I used to be the COO of this company. I gave up my commission for one month in order to get my handicap father a trikaroo Joey. The retail cost of this scooter is what CEO Gina Garcia deducted from my commission one month (not to mention she still to this day owes me 3 months commission she never paid). When we got the scooter for my dad, I immediately reported it looked like the cables were getting smashed when the scooter folds up. One his train ride to work, the cables snapped, cutting off power to the scooter. My dad had to push it off 2 trains and a bus and then from the train station to his truck. My dad had polio and has had a broken hip and many health problems.Multiple times my father has called trikaroo and asked to buy a replacement cable and they have not helped him. Gina blocked my number and stopped responding as well. This business is shady. They do not take care of their customers and they certainly do not take care of their employees. Many employees have filed claims against Gina for not paying what is owed. I would avoid buying from Trikaroo.
I have to share our recent experience with our Trikaroo Flyer XL. I bought it 2 years ago and it was one of the best purchases Ive made. On a recent trip to Disney Resorts, I had at least 50 people question me about the scooter. It is an incredible vehicle to have when walking many hours isnt an option. Its mainly used for my wife, but the option to have 2 people on it makes it so unique. The only thing that may be an issue is to haul it youd need a platform type attachment that goes onto a vehicle trailer hitch. Even though it folds up to about half its size, the weight makes it difficult to lift it into a vehicle. The quality is amazing, have had no issues since purchasing it. And while operating it in all the Disney Parks for many hours each day, the battery life is incredible! Theres not another portable scooter that can touch this one for value. And its fun to ride!
The scooter is great everyone that see me riding wants to get one
My father-in-law is disabled and got a Trikaroo Joey scooter. He was riding it from work.. he has to go on two trains and a bus.. the company didn’t pay attention to detail when they assembled this scooter because early on her complained about The wiring getting pinched when the scooter folds up. Sure enough after about 10 uses/ trips The wiring split in half. He contacted the company multiple times and after about the six time they got back to him and told him that he needs to fix it himself. He was simply asking for the new wiring unit so he can install it himself. I am extremely disappointed in the company and especially the owner of the company for her poor work ethic. She knows he is disable and I can’t believe they have no replacement parts for a scooter that isn’t even a year old! I would not recommend anyone buying a scooter from this company! Now he is without a scooter and back to walking around with his cane. Crushed dreams. Sad day for our family. Stay away from Trikaroo. Made in China.
The Flyer XL was a gift to my mother. Her mobility had decreased over the past year and now she has regained some of her independence back. We love how it folds up and is easy to take with us when we travel. Thank you Liz Grey for the warmth and caring attitude you showed as I was shopping for this scooter. The customer service you have shown is an asset to such a wonderful product.
Liz Grey . That is all you need to know. She is the bees knees and will set you up with a amazing little scooter. They are the best too, I test drove one at an RV show and they are awesome.Highly recommend Liz, she knows her stuff. Wonderful girl!
I purchased a scooter from Liz Grey in recently and it’s been a blessing to me. She’s very personable and answered all my questions and made sure I was able to contact her or the company with any issues. I couldn’t be more pleased with the product and customer service. Thank you Liz!
No inventory because waiting for kits from China wonder if this will be an issue a year or two down the road
Recently purchased the Trikaroo XL. We worked with Liz Grey to place our order. She was excellent to work with. Everything she promised we received in a timely manner. Liz went above and beyond what was expected. She even had me call her after receiving my Trikaroo to explain all the features and to ensure that everything arrived as expected and that we fully understood everything about the Trikaroo XL! You don’t find this type of customer service anymore!!! Thanks for everything Liz! I love my Trikaroo!!!
Made in China. Cheap. Owner is Communist. They rip there employees off too. Bad business. Stop lying to peole Gina.
We went to their flagship store in New Port Richey to pick up our new Boomer X and the staff/technicians were amazing! They took all the time we needed to ask all of our questions from their hands on demonstration of all the features it has. We love it!!! Thank you to the crew at Trikaroo!!!
