone and call and have the parts I need sent promptly to my home and actually talk to a real person.My next bike will be bought at Mathias BMW.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I have purchased 2 BMWs from Gene and company. They were great selling but pretty lousy for anything else. I have been dealing with them and Gene since they were located on 800...so Ive done business with them for quite a while.*My 2007 K1200GT was involved in a recall...they said they were really busy and i should back inn a month or so. I did that and they wanted to put me off another 2 months, knowing that I would not be in Ohio as per our initial conversation. Are they really that busy?or are they just trying to get out of doing the recall...*I finally took my bike to MOTO Ohio in Columbus and they informed me I had another outstanding recall...but heres the rub...Mathias BMW SOLD me the parts for that recall and said I could do it myself(which I did at my expense).* It took 1 year to get a second key from them after I bought the bike and they said they would have one for me...I have been motorcycling for 51 years...I dealt with Mathias because I felt they were old school and understood the motorcycling population. I STRONGLY recommend that you avoid doing business with them and if possible use Motohio in Columbus, Holt BMW in Athens or any other dealer in Ohio....unless you want to be lied to, put off on recall work and treated like a stranger every time you enter the dealership.
