The men that helped me at Astro Cycles were wonderful, they did everything that they said they would and more! The service was prompt, efficient, and had spare parts in stock.I originally had a leaking tire tube, tried to change the tube myself but the front wheel would not come off. I refilled the tire and began the ride to Astro when the front tube exploded causing further damage.James and the owner examined the damage, took the difficult tire off, and realized that I needed a new tire, the thin rubber rim sheath, and a broken spring on the front tire quick release. I had earlier purchased a new tube and a spare also.The gentleman were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend these guys and their services anytime! The overall cost was extremely reasonable, and they provided the replacement spring for free. I am now a happy bike rider!

This should set him apart from the rest, as he is gaining hands on experience from his routine rides excels the understanding of his craft to help others safely perform and enjoy their rides. Great and friendly service and reasonable prices

I purchased a mountain bike from Astro Cycles about 3 months ago . I was very hesitant on purchasing anything from this shop because the shop was completely unorganized and very dirty. Unfortunately because of Covid this was the only local place I could find that had a bike I would be happy with . Brian the owner was very knowledgeable and helpful but his son sat there with a bad attitude and was very unfriendly. I’ve had the bike back to the shop 3 times and still haven’t had it fixed properly. The third time the bike was apparently rebuilt because it was put together wrong and although it seemed fine on the test ride the second I hit the trail it was worse then when I dropped it off . I had some hope dealing with Brian because he seemed to have a passion for what he does but unfortunately I had to bring my business somewhere else . If it wasn’t for him I would have definitely gave Astro Cycles 1 star .

The worst place to bring your mountain bike to get fixed. I brought mine January 29 to get new brakes, cables and new tires. They called and said they will need the wheels to get the job done. Due to personal issues It took me 2 months to get back to them which I owe my delay. I did arrived with necessary parts. To my surprised my frame was thrown at the back of the wall like getting ready for scrap. I was told the bike was gonna get fixed in a few weeks, after a month I decided to check the progress on my bike, to my surprise the bike was never touched or even moved. If they didn’t wanted to work on my bike why even bother to take it. I will never recommend this place. Probably the bike doesn’t mean anything to them for us is a sentimental value that no one can put a price tag on it. Very disappointed at this establishment.

Terrible experience, would not recommend. Spoke to the owner in person a week ago and placed a deposit for a bike to be fixed up for me. Owner said weekends are busy but would be done by Monday or Tuesday and would call when done. Went in on Wednesday and he couldn’t remember it. When I showed him the deposit slip he remembered and said “it’s a week out I can get started on it now.” Horrible customer service.

They buy stolen bikes and wont give them back to the rightful owner even if you can describe every part on your own bmx bike that was stolen, had this experience here a couple yrs ago and passed buy the shop and it reminded me of the incident, dude who runs this place is clown, who sells a redline with lots of aftermarket parts to a shop for only $100?

Came in for a loose bike chain on my sons bike. They fixed on about 5 minutes and didnt even charge us. So nice and helpful.

Zero stars if possible. I Dropped off my sons bicycle to be assembled and was called the next day stating it was ready for pick up. As soon as my son tried to ride the bike his handle bars werent assembled correctly and the entire handle bar could do a 360 turn. My husband called the next day and was told to bring the bike up again to be fixed. Once again my husband picked up the bike and was reassured that the bike was assembled correctly. NOW the bike handles are able to move forward and backwards while riding! Im not sure how a business can incorrectly assemble a bicycle TWICE then claim that bicycles are their area of expertise let alone not double check to assure that the bicycle is safe to ride. Completely pathetic employees and the safety of their customers is not a priority.

I was in the market for a new bike and reached out to this company through Maps and their website, but I guess they thought I wasnt worth the business because after repeated attempts I never heard a single word from them.No worries, I bought the bike I wanted off of Amazon.Not only did this bike shop lose a sale they lost a customer as well.

This place is a secret that needs to be told. I had a flat rear tire and bad front brakes. TJ took care of me while I waited and I talked with the staff, who are bright and energetic. Go here for quality work and good/fair prices.

I never did business with a bike shop before. A fun bunch of guys. They trued my bike wheel (adjusted spokes) for $15. I suppose that thats a fair price.

First time ever at the shop and Ill never return. I think it was the owner who was completely rude.First no one greeted me or even looked my way when I entered. I had to wait around about 10 minutes just to get grab some tires. I was speaking to a bearded gentleman who was great.He helped me quickly and had to ask the owner a question on pricing. The owner asks me my bike type and goes to tell me the tires wont fit and I needed to buy his more expensive tires. When I told him Ive used the same exact tires without any problem he just turned around and walked away.Discourteous owner and overpriced gear. His $50 gator skin tires are about $25 on Amazon.Guess Im just sticking to Amazon for my bike parts.

Ive been to Astro cycles many times and have been impressed with the knowledge, inventory, and service Brads team provides. I live in clearwater, but often find myself making the 45 min drive to Astro cycles to get the whole package of this great shop. Its worth the time and the drive, go check them out!

