Took my brand new 2021 Jeep Wrangler in for service and came out with multiple new scratches from their car wash. STAY AWAYAdditionally car was not ready when I came to pick it up even though I had spoke to them beforehand. Had to make a trip down the next day. Received car with missing engine cover. Had to go back again to retrieve it.Utter joke. If you valuable ur money and/or time pick any other place to have your vehicle serviced.

I have been to this location on 2 occasions since purchasing my fiat. Both times i had a great experience. This past week, the customer service lacked. The tones in which the service men spokeTo the male vs female customers were shown. Not fair and its 2021 in nyc. All genders deserve fair treatment. I also called several times between Friday and Tuesday, no one answered the phones. I had to show up in person. Just go to NJ!

They are honest and easy to deal with. They are a dealer so its a bit expensive, but they have always been honest to me - about 15 years. I dont like the salespeople at the dealership, but the service team is great.

Needed to scan my car to for the recalls or reset factory alarm picked up my car Friday sat had to replace powersteering pump did return my new remote or the old one didnt check another repair site to see if they could help waisted my time and gas not happy with the service

These guys are con artists. Not only did they give misleading information on the cost but they even lied about recommended services. After more research, I learned that most of the things they did are not recommended for my Jeep. Plus, even if I had these exact same services done at another Jeep dealership, the cost would have been less than half!DO YOUR RESEARCH AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

I honestly did not have a pleasant experience with Jeep Manhattan. It was very rushed and I felt unwelcome. My impression is always what I base my decisions on regarding coming back. The advisor was hurried, rude, crass and unfriendly. Not warm, just angry and intimidating. I had a 730 appt and left at 1030-1100am. And this is just for an oil change. No, thank you. Kindly take me out of your emails. Im going to find another dealer to get a new ride. I feel that now that NYC is back to normal, the rudeness of a lot of NYorkers never really left. It really doesn’t take a lot of effort to be respectful and kind, especially when you’re in a service-oriented place. It’s truly a shame.

This service station runs a scam business! On April 11, 2019, when my car was at 80,000 miles, my car engine began to overheat while I was driving to work, which smoke billowing out and everything. The engine temperature, check engine, and service throttle lights all turned on. The closest place I could take my car for repair was this service station. I took it here and the service department quoted me a price of $1717.21 for repairs. The repair was a new hose, new coolant, cleaning my engine of anti-freeze, and two new brake pads (which werent necessary but I elected to get them repaired...Im kicking myself for saying yes).Fast forward to April 25, 2019, when my car was at 81,000. My engine temperature light turned on and I was warned that the engine temperature was hot yet again. Except this time, there was no smoke. However, my check engine and service throttle lights turned on. Sure enough, I brought the car back to this service center, I spoke to Sean and told him how this should not be happening. He said dont worry, well take care of it. He called me that day and told me it was a sensor issue and he quoted me some absurd fee. When it was all said and done, I agreed to a $475 plus tax fee for repairs. Now Im in the hole $2,232.71 for repairing this car.This past Tuesday, May 21, Im driving home from work and what turns on? Ah yes, the engine temperature light turns on. For a THIRD time in the span of a month and a half, the same issue happened. No smoke but Im alerted of the issue. So I drive all the way back to the service center, I see that theyre closed, so I park my car on the street with plans to come back the next day. As I park my car on 11th Avenue near the service center, I discover a foreign object in the crevice of my hood. When I pop open the hood, I find a footlong pair of pliers, likely belonging to THIS scam service center.The next day, May 22, 2019, I go to the service center and ask to speak to Sean. I tell Sean that I REFUSE to pay a penny for this repair, including labor. I told him that I will file complaints with the BBB, Jeep/Mopar, and the NY State Attorney Generals Office (the BBB and Jeep complaints have been filed at the time of this report). I ask for a refund arising from my previous repairs of the car or else Im taking them to small claims court. Finally, I told him that I work for ABC News and I know that WABC 7 Eyewitness News would love to do a little expose on their business dealings. Sean told me he would call me back with an update the same day. Its been 24+ hours, you think I heard back? ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, ZIP!These people are CROOKS, they run a SHAM PRACTICE, and they messed with the wrong person to think that they could scam me! For your viewing pleasure, Im attaching images of the pliers that I found on my car as well as my dashboard when this engine overheating issue happened the THIRD TIME. This place is run by clowns who couldnt repair cars to save their lives!

My experience at CDJRF Manhattan was a pleasant one. I came in to have a few recalls fixed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee as well as a check engine light. Stephen helped me, he explained what they were going to do to my vehicle. I received calls and messages from Stephen with updates while my car was at the service center. Stephen also made sure to get my authorization before changing any parts on the vehicle. Car was ready the very next day. Overall, great customer service and I would recommend this service center for your Jeep!

