Cara went above and beyond in making the beautiful basket for our daughters birthday.The Perfect Gift was recommended by the concierge at the Renaissance Hotel, and when I called, Cara told name that her store was closed but would make up a basket anyway. It was delivered to the hotel and in our daughters room upon her arrival, and was full of delightful treats in a New York theme. Cara and her team are AWESOME. They are an old-school operation -- in a refreshing way! Cara the owner actually answered the phone -- on a weekend -- when the store is closed. She was accommodating eager and creative with the basket I wanted. We followed up with each other by email and phone on Monday. Cara was very eager to make the gift exactly the way I wanted it, within the budget that I established. She also went to another store to get an item they dont stock, but I wanted to have included. I landed in NYC and needed to find a gift for a friend who recently had their first son. I do not know NYC that well. After calling around seeking a gift hamper or basket, I found Cara. I was searching the internet to find a gift basket to send as a thank you to someone overseas. I found this site and called. Best thing I ever did! Cara was absolutely amazing. She was patient and helpful. She put together a basket, that I cannot even find the words to properly describe it. The basket is absolutely perfect!!! She nailed it!!!! In addition, she had the basket packed in a box appropriate for shipping overseas. They wrapped the basket in such a way that I could take it out and look at it and simply re-wrap and re-pack it and put it right back in the box. All I had to do was take it to the post office.
