If you dont have cash they wont do your job! No buttons hole. Also no one picks there masks on. That older lady doesnt wear a mask and two ladies keep putting them down.

Really terrible customer service. I’ve walked in there twice to try and get something embroidered and both times the people behind the counter did not even attempt to help and kept doing what they were doing. There is another shop right on 38th street - 3G trimming, that was really helpful and the embroidery work I had done came out beautiful.

I was unimpressed with this place. There seems be no organization. They got the job done but I had to leave and come back an hour later despite me showing up on time. I think there should be some kind of pricing available to see ahead of time because I’m pretty sure she made it up on the spot. She also had very little sense of good customer service. I’ll go somewhere else next time if I can help it

Last week I brought two jackets for keyholes buttonholes. One jacket was a chore coat with an extra wide front placket and I had marked the specific placement of each buttonhole (centered) in thread, through and through the placket. The other jacket was a denim jacket with a typical button placket width which I had marked with chalk. I also brought the buttons and spoke to the machine operator who confirmed my placements verbally and then asked me to leave and come back in 15 minutes. When I returned, the chore coat buttonholes where completely in the wrong place, close to the edge of the placket (not at center front as they had been marked). I was visibly upset and was told I didn’t have to pay for the button holes on the chore coat (yeah, but what about my ruined garment?) and was told to “mark the placement in the inside next time”. Uhm, I did, in thread, which the operator had to remove in order to stitch the button holes. So I paid for the denim jacket button holes and left. Now, as I am working to place the buttons on the denim jacket I can see quite clearly that they are also in the wrong place. The eye of the buttonholes are not centered in the placket, and are actually too close to the edge, Which makes placing the buttons correctly impossible. The denim jacket is effectively ruined. I am so mad and sad and disappointed and I am never going back there again.

NOBODY WEARS A MASK INSIDE despite wear a mask! signs on the door. They also only started my project 40 minutes after they said theyd finish it. Ill be going elsewhere next time.

Most importantly we got the job done and it was top quality stitching on a Lycra bathing suit. Great job as always!

These folks have a button-hole making machine! There was a small wait to be seen but considering that very few tailors have this machine it was worth the wait. The button-hole looks perfect.

I specifically got the button holes on my blazer jacket colored as well as the eyelit on the lapel. The work was super fast, high quality, and cheap!Tailors usually change $60+ for this, and these guys charged me $20.00 Im extremely happy to finally cut out the middle man on this type of alteration and will be bringing all my jackets here for functioning button holes and custom colors!Very impressed and happy customer!

Lady was very rude and did not care about taking my order when I was willing to pay whatever price for my job. Dont waste your time with them because it seems like they feel customersw their time. Everyone wins.

First let me start off by saying please dont run a business if you dont have some type of customer service skills!!!When I first came to Jonathans studio, I wasnt greeted I was ignored by the Asian lady and Asian man that was in the front I did try to get their attention by saying Hello but they acted like they didnt see me. 5-6 mins later a Mexican lady from the back walked up to me, greeted me and ask me if she could help. I told her that I wanted to get my hats embroidered, she said okay just wait for her she pointed to the Asian lady that was in the front. Lie tell you not!! The Asian lady that was in the front, look at me, moved some papers around then looked at me again and specifically said this What do you want...I felt so disrespected but I told her what I wanted to do. She later told me to send her my files and shell give me a quote. I said okay, and asked her whats the ranges you charge for hats from what price to what price so I can have an idea of how much money to save.... She told me she doesnt know, to send her the files and shes not answering no more questions. I was so pissed I walked out saying she was rude... Called the store manger he apologized and told me to come back and speak to him.

Read this before going. Got my embroidery done for my hats, which turned out fine, a little pricey. Prices will fluctuate even if you order the same quantity, which was unclear when I put my first order of hats in. This means you may be subjected to paying more for whatever reason, for the same quantity from your last order. Sunny, the main employee lacks customer service skills, so if you could get around having contact with her, that would be your best bet -- otherwise minimize contact. Sunny was annoyed with my pricing questions, handed me her calculator to do my own calculations (not possible if I dont have all the prices), then walked away to the next customer. Her reasoning was because she cant spend more than a certain amount of time on one person and told me to email most requests to expedite my visit. Fair enough, but I wont be going back. If you go, have less contact with Sunny and always compare prices with other places in the city.

It was a totally nightmare. I waste 1 hour and I wait so long for nothing and they gave no solutions about my designs and embroidery. Poor consultation. They only want your money. I dont recommand at all!

They do great work and are very helpful ! I loved how my jacket came out, definitely will be coming back.

Have your garment ready with buttonhole placement marked with a pin or chalk, walk in past the register and wait in line on the stools, you speak directly with the sewers about what you need. While you wait service for buttonholes. 👍🏻 Buttonhole service is cash only.