Really bad experience. When there for a staring wheel problem that is cover by the insurance, and the guy suggested to do a 15k inspection. Ended up paying almost 800$ for things my car didnt needed and even though I told them I had just bought it less than a year. They still charged me for filters, oil change ect. Worst dealer ever!!! Never going back there again. They will not explain what they will do to the car, they just do it and charged you for it. Really regret going to this place!!

Absolutely avoid bringing your car to this place at all costs. Their business practices are shady at best, and the service agents are arrogantly defiant when they are called out on their misleading tactics. They denied an up front payment for an oil change and inspection in order to sneak in an undisclosed and arbitrary recommended mileage service package which costs $400+. When picking up the car, they refused to provide an itemized list of the services provided within this package, and repeatedly lied about their deceit throughout the process. In contesting this ridiculous charge, they brazenly asked for a positive review in exchange for a larger refund. Bring your car literally anywhere else.

Worst service I have ever experience in my life.They sold me a car and something wrong with it after 2 months. I took my car for service last week Monday. I have been very neglected. The service person Francis is not considerate either. Until now I havent received my car. It’s been more than a week without proper communication. I been walking in the cold and the snow and I’m still paying for this car.

First trip here. I am a former mechanic and am now in an unrelated sales field. Experience was a mixed bag...Pros:-Staff was very friendly; every single person from valet upon entry to exit with cashier. Thank you, all.-Admitted a mistake, apologized, and fixed the bill (serious props for taking responsibility here! This is where you earned stars!)-Responsive management-Clean waiting room (and shop)-Handled my concerns promptly and to satisfaction once brought upCons:-Poor communication-Multiple hours later than promised, even with confirmed appointment. No reason, no issues, just sloppy.-Bill was almost double the quote (they fixed it, thank you again).-Oil and grease on upholstery (real happy its leather, I was wearing jeans today, and I can clean it)-Outrageous prices. Warranty or insurance work only for me going forward. So many recalls on my Jeep no doubt Ill be sending it to somebody soon, but on Fiats dime.-Badly flawed CRM through website.

Stay away from this location they charged me over $800 for an oil change/tire rotation. Service should of been free according to my warranty. They are a professional fleece operation from the valets to the technicians. Con men and clowns without make-up. I will have to write FCA corporate and BBB about their practices.

Took my 16 Jeep renegade here last week to get serviced for an issue. Going into the center I wasn’t too sure based on the review but really needed the fix. I really don’t understand the negative reviews. My vehicle was fixed next day, it was a part they didn’t have, and they were so efficient. In total I spent 15 minutes max between drop off and pick up. Frank is the man, the service receptionist is going to be as nice to you as you are to her. She was nothing but pleasant with me on the phone. I was running late for my appointment and she gave me a straight answer about what time I need to be there before and tried to be helpful. Good stuff

I had an appointment. I was on time. Customer service didn’t even take my name, asked me what was wrong. Told me that I would be lucky to get the car back in a week. They were “backed up”. No loaner cars. Why make new appointments then? Waste of people’s time. Worth going to Long Island or New Jersey for service after reading other reviews. Worst dealership service center Ive ever been to. Avoid.

It seems the $285 diagnostic fee got lost somewhere in the other $1500 worth of worthless repairs they did.

Unfortunately dealership service centers will always get a bad rap and this one is no different.Only went in because I had a coupon for a oil change otherwise I would of steered clear.To their credit they opened up promptly at 730a, took my car in quickly and the valet was nice enough. The gentleman walking with a cane and appearing to be some kind of service manager was much less pleasant and could learn a lot about customer service.The advisor at the desk who processes the paper work recommended the “15000k mile service package” for $488. Which is usually just a oil change, filter change, rotation and multi point inspection. Idk how they were going to justify this price or what sort of unnecessary and overpriced services they were gonna suggest as part of it but I declined.And again to their credit there was no high pressure pitch or song and dance.Lastly, I picked up the car at end of business and there were no surprise charges or “needed” services sprang on me. It was ready and brought to me promptly so I give credit there.I will nit pick on a minor detail which just shows a decreased level of care in that my inspection sticker was sloppily removed and a new one replaced with the old glue still visible.

I had a light pop up on my 2013 Jeep indicating an issue with the sway bar. I bought the car from this dealership so I brought it in for their mechanics to look at it. Staff was very helpful, particularly Valentine helped us out and had someone look at the car within 2 hours of dropping it off. I was able to drop off the car, go to work, and he called up letting me know what the mechanics found and how much it would cost which was very efficient. I had a family member pick up my car with no issue. Thanks again, no issues since.

