It took a over a month for a dishwasher replacement, this was no fault of theirs. However, the repair man came to my home, pulled the dishwasher out and left it in the middle of my kitchen floor. The pieces were falling off the bottom and sides. When I called, I was told they were ordering the part. No apology or anything regarding the appliance left in the middle of my floor. The woman who answers the phone was horrendous to work with. They scheduled and failed to show up twice. I work from home and waited the entire day both times. Only to be told they were here and I was not home, lies??!!! The third attempt was me calling them again to find out what time. I expressed the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. I was unknowingly put on hold for 3mins. She came back to the phone, would not allow me to speak, said this will be the last time, thank you and disconnected.In these times, we need to establish good customer service. Its imperative, word of mouth speaks volumes and loyal customers is what keeps us afloat. Take your business where they value you. This place, well, I guess is hit or miss. Buying a new dishwasher from them.... and they provide this level of service.... its head scratching to say the least.

Had chip out to repair a washer, chip said he couldnt fix it unless it was hooked up. I didnt know you guys werent qualified to hook up the machines or we wouldve called someone else

Do not even TRY and return or exchange an appliance purchased from Bay Area Appliance. You will be met with the most hostile and unbelievably rude response you can imagine from a business. Every employee I spoke with was purposefully short, rude and unhelpful, most especially manager Jim, who quickly resorted to SCREAMING on the phone and yelling insults at me.Hilariously bad customer service and company owners would not respond to my email regarding my experience. Do not buy anything from these people.

DO NOT BUY FROM BAY AREA APPLIANCE!I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Owner is nasty individual, he would not apply discount coupon from their website told me it was an old website. Told me to call the lady i dealt with and that it would come out of her pay check. He hung up on me and refused to answer my call. Waited a week for fridge and oven to be delivered and oven was not just scratch and dent it was damaged. They tried to get driver to pay me 15 dollars instead of the 105.00 i was supposed to be discounted.had them return my applaince and take theirs back. They damage and took chunk out of my countertop when they put oven back. Sent them picture of the counter and they did not respond. This review is not where i will stop either.

There are a lot of bad reviews thus far on this store. Im writing a good review based on service thus far, the condition of the units I bought, and the price.Service has been good. I was sold a whirlpool washer and dryer that looked very nice. The washer has 9 cycles and 5 speeds. The dryer has 4 cycles and 3 temps. Delivery, hook up, and a 90 day warranty was included at the price of 375, which is pretty fair if the operational condition meets or exceeds the physical condition of the appliances.My first load in the washer is going now. Everything appears good. Well see how the dryer does and how well the units work down the road. I believe that I can come back and edit my review. Im hoping to do so with a 5-star or even a four. If not, Ill be another one of the single star reviews.Jim

Becareful using this company and having them come into your neighborhood. Their employees drive extremely erratic and have no respect for the residents in the neighborhoods in which they service.

They sell used damaged and defunk products buyer beware. Also, their service department charges for services that they do not perform. They charge $278 to replace a motor on the refrigerator and they actually never did replace anything. They would not come out and service the unit after complaining to them. Also, had another company come out and verify that the motor was never replaced they were lying the whole time. Finally, check your serial numbers on the used and preowned appliances. They have a tendency of scratching them off because there are either stolen or unserviceable without it. I would never buy anything from this company again very poor way of dealing with clients. Shop at famous Tate Senior self the trouble.

I own and manage quite a few rental properties. I have used several appliance stores and all of them were bad experiences. I have been purchasing used appliances from Bay Area Appliances for over a year and a half. They have good prices. I did have one issue come up but they came out right away and took care of it. I would recommend them. They also have quite a few scratch and dent appliances that are very reasonably priced. Quite a bit of inventory.

I purchased a cheap washer and dryer from them and they delivered right away. The dryer did not turn off when the door opened, I did not know until delivered and was told then and that there was a 90 day warranty. I called and asked about repairing it and was told someone would be out several times and no one showed up. It was delivered on Oct. 13 and finally on Oct. 31 a repairman showed up and in 5 minutes installed a new switch to make it work properly. I am thankful that it has been repaired. Both appliances work just fine. After reading the reviews I had been afraid that they would not repair it for me. They did repair it and am thankful that I was able to purchase a cheap washer and dryer that works. That renewed my faith in them.

They have great quality appliances for great prices and the lady at the counter was really nice. The delivery men handled my washer an dryer with excellent care!!! Would come back again

Johnny at the New Port Richey store is a good guy. He answered all my phone calls and treated me courteously every time. He made good on promises and made sure we were happy when we had issues. My appliance repair man, who is Johnnys competitor in some respects, told me that of all the used appliance stores, Johnny rated the highest in his book and it proved to be true.

Good alternative to paying full price for new at a huge department store.

