I have been using them for over 8 years and they have ALWAYS been there when i needed them most! I have some 8000.00 lenses that are vintage and needed no longer manufactured mounts to keep them operational...and I could only find them here.I 100% support this company and big Kudos to Mr. Paul...he is on his game and makes my photo needs a reality.Keep up the amazing professionalism and service!
The place is nice and the staff is friendly, but they only repair photo cameras, and dont work with video equipment. I wish they told me that over the phone when I called ahead, so I wouldnt need to come in person with the camera just to learn it.
If you have a problem with your camera, I recommend you visit Chrysler Camera Repair. Had to have my mirror replaced on my Canon camera. Its operating like a brand new camera...
I sent my Canon 24-70 mm to repair the err 01 issue, fixed it and cleaned it as well. Get it back in 2 weeks. Highly recommend.
Ive had work done on my cameras and lenses here over the last 10 years. I couldnt be happier with these guys. High quality, certified work at better rates than anywhere ive been able to find.
Take your gear here! chrysler does reliable & fast cleanings/repairs. top notch.
Good service, got my a7iii repaired in top notch shape in under a week. Staff was helpful and courteous. Wish it was easier to get to/park nearby, but thats the city for you not their fault.
So I accidentally opened my camera on a rooftop in New York and bit of rain water blew in and landed on the sensor, understandably I was annoyed but none the less, marched down to these guys and they took care of my camera with no fuss. I was dealt with professionally and quickly - and collected my camera with a freshly clean sensor the next morning at 9am. Thanks again guys.
Definitely trustworthy and knowledgeable. Just bring your gear, no matter how old or new and they would take a look at it. Sometimes you might need to leave it there for a day or so for an estimate of repair. If the job is fixable, it will be fix with a warranty, usually a year after the job is completed. And the gear would be as good as new, sometimes looks as good new too. Located just across the street from B&H.
Always come here for my camera repairs. Very good repairs and very honest people. Highly recommend.
Second time using Chrysler Camera repair. 1st time e the fixed my 100-400mm lens and did great job. This time my Eos 1Dx just went completely dead. Main Board replaced and camera is working perfectly now. Fast service, quality work.
I had a minor issue. The multi control button fell off. I just wanted them to put back on. But they decided to lie to me saying it cost a $105.00 To take the camera completely apart and put it back together over a plastic button that is attached from the outside. So I went home and fixed it myself later that day. Technician is a liar. Be careful. They over exaggerate what is really wrong. Just hustling stupid people for easy money.
Professional camera repair service at the fraction of cost. High quality service. Must try, you will be happy. Save money.
Great experience. Had all of my cameras repaired and my broken 16-35 lens. Much cheaper than canon. Received my equipment relatively fast.
Back in October, i had damaged my L series 24-105mm, I found this place online and the reviews were good. i went there, they told me what was wrong and fixed at a good price. Shortly after i purchased a 28-70mm 2.8 L from this place and the lens was in excellent condition and works lovely! Highly recommend this place to anyone!
My screen on my samsung galaxy s3 shattered and the touchscreen was disabled. Because my phone was locked due to my password requirement, I could not access the contents of the phone. Verizon wireless couldnt do anything, but CPR did. they replaced the screen with another one and was able to unlock the phone and transfer all of my old contacts, pictures/video, and text messages onto my new phone.CPR saved the day, I thought all of my valuable data was lost. I will back up my data from now on. I would definitely recommend CPR to anyone who has a shattered screen and want to get their data off their phone. Hope this helps.
I had my Nikon D810 cleaned at B&Hs OPTIC conference, where Photo Techs guys were on site doing discounted sensor cleanings. I was already overdue for a cleaning and having dealt with these guys a few times already I figured $40 was a steal compared to the usual $75 to clean an FX sensor.Wrong. Got the camera back, didnt have a reason to check it before leaving the conference and wasnt able to shoot it for 10 days, only to find dust and spots on the sensor that were appearing in my images despite the camera sitting in my bag, at home, with the body cap on, for nearly two weeks.Long story short, exchanged a few emails with the guys at Photo Tech and not only got my sensor re-cleaned on the arm, but was also refunded the amount I paid at OPTIC. I cant complain about that, maybe the guy doing cleanings at the conference was overwhelmed by all the gear he had to clean in such a short time. What matters is Photo Tech made it right and then some. The same body needs a top cover replacement and I know where Ill be taking it.
This is the only place I service/repair all my pro equipment. They work with both Adorama and BH extended warranties and the process is always smooth
PhotoTech repaired my Sony 70-400mm after a serious AF issue has developed. A few days after the first repair something went wrong and PhotoTech stood by their word and supported their work. It may have taken two shots to get my lens back in order but the staff was understanding and easy to talk to. When I took it home for the second time.it was operating like it was new in box. I would recommend anybody to this business.
Great quality of service on a dslr. Prices were fair and turnaround was quick. Would go back.
Dropped off my Nikon D80 with a battery in it, picked it up without one. They claim I never left it, so I cant test their cleaning job until I get a new one.