Ive been coming here for over five years . My old rep Bryan used to take care of me nice polite and the shop guys used to work. The price of an oil change,wash,new filter and a waste removal never cost me anything past 75 bucks. The new management is crazy an oil change and a wash alone was 124.01 ! I feel majorly ripped off . Also i was the very first one in the garage after them taking so long I go outside and find the car wash people playing around my car not doing NOTHING. Than when I got the rep to see whats going on they said they didnt know I was waiting. IF MY CAR IS IN YOUR STATION WHAT ELSE IS IT THERE FOR. AND IF YOU DID YOUR JOB YOU WOULD HAVE CHECKED YOUR PAPERWORK WHICH HAD MY SLIP ON TOP

I was in New York from Pennsylvania and my drivers side window was stuck down in my new Ram. It was 28° outside and I was 300 miles from home. I stopped in this shop and the guys were fantastic. They fixed my window and got me on my way home in no time. If your in New York and need service I highly recommend these guys. They are 1st class

Wish I had read the reviews first. My three year old car was showing signs of rust. I had originally purchased the vehicle there though under different ownership. I paid $15 to bring the car through the Lincoln Tunnel so the repair dept. could take pictures to submit to Jeep for warranty coverage. When I pulled in, the intake guy said the rust was my fault because I must be parking my car near the ocean (he knew nothing about me) I waited while the photos were taken and then was told Jeep would give an answer in about a week. After a week went by, I called three times for the status. My service rep was very rude to me and said dont call again that he would call when it was authorized. Three and half weeks I have yet to receive a callback. I am taking the car elsewhere which now sounds like a great decision.

Took my truck 3 times to file a claim for rust warranty. Each time pictures were lost, last visit service manager told me he wont do the warranty repair as rust warranty is very little money for them and to go somewhere else.I had that conversation recorded and If can just go somewhere else as they say.

I thought bringing my car to the dealer would fix my car. They Charged me over 3000 for an issue with my car starting. Problem kept happening I brought it back twice changed starter, battery etc. a week later I broke down on the highway brought it to a mechanic changed a $20 belt. They also gave me a laundry list of things wrong with my car which my regular mechanic told me I didn’t need. Including brakes, made up leaks that do not show when I park nor could my mechanic find. Do yourself a favor stay away from these swindlers. I have been a loyal Jeep owner for decades. Both this service place and the one in the Bronx are both terrible, how can you trust a company that does business this way.

Like most other reviewers, I would give this company zero stars if I could. This is the most fraudulent & negligent dealer in America. I took my car in for a check engine light and was told that the problem would be $5000 to fix. Cylinder head issue that isnt covered by Chrysler because its the right side vs. the left side. I chose to tow the car to another dealer in Orange County for a second opinion. When I attempted to get my car back, they insisted that I was unable to pick it up because they had taken it apart unbeknownst to me. It was supposed to be a simple diagnostic and they had zero authority to take the car apart. When I got my car back from Manhattan, the cars electronic system had been completely wiped out. Clock was wrong, settings were fully reset. I found this odd, but given the shady practices of this dealer wasnt surprised. We will come back to the electronic setting issue later. After towing, I come to find out that there wasnt ANYTHING wrong with the engine. NOTHING. NOT. ONE. SIGNLE. THING. The real issue discovered by a reputable dealer was a brake booster that was covered under warranty. The best part, I took the car into this dealer in Manhattan in January 2018 and they insisted nothing was wrong with the brakes and closed out the recall. I would almost guarantee they pocketed to money after telling their headquarters that the fixed the issue. The very thorough and honest dealer in Orange County saved me $5000. What they also discovered is that since Manhattan reset the electronic system, the audio doesnt work in my car anymore. Flashback to the settings being reset and out of the blue, my radio doesnt work. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD.

Unbelievable that these people are actually running a business. Today I simply needed an oil change, respond to my check engine light, and replace a headlight. After having refused to pay 200 plus dollars for a system diagnostic, they didnt do anything except change the oil. And that took several hours to do.Im never, ever, ever, never ever going back

Love the keep brand however the parts and service department is so backed up with delays as well as attitude it’s tough no matter how Convenient to go back here. They refused delivery of a part that was ordered 5 days prior to a repair shop downtown. I had to fetch it myself in traffic which wasted 1.5 hrs of my own time to bring it back downtown. Furious and highly recommend you look elsewhere for repairs...

