The service is timely, yet the amenities are better; with food and drinks, along with simply it just being a nice place to hang out and meet new friends. Oh but the anxiety I had prior to arriving at Apple care Grand Central was horrid!!!As soon as I was directed to the Genius Bar I had a lovely gentleman Jake approach me to assist with a phone issue I was experiencing. Jake assured me he would take care of me as he ran tests, diagnostics and truly went out his way to solve my issue right then and there. Unfortunately, due my exceptional timing (7:45pm) he mentally prepared me and advised to come back the following morning if and when I was ready to drop of my phone. I’ve never felt such great customer care. If you’re out there Jake, you are so wonderful thank you!Now as far as getting my phone back, the following day I was redirected to Mr. Luis. My oh my! I nearly caught a heart attack when I was told my phone battery almost exploded. It was unfortunate saying goodbye to my old phone but when Luis smiled and handed me the new one it was an instant feeling of gratification. As I Sat there and thanked Luis, i noticed how the rest of the team was very attentive to each client.Whether one is browsing, or picking up an item, Apple care-Grand Central has a phenomenal 2021 summer/fall squad ! I definitely recommend this store to anyone who wants a remarkable and professional experience. Thank you 😊
The staff are super helpful and friendly. I didn’t have to wait very long during my appointment for the Genius Bar and I got my issue resolved. If you’re headed to the Genius Bar, you definitely need to schedule an appointment online or by calling apple first. Plus, the Apple store in located in one of the most scenic stations in the country. If you look up, you’ll see the constellation paintings which is quite gorgeous.
You have to set up an appointment to go to this location. They dont have all the device they advertise in store so theyll probably refer you to their website if youre interested in purchasing a customized device.Customer service experience was initially terrible but then my Tech service representative was switched and then he was able to help me fix my device to the best of his abilities but not to my satisfaction. Stunning architecture of this main Midtown East Train Station, aka Grand Central Terminal. A ton of eateries for every palette. You can also access local subway Metro, lines: 4,5,6 and S- crosstown shuttle.
I typically dread going to the Apple store but I had a WONDERFUL experience today that completely changed my perspective. I will continue to choose this store as my Apple store due to it’s convenience of location, friendliness and eagerness of staff to assist, and commitment to serving its customers. I was able to make a same-day appointment and I came in with an issue on my iPhone, where I thought I’d lose everything and Louisa was able to fix it with no missing data. So thankful for her and her ability to keep me calm with low stress all while fixing my phone - THANK YOU!
My brand new MacBook Air M1 was not turning on at all after only having it less than a year. The techs at the Genius Bar were very nice and explained what they were doing as they worked. Unfortunately the laptop had to be sent to a repair center - which was covered. The repair center fixed it up in less than 2 days and I got it back good as new. Great location! They work fast and are all super nice.
Worst Apple Store ever! They are not professional at all, rude employees, unhelpful and it applies up to the manager of this place! Tip: leave you personal thoughts and life outside of your job !! Inside the store you’re a Apple employee

Long story short, Apple store needs to communicate better with their staff answering the phone. I’ve wasted my time when i was told one thing (a simple question) on the phone but got a different answer at the store. Be better.

I ordered a phone with same day delivery. They use uber eats for delivery. The uber service couldnt find the address even though I confirmed it was written properly. After calling 4 times and waiting about 10 mins each time they told me the order was canceled and I would have to reorder. My money wont be refunded for 4-5 business days. I wasnt given the option of picking it up in person as it is against policy. The apple site has a function to track the phone. This said it was delivered but when you click on tracking it says it was canceled. You can see the address in the photo. It is a retail location that is open to the public. We receive packages everyday from amazon, ups, fedex and others without an issue.
Of all of the apple stores, this one is by far the worst. Terrible experience as a shopper and buyer vs the UES, UWS, Fifth Ave and SoHo.The employees were all unhelpful, miserable, unfriendly and inattentive.
APPLE STORE GRAND CENTRAL STATION, my worst experience ever:When I bought my phone they were really nice (good selling). After that, all my visits to this store were one worst than the other one. My last visit (today 09/19/21) was awful. It seems that nobody care about you unless you need to buy something. I’m impress of how you can’t solve such an easy problem like a battery replacement (even that I had an appointment to change it). DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE

