Amazing little warehouse filled with beer from all over the world. Youll find awesome domestic beers as well, plus a huge selection of ciders. Plenty of crafts and and also macrobrews from places you may have never visited. A good stop for all beer lovers, maybe the best in they city. Competitive prices throughout.
A very large selection of bottles sold in an old warehouse. Most of them are American, but there are dedicated sections for the rest of the world too. A lot are the same craft beers youll see in any bottle shop/super market in the city, but if you dig deeper you can find some interesting stuff. Ive read complaints about how the beer is stored, but never had any issues with the ones Ive bought. Prices are slightly lower than outer bottle shops in the area.
I love the fact that high-quality beer stores are starting to pop-up all over the place, but theres something special about the 100% no-frills New Beer Distributors. Their selection blows any other place Ive been out of the water, and the employees are knowledgeable and helpful.Sure its a garage with metal racks and a teller behind bulletproof glass, but thats what makes it awesome. If youre a beer snob, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.The hours are a little limited, so be sure to double-check to see if theyre open before you stop by.
Phenomenal selection of domestic craft beer along with Imports. Can by singles and mixed packs. A few cold items but mostly on the shelves. Worth the trip!
The boom diggity.Has great selection and a great vibe. So classic, its like dirty but the beers are so cool and interesting, so its a really cool combo. Also, they have cold beer, if you are craving, but most of the beer is at a room temperature.
Unmatched selection. Price is pretty good too. Unfortunately as a wholesaler there isnt much in the fridge so you cant go hear right before you plan to drink.
Ive been to many stores to buy beer and this is by far my favorite. Definitely one of those places where you cant judge a book by its cover. The outside is nothing special but with great service and a big variety of beers, New Beer Distributors is a hidden gem in NYC. I love this place and it wouldve been a perfect five-star rating if this store didnt close so early. Overall, this is a great place to buy beer.
Wow. As someone who goes on a beer run once or twice a month, this place has just become my new go to. Their selection is almost twice that of the Bowery Whole Foods and they let you mix and match bottles. Great folks that run it too. Will definitely be going here from now on.
After a recent trip to Houston, Texas where it was almost impossible to buy individual bottles or cans of good beer in shops, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by this place. Not only was the selection must vaster than expected and I was able to get many of the beers that have been on my wish list for some time (sixpoint, ballast point, 21st amendment to name a few) but you can pick and mix to your hearts content. Reasonably priced too. Friendly staff, so glad I went for this over whole foods, will be back here every time Im in Manhattan now, brilliant find
Great selection of both American and imported beer. Buy in sixpacks or singles. Nice helpful staff!
Bought a few big Belgian beers and a couple had skunked in the bottle. Absolutely refused to exchange or return. Super disappointing, any respectable shop wouldve returned without hassle.
They have everything. Create-your-own six packs are worth the trip alone. If you have a favorite thats hard to find, they probably sell it.
Whenever Im in the area, I almost certainly find myself buying a bottle or four from this place. People are super friendly and there is a nice selection. I wouldnt say that the beer is stored perfectly, but thats something that I can overlook as I spend half an hour sifting through their stock of hundreds of types of beer. Also, if you look around, you can find some nice gems. Once I found a Pennichuck Pozharnik just sitting there on the top shelf, long after the brewery had closed. If youre not familiar with this beer, it was an Imperial Stout that ages very well. And the one that I had went into my tummy. Now there are no more.
Amazing warehouse filled with beers from all over the world, and lots of interesting domestic craft beers. What a find!
Cheaper to order online. Only good for speciality beers.
Everything you can think of. If you want to get a keg get your own tap
The largest collection of imported and craft beers in all of nyc. A shame its going to close shop soon
Great selection that you can pick and build your own pack, to an extent.
Best beer store in Manhattan. They used to sit on cases and put really rare beers out sporadically, but now they price bottles a little bit more in line with demand.
Totaly Amazing Place if you are interested in quality american beer.
Huge selection of beers and good prices.
Despite the Wholefoods down the street with their huge beer department, this quiet unassuming warehouse-open-to-the-public is probably the best place in town to buy beer (and cider). They have hundreds of beers, organized by country and its usually at a fraction of the cost compared to your supermarket. Odds are good, that that amazing ale you had on vacation in Europe (Im looking at you Duchese de Bourgogne :-) can be found here. They dont stay open late but they are open 6 days a week.
Bought superbowl 50 budlight got bud fila soccer bullshit
The beer selection at this place is absolutely amazing.
This is the best beer store on the planet. Period.
They have even rare beers. i wish they had a bit more liberal opening hours though.
Two words: Beer Heaven.
Good prices. Wide variety of American and imported beers.