Terrible! My rep, Michael was the biggest rip off artist ever and rude! I purchased my Jeep from them and with only 10,000 miles I already need two new rotors on my breaks and its not covered under warranty? Oh and $1,000 for two new rotors?!?! I told him thats crazy and can they do anything to lower the cost, to which he said no. He also never calls back, so I show up to the dealership and he is always just sitting there. The vehicle is also never ready on the day they promise. To top everything off he ends every interaction with Have a blessed day! My blessed day would be never to have to interact with this guy again. I will take my business elsewhere.

AVOID! I regret taking my business here. Don’t make the same mistake. Had my vehicle for 18 days! Recommended absurd maintenance work, much of which had been done recently. Contacted me on day I was to get my vehicle back and told me that they could not complete job unless I agreed to an additional service which would cost an additional $189 plus tax. AVOID!

This place does not even deserve one star. Do not go there!!!! Hidden charges, long long repair time and they do not even perform the service they claim to perform. My previous old FIAT had a transmission issue and I was towed there for repair. They took a day to figure what the issue was. They say they were going to take 1 day to repair. They kept telling me to come next day, and one day became 10 days because they could not remove one screw. They could just have told me that from the beginning. Repairing cost was higher than the price of the car and they did not even explain the repairs they did. I was unhappy with the car, anyways and I ended up trading the car for a semi-new fiat with only 10,000 miles. They supposedly performed a 200 point inspection, but obviously they did not because in a month of light driving I noticed several issues. As I did not trust them anymore, I took the car to a different authorized dealer shop. They noticed manufacturing defects and recalls that MOPART Manhattan NEVER performed. In addition, it had a horrible noise which ended up being the wheel bearing. You might be wondering why I did not returned the car, but the dealer did not register the car nor issued a title. It happened that they were filing for Chapter 11 because they owed a lot of money to the banks and they were trying to prevent them from taking all their assets and titles. So my car was in limbo, I was technically not the owner but I was already paying for it. Fortunately NY DMV is a decent institution and they helped me to get the registration and title, since I proved I was paying for the car and I had done everything correctly.

Scheduled an oil change a week in advance for today. At 9:30AM, the Service Center calls and cancels the appointment. Claiming they did not know who schedule me for 12PM because they only work until 10:30AM!!! When in Google it states they close at 5PM. As a Seasoned Auto Technician this is the 1st Service Center that exerts such level of negligence!!! What I believe that did happen was when they realized I had a full warranty with covered oil changed—they backed out last minute. I don’t recommend this Service Center to anyone and hope they get shut down due to discriminatory practices!!

Every time Im coming here I used to book earliest appointment, 7:30 am, ending giving me my car afternoon, always they giving the excuse that the computers shutting off, modifying my pick up time without notice and they said: I havent called you, yes!!! You havent but is my time for picking up. At that time service Work is 50% done and waiting time: one more hour in a new and less than a year jeep Grand Cherokee, for oil changed, inspection and a recall, taking half day to do that, this guy Brian Boyd, rough and trying to excuse himself saying that my pick up time is 1pm when was completely wrong, I will be more than hour later getting in to me destination for his irresponsibly manner and not communicate that my car service has been delayed for computer malfuction at their facilities. In the morning he was charming and nice, offering extra things, for extra money, of course, now waiting because Im in, no back steps. Cashier ladies, tha same, rough and lazy, seems like I am bothering them, with this sad face that isnt invite to talk to, I do not recommend buying this service from jeep, I was thinking I was paying for nice and first class service, you can get better service by your own at other better places where the customer service counts, save that money on your monthly payments, but who knows.

Not thrilled on this facility.Oil change was sloppy, smelled burning oil for 3 days.Warranty service of seat belt - still have yet to hear from them (been 6 weeks - is it coming from overseas?).Paid for preventative maintenance where they lube under the car to prevent rusting - this is a 2017 vehicle - rust? (for $300 - I am not sure why I agreed to that).So far, it has not been a good experience.

Unfortunately when dealing with both service locations, I was met with an incredible amount of attitude and unfortunately no help. It is a shame when you spend $30,000 on a vehicle that when getting your first service done you are met with attitude and no desire to help out the people whom have chosen your brand. Queens location seems to only service vehicles bought from their location while the Manhattan locations phone calls are being answered by an inept human being. I hope the jeep brand doesnt endorse collecting large sums of money from people one day and forget about them the next.

Dont go there!!! These guys are criminals. THE worst. They quoted me so much to remove a stuck nut on one of my wheels (on my jeep!!!). When I told them I didnt want it done because i felt it was way too much money to charge for a professional mechanic for a simple job like that, they still charged me $97 just for having looked at it. 54th Street Auto just up the block charged me a fraction and did a super job. I have had many other negative experiences at Manhattan Jeep.