Trikaroo has one of the best products on the market. Customer service is top notch. They are always willing to help if you run into any issues. I have the Boomer X and it is such a fun, comfortable, and affordable ride. No insurance. No gas. No worries!! I love it :)
Trikaroo manufactures fantastic mobility vehicles. Allowing people the freedom to drive both on the road and since the trikes are ADA compliant, also in stores. Provides much needed mobility without losing the sense of adventure and cool factor. The sales and service team is knowledgeable and friendly.10/10. Recommend to everyone
I’ve actually never owned a trikeroo, my best friend used to work for the company and shorty after she was hired called me with a story about how Gina let some lazy guy go and he was writing bad reviews for them to get back at her. I’ve decided this company doesn’t deserve my good review so I’m changing it
Its a nice scooter to ride on asphalt or concrete. Not so great on grass with 2 people. The battery last many miles before needs charging. We haul it in a bay in our motorhome. As it is 160+lbs, it takes 2 people to load it. As it has to lay down, I have to remove the fenders as the rubber flaps and reflectors on the fenders get damaged. Broke the rear light fixture glass as I was not aware it would lay on it in the bay. It was easy to glue it back on.I had the Flyer-X for less than a year. During this time, I had to tighten severally screws after I found out that it lost one screw which I had to replace. Nowhere in the instructions is it noted to tighten screws. The switch to activate the horn is dead. Not that I ever needed it but its something which might be needed eventually. Contacted sales person to get a new one. Was told its not covered under warranty as it is a wear and tear item. How many times does it take to wear it out? I could get a new one for $28. No way. The warranty is worthless. Im done recommending this company. I know that several people bought the Flyer as I recommended it to them. But that was before I knew about the scam warranty. I never got compensated either. Done recommending.
Liz is a great salesperson with a positive outlook on life. She is very knowledgeable on the Trikaroo bikes. Liz was outstanding presenting Trikaroo bikes at the National African-American RV Association (NAARVA) Rally at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in May 2019. What an awesome person to sell Trikaroo bikes.
Amazing People with Awesome Products! What a pleasure to work with them in any and all capacities!
The team is highly knowledgeable and very friendly!
I have been searching for an answer to my fathers aging body. I spoke with the sales team over at Trikaroo and they were super helpful in helping me find a Scooter that would be the perfect fit for my father! They were able to answer all my questions and I couldn’t believe how easy and quick the scooters were to drive. My Dad definitely likes some speed, and there is no comparison with the Trikaroo scooter! Now I stead of falling my dad is flying. Thank you so much! I will be recommending Trikaroo to everyone I know
I attended the NAARVA Convention this week and had the distinct opportunity to meet Liz Grey. What a wonderful experience! Prior to meeting Liz, I had not heard of Trikaroo. I’m usually not an easy sale but, Liz made it fun and easy. I felt like she wasn’t just advertising a ‘product’ but, an ‘experience’. She was gentle and friendly in her approach, knowledgeable about her product and definitely engaging and easy to talk to. I hate pushy sales people and Liz was not pushy at all—she didn’t have to—after her demonstration, the product sold itself! She was thorough in explaining how the Trikaroo could be useful to meet a variety of individual needs. I will definitely recommend Liz to friends and family members who could use this product. Keep shining Liz. It was a joy meeting you!
So when I bought my trikaroo it was great 2 motors malfunctioned they replaced the trike with a better one. But I bought my trike in 2014 now I need parts and Apparently my trike is out of date they do not sell them anymore or have parts it was to bad so sad for me at this point I cannot Recommend them to anyone I’m willing to change this post if they help.
I Love Triaroo!! Its one of the best investments out there for ease of use and convenience. I am a disable army vet and the team went out of their way to help. THANKS Gina~ !
Liz Grey is an awesome rep for this company. She attended our Atlanta 2019 National African American RV Association (NAARVA) Regional Rally. As our guest and a vendor, Liz fit right into our activities and ensured that we all were oriented on the product. She hung out with us throughout the Rally and she allowed us to use the Triks for our opening ceremony parade. What an awesome piece of equipment. I want one! I guess I need to go negotiate with Liz!😅
Love my Trikaroo, And so does my husband who seems to ride it more than I do.