As a flipper I have bought from this store several times and never have had a problem. Always worked with me to make sure I got the right product for my houses. They have great prices and fast delivery. Alway clean up and always make sure I am happy and everything is working before they leave. I had been in law enforcement for 26 years and for me to give 5 stars is hard to do but so far they have delivered on every occasion. New store manager in Port Richey/Holiday is great and she is always looking for new deals for me. Cant say enough good things and I trust them enough to send my son their way as he now has his first flip property. I recommend you stop in and give the new manager a try and see her prices. Update! We bought over the phone a refurbished Whirlpool matching Washer and Dryer on 3/17/2021. Someone had promised to pick the pair up for me but they couldnt do it, so even though I love in Sumter County, Abigail offered to have her delivery truck come all this way! The delivery was on time the guys couldnt be more courteous and this set is better than I ever though they could be! Working great! I dont want to ever stop buying major appliances from them so even though I live out of the area they accommodated me! This is probably the 10th purchase from.my family and extended family from BayArea. There is no other appliance store like them! I would give them 10 🌟 stars if I could.😀I have bought from this company many times over the years!! Great company, 90 day warranty, you get a very nice applicance for such a great price.. I highly recommend them

I am a landlord and I buy all of my residential rental homes refrigerator and range is from Bay Area. Their prices are so reasonable I dont even bother to repair them normally I just get a new used one. I also have a vacation house that I recently got new refrigerator dishwasher and range from them dented but perfect otherwise

They have been my go to for appliances for rentals for a few years now. Prices are decent and they tend to be friendly towards me or my wife.

30 days warranty means nothing to them people they will not come and service it i bought a set my dryer died before 30 days passed. They wouldnt fix it even though they say they would. Do not buy from them scammers.

I assume new owners, dont know. I was in a few months ago and the worker wasnt interested in helping. 2nd time no difference except the appliances were not as nice as before.

Do not purchase major appliances from these charlatans! My mother and father (both very elderly) bought a used refrigerator from them over a week ago. It hasnt worked correctly since they delivered it and Bay Area Appliance has simply played them and us along. When it didnt work after delivery, they did come out and work on it and also attempted to repair the icemaker. Still didnt keep temp in the refrigerator and ice maker still didnt work. They came out again and attempted repairs....same result. They then (John the owner) that if they couldnt get it repaired on the next trip they would replace it with another refrigerator. They were out today (over a week now messing with these people) and still didnt fix the refrigerator and now the owner is saying Well.....to give them this other refrigerator he has to have an additional $50. The story changes daily.........sorry my folks bothered with this fly by night rip off!

They had promised for a week that they were coming to purchase my used appliances.They kept telling me the driver will be there and has a check. All along they were playing a game and never showed up. Poor, deceitful and lie to you on the phone. The outfit is run by Middle Easterners. Keep away and avoid the aggravation.

Horrible customer service I called 3 days in a row for a quote not one person could return my call or provide any information. The woman there is the most unprofessional person I have ever spoke to. If you cant do her job and provide good customer service she needs to find a new job

Theyre customer service is terrible. They wouldnt set an appointment to check on a range burner that wasnt working. They call and want to show up when its convenient for them. They were told to call or show up on a thurs or fri morning before 12. They called Tues and Wed wanting to come out after they were told that wasnt possible the tech yelled at her asking if she wanted the service or not and then hung up.

Ill just keep it simple. If I could give zero stars I would. They sold me junk the first day I had them the wash did not drain and the dryer pully was broken. I did not even get one load of laundry done. Had to go to laundry mat to Finnish. I had a warranty. But no one showed up after three difrent days of no show They would not return my calls anymore so I gave up . So I just went and pick up some new ones from lowes. I recomend Dont buy anything From bayshore They suck. They also have a store in Clearwater. And maybe largo. Ps. I my be out $600. But on the back of my pick up truck I posted( BAYSHORE appliance Is a rip off ) wish I could show a photo of it. I also put it on the sides of my dads old box truck and I park it at flea markets and Im going to take it to the Florida state fair. I have had many people tell me that is a good ideal to get the massage out. And they love it. Also had people tell me thank you for the info. I have purchased a washer and dryer and now recently a refrigierater and both times I have been very very disappointed. They make promises and dont keep them, their repair serves are almost non exixisting they make appointment after appoint,meant and never show up. I have been waiting for over two months for them to fix the issues. Last time they put me off past the 90 days and then wanted to charge me a service call. Not reliable

I am writting this review on bay area appliances cause i have bought a washer and dryer from them and when i needed my dryer cord hooked up to my dryer they tell me they will be here at 12 pm or so it had gotten to be after 6 pm and no call or no show. Then during the day i kept trying to call them to find out what is taking so long and they would not answer then phone so we called from another phone and number they did not recognize and they answered and asked us why are you calling from a different number. .all during they day they said they would be here in fourty five minutes no show 2 hours later. then they said within the next 15 minutes no show. they say they will return your callls and dont. this office is in new port richey off of hwy 19. if you need reliable service go somewhere else.

These people are terrible! Do not get appliances from them. If something breaks you are screwed because they dont answer your number, they check caller i.d. and just say they will call u back. give everone the run around. Lie and say I didnt even purchase the appliance there. Day one it was leaking and he told me we dont send anything out broken I said well I didnt break it after one use. Says he will call back and never does. These guys are the epitome of bad service. Will never deal with again!

I totally agree with the reviews from Patrick & Jared! We bought a brand new washer and dryer Feb 27 and 5 weeks later the washer stopped working. After phone calls on a daily basis (from my side) they finally sent a tech on the 4th day, but nothing resolved. Then they said they ordered a new part which was suppose to be installed a week ago on Monday, we waited home but no tech, no phone call. I called again on Wednesday and they asked me for the model number AGAIN! He told me they received the incorrect part, but would be here by Friday. Its now Monday evening, still no word, no tech and Ive been without a washing machine for 15 days! I am VERY unhappy!!
