I’ve been meaning to write this review for months. Anthony and his team were so wonderfully accommodating and dependable! Back in October 2020, I looked for dry ice providers and went to locations that advertised they were open, but when I got there, they were not. I was traveling the next day, moving to another location to ride out the pandemic, and needed to ensure my food was fresh. I called Anthony and he said that “if you can get here early in the morning before we start rounds, I’ll take care of you.” I came with my car fully packed for travel and he ensured that everything was perfect for the 4 hour drive. They were all so very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help all they could. I greatly appreciate this kind of customer service. It’s a rarity these days. Stay safe guys!

Wow! Anthony and his team are wonderful. We lost our heat last Thurs. The repair people could not find the right part. And, NYC is going through quite a cold snap. Anthony told us where to find wood quickly in the city at a deli he serves and then he and his guys loaded up their truck--and added some extra wood in case we needed it. The entire time he checked up on us. We are still without heat but weve got wood for our fireplace now and thats whats keeping us warm for the next few days, including a coming snowstorm. Armato gets back to you right away, charges a fair price and the team is so kind! Highly recommend!

Anthony is so helpful! I have a small fire pit on my rooftop and knew it would be out of their way to deliver several bundles that I didn’t have room to store. Anthony, owner of Armato Ice, truly brought back my belief that white glove service, top notch professionalism and overall desire to help a customer solve a challenge by going well above and beyond, still exists.COMMUNICATIONS - As a potential retail (not wholesale) customer, Anthony replied to all my emails, as I sought to figure out how to get frozen food from point A to point B - a 5 day car drive in the summer. He never dropped the ball, was extremely responsive and provided details of the type and amount of dry ice I needed to solve my challenge.TEAMWORK - Anthony worked with me to figure out what I needed, how I needed to pack the frozen food in the coolers to ensure optimal (longest lasting) benefit of the dry ice. We coordinated his routine of being at his uptown warehouse, with my need to leave the city early, for an early morning pick-up.DEPENDABILITY, TRANSPARENCY AND INTEGRITY - I cant say enough. In this day and age of ghosting, cutting corners, overpromising, surprise charges or purchases that fall short of expectations, Anthony was adamant about not overpromising what he could delivery during a pandemic, post-hurricane, and more. He underpromised and overdelivered. It was an amazing customer experience.PRODUCT AND SERVICE - Anthony and team were waiting for me uptown, and packed my coolers with dry ice and proceeded to wrap them tightly closed with plastic wrap so the ice would last longer. He and his team were kind, professional and fun during what could have been a small transaction.RESULTS - After a 5 day cross-country drive (Labor Day weekend - which means it was hot), my food arrived still frozen and in great condition. See photos. Im not sure this would have been the case, had the extra precautions not been taken.Go with Armato Ice. You will be in great hands. My purchase was small and I was treated as though I was a long-standing important/large customer. Anthony is about building relationships with all who cross his path, which will pay off in spades. I will use Armato again without hesitation, and will recommend to family and friends. He runs a great operation. Do not hesitate to give him your business.

This is a great service and we were very pleased. Tony was friendly, informative and responsive. The delivery guys arrived right on time, were patient, and placed the wood exactly where we requested. And the quality of the firewood is top-notch, kiln dried, burns evenly and smells great!

The owners are well helpful..aways on time they ice ..have different type of ice and the firewood A1 kilm dry..no chemicals ..definitely i canday this guys are welcome to give them my business

Literally the greatest service of all time!! Not only did they hand deliver me dry ice before my flight (I called 24hrs before the flight too 🤦‍♀️) but they helped pack my bag with breast milk too!! Best service and super knowledgeable on how to travel with breastmilk!!!

This past Monday My refrigerator broke and I needed dry ice to store my food. I found them on google and went to their location. I was a walk up customer but didn’t realize I needed to make an appointment. But they took very good care of me even though I did have an appointment. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to save all my food. Well use again! Thx guys!