My dad is a Vietnam vet and a carpenter, meaning hes stubborn and nothing slows him down. Unfortunately this year, that nothing came in the form of 3 fractured ribs and a (even more so) bad back. He still tried to work and keep up with his house and 1 acre of land. My dad will suffer before hell allow himself to be pushed in a wheelchair to give his back a break. Trikaroo offers him the mobilIty without losing his independence. It offers him the option of not feeling like a burden on the people he loves - and thats a big deal for the man who lets nothing slow him down.
I purchased a Flyer X from Trikaroo 12/2/18 at the Sumter Car Show. When I got i home I took it for a ride on a paved road only to find that it had a bad wobble, surging brakes, and couldnt go over 9 miles per hour. I tried to call them within hours of buying it but didnt get a call back until a couple of days later only to be confronted in a heated discussion by the salesperson saying that they have a no return policy.I was shocked at the response as I had purchased a Boomer the year before and love it, which is why I bought the Flyer I like to go with a friend of mine to car swap meets and felt the Flyer X would be more convenient for transporting to and from. I only ride the Boomer at home as it is much more comfortable.I brought it to the next Sumter event only to have the motor/wheel stop working within an hour forcing me to push it all the way to the Trikaroo display. Trevor placed his hand on the wheel noting that it was extremely hot. After talking to the office he offered to bring to the shop to fix it under warranty.I asked to have the wobble, and brakes to be fix before returning it. I explained I only use it at Sumter so I was not in a rush. Trevor brought it to my house saying he had to replace the motor/wheel as it was defective and the wiring wasnt properly installed. So I tried it out only to find it still had the wobble and the brakes still surged. I asked him to take it back and have it fixed as I didnt need it until the next Sumter event. When he finally showed up I purchased a set of mirrors assuming all was well and I would bring it back to the next Sumter. I did not ride it again until the following Sumter event 3/3/19. I rode it for less than an hour when a it started to starting making a beeping sound. I remembered the Trevor had checked the rear wheel to see if it was hot so I also reached back only to practically burn my fingers. So I parked and and tried to find their booth only to find out they werent there. I waited 2 hours before bringing it back to the truck to take it home. Noting that even the wheel had cooled down but the beeping didnt stop unless I moved it and would starting beeping again when I slowed down and or stopped.I believe it is not the golf cart replacement as they claim. It is rated for 500 pounds, admittedly I weigh 260 but in any event it can not handle riding only grass for any length of time. My old Pride Scooter could easily handle that task. I waited thing long before placing the review hoping they would make it right. I am have a walking disability and have been left stranded both times I have tried to use it. I have less than 5 miles on it.It;s a shame that it has turned out this way.
This year at the FMCA RV Rally in Perry, Georgia, we thought it was just kind of comical to pose for a picture on a funny little battery scooter until...it wasnt! After Liz let us drive it around the rally a bit, it wasnt funny anymore...it was just...FUN!!! By the time we got back to the Trikaroo booth, my wife and I agreed that it was a keeper! Many of us were buzzing around Gina, the owner, who was eager to answer any questions that we had. That Flyer XL is perfect for us and the price was more reasonable than any golf cart we were considering, which would have required a trailer. We wanted to purchase it right then, but we couldnt get it home with our Winnebago View. Gina, the owner, went over and above and offered to bring it back to Florida where we picked it up a few days later. Because it can fold up, it is ideal for a smaller motorhome. We are budgeting for an electric hitch mount for our RV and will keep an eye out for what Trikaroo offers this fall for smaller motorhomes.Update: Gina is working with us to try out their new hitch mount platform for us smaller RVs...cant wait to try it out!
We love the scooter and the business plan. Get yours today.
Wanna work and not get paid? Gina Garcia Is NPRs Latest Scam Artist. Reporting my wages to the labor board, anyone reading this be warned. The triks come straight from China nothing is built in the quote USA as advertised.
Great staff! Very helpful and informative.
Outstanding customer service.
We have had ours for three years, 😄 still LOVE it.
