Terrible service i went in there to buy a gibson i was gonna drop 5 thousand dallars but the guy was so dosrespectful that i left i didnt com here to be harrassed and i do not reccomend anyone visiting this store

Refused to restring my guitar because it had a thin fret board??? Other than requiring masks, this guy just needs to retire. Go somewhere else.

Mostly used equipment of all sort, thou many new accessories like strings and picks are available.Norton’s music shop has provided musical instruments for local schools and music teachers for over a decade. Gentleman who answered the phone was not very helpful when I asked for information regarding his left-handed guitar inventory. Almost felt I was annoying him regarding my inquiry. Look elsewhere for informative, helpful, and courteous customer service.

They have a lot of different and very interesting instruments that you dont see elsewhere. I have bought a handful of vintage horns, a vintage banjo, and a newer but used electric guitar Mr. Norton is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He is full of knowledge and really cool stories. I stop in most weeks for something or another.

Wow! I should have read reviews before even calling. The obviously old and bitter man who answered the phone needs some love in his life and or just needs to stop answering the phone! I called to see about prices on an instrument, of they did trades and or bought other instruments like a Violin we purchased while being stationed in Germany. He rudely told me I have violins laying on the floor a violin is worth about $39.00. I said I wished I had known that when we purchased ours from a beautiful Violin making business in the Bavarian Alps called Mittenwald where we paid over $400 . Realizing he was not interested in our violin, which is perfectly fine I asked him if he had any violins for sale in the store for the $39 he was speaking of because I would LOVE TO BUY SOME FOR THE LOCAL SCHOOLS AND DONATE TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES. I was really excited about the possibility. My son has played this beautiful instrument for years and I know it has absolutely brought him so much joy and pride and I would love to give another child the opportunity to feel how the Violin made my son feel since he was 9. He told me Im not interested on dealing with violins. I said I want to purchase some from you... I went to ask him his hours when he raised his voice and said Im not interested in violins they are... I then cut him off because I was on speaker phone and I didnt want my son to hear this old man speak anymore rudeness about an instrument my child loves and loved playing ( he out grew this one and now has a full size one)I may have been a tad bit rude when I told the man that he was either #1 lying about his ober abundance of worthless $39 violins lying on his floor or #2 He is just a rude mean bitter man who needs to retire and no longer deal with the public.He went to say well I am-- I assuming he was going to say he is retiring but I just wanted off the phone and told him I wished him much luck, wished him well and hoped he would see that speaking AT someone in his rude tone is not a positive way to run a business.I highly recommend not dealing with this place ESPECIALLY IF YOU LOVE THE ART OF MUSIC!!!

Come to find out this music shop has been a mainstay in the community for over 30 some years. All good stuff inside including the owner. Bought a variety of inexpensive instruments when I was there. He seems to have it all and is knowledgeable about the stuff too.

Bought a Pearl drum kit as a starter kit for my husband. Extremely helpful with the beginner 101 class for someone with no experience.

Bought a drum head higher prices but when your in a pinch for a drum head they have a good selection.Old guy was nice.

The owner was very rude and abrupt, treated us like we knew nothing about music. Then he passed gas, like we were not even standing beside him, which we were. What a joke!!