Place deserves no stars..had my Grand Cherokee serviced there and they replaced a fuel pumb that worked for just 1 day and i was broken down again...car got there by breaking down in the middle of Lincoln Tunnel..this service dept put me in a dangerous position..they are neglegent and could careless...things leaking from bottom of truck after being serviced? i wouldnt bring a bicycle here to be fixed...morons

Absolute scam artists, do NOT GO HERE. Jeep had a broken GPS/Radio, they told me it was bc of an “aftermarket amp”, so it wasn’t covered by warranty, so i had to pay $300 just for a FAKE diagnosis. Took to a mechanic- there was no amp they made it up!! Brought it back and asked them to fix it since I caught them, which they did, paid another $100 and after an hour of back and forth they finally said they would refund me for the original fake diagnosis- I mean I would certainly hope so after I caught them ripping me off!! Has been 3 months now- no refund, and they are constantly “away from desk” and haven’t returned a single one of my 18 messages. Not to mention the receptionist and two service ppl are incredibly rude, they hang up on me and generally treat me like I’m a pain in the butt. Horrible horrible business. Save yourself.

I dropped off my Jeep a week ago and they just started working on it today. The service guys voicemail is always full so you cant even leave a message. Brought in to change my shifter. Thought it would be a couple of days but this is ridiculous. This place is open 7 days a week so I figured it would be done faster. Dont ever use this place.

I would give no stars if I could. These clowns are a bunch of liars and thieves. I went in with a gernaded rear axle that was just rebuilt by another dealership, Meadowlands of Carmel. I paid $1800 for the rebuild. Frank Shanley said that he was battling for me with Carmel but said they refused to honor the warranty. He made it seem like he was was really putting up a fight. In the meantime, Frank never called me once in the month that they had the jeep. He would also tell me hed call me back in 5 minutes but I wouldnt hear from him until I called him. He even claimed that they had Jeep representatives go there and denied the warranty. When I asked how much they wanted to fix the axle, he quoted me $2500 in parts alone, without labor. Who knows how much he would have charged for labor, at least another $1000. So, that would have been $3500 for a rebuilt axle that I paid $1800 for at Carmel. I could buy a brand new gernade proof axle for that. As an added insult he told me that I needed a new clutch for $1800 without labor. It was only low on fluid. After he told me the reps denied the warranty, I thought something was really weird so I called Meadowlands myself. They were shocked that my Jeep wasnt done. They told me Frank Shanley called them 1 time to ask how to handle a warranty, that he didnt know how the process went. They told him and that was the last they heard from him. After hearing that the Jeep was still in limbo at Mopar Manhattan they told me that they would send a truck to go get it for free. When I called Frank to tell him to release the Jeep, he got angry and told me that he would charge me $100 a day for storage. Joe and Derrik at Carmel had my Jeep back in Carmel that day and on the road in a week free of charge because it WAS under warranty. When I told the manager of Mopar Manhattan, Brian Suruj, my story, he was disinterested. When I said that I wanted a CSI Survey, he tried to tell me that I had to get it from corporate. Its a lie. The dealer issues them. He refused to send me one. A CSI Survey is how companies like JD Powell judges dealerships and gives awards and plaques to them. They are usually pretty important to the dealerships. You will notice that this place has not a one of these awards. Do not go to this place. Go anywhere else but here. I have to believe that whoever rates this place over one star either works there or is related to someone who works there. Again, they are thieves and liars. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau next and then Ill be reporting on the Jeep Forums.

Horrible everything. All they do is take your money and dont fix anything. They diagnose your car with some bogus problem, keep your car for days then when you get it back, 2 days later you have to take it right back for the same problem they supposedly fixed. They deserve no stars.

I dropped off my jeep and asked for them to rotate tires. (Thinking 50bucks) They decided to charge me 189.00 without tax to rotate the tires saying that they always charge the additional fees to rebalance the tires and have to clean the breaks. What a scamShame on me I went back 10-1-2021 to get my oil changed and rotate my my tires. This time I marked my tires and after they charged me and insisted they did I showed them the markings the tires were not rotated.

I went there for first service which is 500 dollars to flush fluids and rotate tires and stuff like that, my rims were dust dirty and when you remove the tires you gonna leave some hand marks or finger prints,, nothing so i called my service guy . he just told me bring the jeep back and wii do it, had to go back again and the then did it . and charge me for it not done it . so for some one who doesnt know that he would pay for nothing . Rip offs .REALY SAD!!!