Armato Ice is just the best!!! If i could give them 10 stars i would. Their customer service is great. When you call them, there is always someone on the other end of the phone ready to help and knowledgeable of all their products.We order from Armato Ice year after year and they never disappoint. The quality is always consistent and delivery is always on time. Without their dry ice our Halloween parties wouldnt be half as spectacular.We will certainly order from them for any future projects.

Found this place by browsing google . They responded quickly, customer service was top tier . They kept in contact and were transparent. Pricing is definitely fair, and delivery service was prompt . If I could give more stars I would . Did I mention they were so friendly and helped me find out how much dry ice I needed . This made my whole experience a lot better . My fridge stopped working on Friday afternoon, July 24th and I couldn’t get anyone to attempt a repair until Monday. I called Armato on Saturday morning explained my problem and Tony delivered enough dry ice on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to keep my fridge and freezer cold until I got a fridge on Wednesday.After I explained my predicament Tony’s first words were “don’t worry I can help” and he did without hesitation. He delivered the dry ice and told me how to use it. He even gave me advice on looking for another fridge.Armato was like having a knight in shining armor I am thrilled to have found them and to recommend them.

I just spoke on the phone with this company, and while they were not able to fulfill my needs, they were incredibly helpful and friendly. Rarely have I received such excellent customer service, especially considering that I wasnt even a paying customer. I cannot imagine anyone having a negative experience with this company.

OK, so you shouldnt count on service QUITE as good as I got today, but their truck was at my door within 5 minutes of my call. (They were in the truck, in the area.) I called because our fridge went out this morning. These guys were great. Very friendly on the phone, quoted me $50 for 25 lbs of dry ice but gave me 37 lbs (I weighed it), gave advice on how to protect our food. Just great all around. Id definitely go to them again... but hope I dont need to...

I called late one night and left a message and immediately Tony texted me and answered all of my questions and I placed an order through him. They were extremely kind. The delivery was great. He called me when he was near and they came in a truck and gave me the dry ice. The delivery was extremely prompt. I would recommend Armato to anybody looking for dry ice, ice, or firewood.

I was in need of dry ice since my fridge broke. I bought regular ice which cooled down my fridge interior but leaked water onto my floor overnight. So I decided to try to score some dry ice. I called and spoke to Tony, the owner of Armato Dry Ice and Firewood, at 830am on a Sunday morning and 30 lbs was delivered by noon. #Winning!!! Did I mention that it was delivered in the middle of an NYC heatwave. In August. On a Sunday. I got a little nervous since delivery was promised to me by noon, so I called Tony at 1145am. While I was on the phone with Tony to check where the delivery was, Tony replied, Give me five minutes to check but I heard my delivery guy just made it to your neighborhood. While I was on the phone, the delivery showed up. Tony said, Dont worry! I got you covered! BTW, I had called a different dry ice company but the sales guy was much more brusque. In summary: 1) Free delivery (subject to minimum order size) in Manhattan. 2) Great customer service.

Armato Ice is the absolute best! They provide top-notch service, deliveries on time and great customer service! Whenever I call I always know that I will be greeted by a friendly voice. In all honesty, I would not go anywhere else for dry ice! Deliveries small and large are treated with care and the Armato team is the best around!

Just used these guys when our company put on an event in Manhattan. They were fantastic, they delivered early, have great prices and came right away when I needed more ice. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone that needs ice in nyc

Anthony was awesome! He walked me through the process for packaging and traveling with breast milk which no one else had been able to do including UPS! I made it home with the goods (i.e. liquid gold) safe and sound thanks to Armato Ice. Definitely recommend!!

Dry ice SUPER HEREOS. Called late evening because my walk in box went down. My thermostat was indicating we were in big trouble. The gentleman I spoke with was super polite and helpful. Reccomended the correct amount. In 1 hour and 20 minutes we had 250lbs of dry ice delivered @11pm at night. He came inside and placed the dry ice inside the walk in and saved over 8k in food products for me. Eternally grateful. Thank You -Angel