Very poor customer experience. Last year I came here to replace a battery, they gave me my phone back saying it’d been replaced. I looked in battery info(health status) right away, it was the same before the “replacement”. I told the staff that the battery into says it’s still the old battery. They said, it might take some time to get updated and the battery is definitely replaced. I trusted them, of course it never updated to a “new battery status” because they didn’t actually replaced it after a booked appointment and an hour wait. Everyone literally lied to me that time. Fortunately they were able to fix that issue, made me to visit them again and actually replace the battery, I checked it was 100% health right away.
Fast and efficient place. Great location. Apple is taking over the world and they are taling ovet NYC. This is the first time in the history of Grand Central Station that a company established their store on this balcony.
Awesome experience too check out at least once the walls were beautiful and the place was like gold its a place you gotta go too at least once.

Staff here is awesome! Not to mention the store is in the heart of the historic Grand Central Station!I’ve been to a bunch of Apple stores but this one is my favorite because I get to see lots of interesting people cross the main hall in order to catch the next train to their destination - so waiting in line for my appointment can be mildly entertaining ;) plus did I mention the staff is awesome?? ;P
Went in the morning to purchase a Mac Air. It was great because it wasn’t busy but even better that it was restricted to only shoppers who actually want to shop (I guess because of Covid?). Nonetheless, not overcrowded with people aimlessly wandering inside and the sales rep were on top with customer service— felt very personalized!

Around 5:20pm before I get on the train. I stopped by the 2nd floor of the Apple store.The guy at reception told me Apple Pencil 1st generation did work with old model iPad. He even didn’t look at my iPad. Very bad service.There weren’t lots of people that time.

JD the SUPER RUDE ARROGANT staff at apple grand central location was having serious issues and was showing big bad attitude and rudeness to me and he was telling me I was rude.I was trying to explain him about my phone problems rather understanding he was going way different way.That JD was behaving that he was the owner of apple store. My god what a worst and horrible person he was.I told him I was here before 4 months back for same issues rather looking into the appointment history he was arguing and not listening..then I had to call his manager Nick he was super excellent n very helpful..Even Candice the supervisor at same location rather she listing to me she was same person like JD.What was the problem with the people.. Wildest night of my life! I went to buy the new iPhone 3XS and I ended up with a new best friend! As soon as I walked in my eye was drawn to the beautiful aquarium exhibit to show off the waterproofing on the new Mac pro. They had mac pro towers floating around the water, and of course a couple of great whites! A kind employee quickly led me to the iPhones, where I looked over all the colors of the 3XS. The Eye of Jarvu The Overlord Yellow was really quite stunning. After swiping around on the 666hz display and comparing prices, I was ready to go make my purchase. However, as I was walking I slipped and the phone flew out of my hand. The new self defence feature activate, and razor sharp blades emerged from the device as it flew directly into the aquarium glass. Terror filled my soul as I watched a crack spread out from the phone, shattering the glass. Water rushed into the store and out to the floor of Grand Central. People screamed as the sharks flopped about. One of the smaller sharks came my way. I thought I was done for! And yet rather than gnawing on my leg, the shark began talking! Turns out it was just a marine biologist who was disguised as a shark to study them. To her dismay, she was scooped up to be put in the Apple exhibit. By dropping my phone I had freed her. She was a very kind lady and we went out for drinks! And that is how I met your mother.
Grand place. It is big and spacious for more people to check the mobile.
Never never come ro this store for any repairs. They dont have enough technicians. You will be there for ages without getting anything fixed. Especially the black supervisor is the worst! Walk away!