There are not a lot of places with 3 wheel adult bikes in stock. Yes, they have 2 new and 2 used, come 10ish that is when we get the bikes out front. I get there, the bikes are still in the trailer, so this guy lights up a cigarette and points to a used one 4 bikes in this trailer. I ask if I can take it for a test ride the tires are flat. If you decide to buy it, Ill inflate the tires I ask to see the new ones. They are in the trailer also in boxes, cigarette in hand opens a bit of the box so I can see the colors. I decide Ill buy the blue one. 2 days assembly time at the most. REALLY? Another highlight was I knew the bike would fit in my car, with the handle bars lowered. Again this clueless man measures from the top of the handlebars and tells me no its not going to fit. I cancel my sale.I I go to Brooksville Bicycle Center and bought one assembled for the same price and it fit into my car perfectly with the handle bars lowered. These guys are more interested in bike repairs. Just thought Id let anyone know if they are going there wanting to purchase a bike. I think the manager/owner should have taken more of an interest in customer service, not send out this clueless, cigarette smoker..

Was referred to Astro because of their service and I just want to say I’m appalled by the conversation amongst the employees. It was completely inappropriate for a work place.The shop was incredibly dirty and that shows the owner isn’t showing concern about covid. “Cares for the community” but doesn’t take care about his shop, or follow guidelines to keep people safe.

No Presta valve core after I calling your shopto replace the failed rear tire core stem on a $470+ pre owned Giant purchace two week ago..Your man acts as if replacing a stem core is an impossibility in order to sell whole tubeBrad....really the CovId story getting old. These guys rock!!! Solid customer service and they are extremely knowledgeable. I was in with my bike with a rear tire flat. I was unsure if it was the inner tube or the actual tire. They had my bike repaired in less than ten minutes! I highly recommend this business with whatever issue you may have with your bike or if youre in the market to buy one.

If your going to have someone answer phones for you, make sure they have experience... They guy asked me if I was looking for a 36 frame bike.... I had to inform him theres no such thing on a mountain bike. He also had no idea what a fat bike was.Thats embarrassing for him, dont have inexperienced people answer the phone AND try to help customers out if they dont have experience doing so in the field.

I dont normally leave reviews but in light of what is happening I needed to say something.Im relocating to the New Port Richey area and was looking for a LBS. I visited a few. Astro Cycles is the most disappointing shop during this time. It is dirty and unkept. The owner needs to clean! I will never recommend people to this shop and will be going to Trinity. This isnt community coming together, this is ignoring the recommendations. Id be embarrassed as a business owner.

Great service & bikes. After spending a couple hundred dollars on some bikes from Walmart and them breaking multiple times we went to see Brad. He is very knowledgable and I highly recommend this shop. We purchased two used bikes from him 4 years ago and havent had ANY issues at all since purchasing.

I just got home from Astro where I was able to rent a tandem bike to teach my 11 year old how to ride a bike. They checked everything out on the bike for our safety, fitted us for seat height, and even loaded the bike into my husbands truck for me.The guys working there were so helpful and knowledgeable- I loved their attitude and energy! I will be buying both of my kids and husband their Christmas bikes from Astro- not to mention, they will build you the bike of your dreams- so many cool options; from handlebar styles, fenders, even phone holders- just a really cool smart bike shop with awesome people and great prices!

Just moved to the area. Broke a spoke on the rear wheel, drive side. Thats the most involved spoke repair. Called Astro and asked if I could wait for the repair so I wouldnt have to drive twice. No problem. Quality work (I watched them), fair price. I now have my go to bike shop. Should be your shop, too. Brad is the owner, Steve is one of the mechanics. Both bikers.

This shop is just around the corner from my home. I have bought 3 bikes in total from here and one was brought in for repairs. Brad has always been quick, fair, and knowledgeable. After the last bike I bought, my first road bike, Brad generously offered to lead an evening small group ride. If you cant tell, Brad has a great big passion for the cycling community. Theses guys might know what they are doing but there shop looks like a tornado went thru it..I personally would be embarrassed for a customer to see the parts and junk laying around..If the condition of there place reflects on there work Id pass..There used bikes had ratty seats..frayed cables..nasty grips and rusty chains..I find better stuff at pawn shops..🤔

These guys are amazing. I brought my bicycle here after getting hit by a car. They were friendly, courteous, and most importantly knowledgeable. He took the time to look over the bike, look up the specific parts I needed, and explain pricing.I had to have parts ordered from CA and they still fixed my bike in about a week. They called me when it was ready and even followed up.By the time I got back to them they were closing up for the day but still willing to have me swing by and get my bike.Their prices are reasonable and they give amazing service. The people hating on them in reviews are the ones with the problem, these guys are awesome.

Employees are very helpful and friendly. Bought my bike and some extras things to put on it and they put it all on for me. Even loaded it in the car for me. Rode it once and had a flat tire in the morning. Called them and they said to bring tire up so they could look at it. Replaced the tube free of charge as valve stem had a leak.