If you have a problem with your Apple or wish to purchase this is the place to go. It is conveniently located and has long hours. 7am to 9pm weekdays and 9am to 7pm on weekends. They are very helpful to explain the workings of your Apple products and there are many customer reps available. It is also a chance to try out the new products and check on those how are predicting new products. It is highly recommended.

Such a nice place. Out of all the apple stores I would say this is the best one. It is in such a central location that you would think it would always be packed with people. And it very much is, but by the way that staff handles the pressure and people you would think they are there just for you.
Hi this place is wonderful the Apple store is like up it’s in the hall with all the desks and it’s very nice feel like it’s open everything is open it’s not like it closed shop the whole area is Apple store that is open so it’s nice and view the top view is so good it looks like the sky but it’s not it’s covered.They have a lot of phones, tablets, Macs headphones wireless chargers and all accessories for you to check and choose.
Such an amazing iconic store great set up and the crew there are amazing especially Michelle she was so helpful with trade in and purchase of my new iPad. All of the crew are so friendly and helpful I booked a reservation for shopping and was there nice and early. Everyone follow social distancing and follows all the correct procedures with regards to the new norm. I was in the store no more than 10 to 15 mins and everything done Michelle you were a star and your knowledge on products and advice was outstanding so thank you

I went to the Apple Grand Center store last week. The staff there is very helpful. I mistakenly made an appointment at another time but they immediately arranged for me to have another new appointment. I had a battery problem with my mobile, they installed a new battery very quickly. I am very happy with their service.
Incredibly beautiful building. East side Manhattan hub for subway and suburban trains. MTA and Metro North. When in the main terminal check out the vast ceiling.
This location is pretty unique and in one of the iconic places in Manhattan. I got my new iPhone trade in here. Love the new Apple iPhones.

Apple stores always impress me but this Grand Central location is breath taking. Under the beauty of those ceilings and size and layout of the Apple store. You can stay for hours and not want to leave. Customer service is great, even with so much going on around you. You still feel individually catered to.
I gave them my earphones to check and they gave me a new one.

Once you get past the fact that is is probably the busiest Apple store in the world, it’s a great experience.The staff is kind and helpful based on my several experiences. The location is super convenient to get to being in Grand Central. They always have inventory in stock and a ton of samples to play with while you wait.If you are impatient or hate lines or dislike tourists, this location probably is not for you.

So yesterday I upgraded my cellphone from iPhone 6 Plus to iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’m not happy with it. The videos on YouTube, content in facebook and other apps look blurred. It feels more like an Android phone than an Apple. Now I found out that the display they used on this new iphones is OLED. On iphones 6 they used LCD display. I think it might be that. But don’t know!The pictures taken on this new iPhone might look good, but the overall quality of the content in other apps doesn’t look neat. I see the difference and feel that my iphone 6 Plus provided a neater quality of the view on apps, of videos, statuses, video calls, profile pictures in chats, etc!Plus that it is really heavy phone and not to mention the cost! Not at all very impressed with this phone but the total opposite, I’m kind of disappointed. The cameras might save it from me return it.

1. effective sale strategy - Because of covid19, I cannot book a shopping section online, so I assumed I can go to the store, get in line and wait to be served. I went to few stores nearby my place but they said I need to book a section with them and come back in next 4-6hours or next day??! why would I do this? do u want to sell your product or not? so eventually I tried this location, they asked what do I want, then reserve it immediately if the product is in stock, and I can proceed to pay for it. Deal is done, very effective!So whoever in charge of sale, perhaps he/she should look into the way they operate. After 2-3 months, the newly introduced products will no longer be hot and trendy, then price reduced...why did not all stores focus to sale when it was first released?2. I made some purchases on multiple trips and met different sale teams. Some are very competence with the product, but some do not know their product or services and provided me with nonsense solution. For one occasion dealing with sale team, I though I went to a grocery store, and not an advanced technology store.
