A neighbor recommended we visit and so while out and about we said lets go today. The store was clean and inviting. The flavor options were mouth-watering🥲 watching them get made and decorated was fun. And getting them home to eat was HEAVENLY!! 🍽☕🍩💞If you love donuts made to order then you must visit and try one or do like we did and get a dozen! 😀

(The time was alittle before 7pm on a Saturday) Main Street is pretty busy with both car and pedestrians. There are a few pay to park spaces on Main St.. After some time we were able to find a park, paid and went into the store (sign said open) we began to look at options and the employee immediately said they were all out of batter so we left. She did not even ask if we would be interested in something else like a drink or at the very least apologize for the inconvenience. I understand this is possible fir restaurants to run out of ingredients but for it to be 2 hours before close on a Saturday this shouldnt be happening. My biggest complaint is there wasnt even a sign up on the door. We would have been able to read it before paying to park. We have a Duck Donuts in Maryland and enjoy them however was disappointed with this specific store (Can not obviously rate them on taste of product) Hope we can eventually go back and have a different experience.

Do not hire for an event unless you want extra stress on your wedding day. From the very beginning, the communication and ordering process had me concerned and I should have trusted my gut to not go through with them. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get in touch with a manager and then the manager did not communicate well with the local team who was very confused when speaking with me about the order. A week before the wedding I paid and confirmed the date/time of pick up, as well as, what was included in the order. I felt uneasy because they did not have the right info during this call. Long behold the day of the wedding a family member called Duck donuts an hour before pickup to say they are on the way and duck donuts said that they did not have any catering orders for the day. I paid for 9 dozen donuts to be used for our dessert table and here we are an hour before pickup with no donuts. Luckily they cranked out the order to be delivered on time, but the order still was not 100% what I requested. They also had the audacity to comment about wanting a tip because of having to work extra hard to complete the order on time - that is not our fault your company failed to inform the employees of a catering order that was paid for in advance! I also requested white pearls on glazed donuts and they put weird gray/purple pearls on glazed donuts. Negatives: extra stress and unorganized Positive: tasted good. I would not use them for an event again but I would purchase their donuts at the shop to enjoy.

I like simple old fashioned donuts. Crullers and such.This is not that! Cake style only and they push and price for lots of fancy toppings.Four donuts and two coffee for just under $20.

Duck donuts is the best. It is good that this place is not closer to where I live. My brother in law went there for the first time with us and said his donut may be the absolute best food he has ever tasted.

Just an FYI for others who may care: Not a single person in here, staff or guest, wears a mask. Walked in, walked out. I just write this because I check the mask policies before visiting businesses, and this business says that everyone is required to use masks and this is not true. Glad I popped in and didnt take my young, unvaccinated children out of the car just to turn them right back around explaining that we couldnt get treats because its unsafe for them.

Great fresh-made and handcrafted donuts. Pricey for a donut, but inexpensive for a treat. The restaurant is an old diner converted to an open view shop. In my opinion their plain donut is by far the best.

I was in there on Sunday evening at 6:30pm. I am a man of Indian decent and I ordered my donuts and I was number 54. I ordered 3 donuts, and there was a Caucasian couple behind me that order a few more than I had with bacon on their donuts. For some reason the young lady began make their donuts first, even warming their bacon for their donuts. Is there a reason why she served them first and not me? Is my time any less valuable? They received two sets of donuts before I got mine. I don’t understand, made me instantly feel like a second rate citizen even though I’ve born and raised here.

This place is great and worth any day trip to visit. I stop by here every time when visiting my daughter at University of Delaware. You need to stop by when youre in the area, well worth it.

Donuts were exceptionally better than any other donut shop I’ve been to. This place needs to be on every corner! I’d definitely go there again. Oh and the service was phenomenal! I had randomly stopped there early prior to my scheduled pickup (that I did online) and, although I couldn’t get the donuts earlier like I’d hoped, the workers there were helpful and courteous the whole time! Amazing!

Great place, will always be one of my favorites, but the staff arent the most social and when I came, my donuts were not as fresh as they usually are. Though we did come in around 1, I was still hoping for a donut that didnt taste slightly heated up

Im not a donut person, but my daughters love this place!Theyre a bit slow and I couldnt understand the cashier and they just dont seem friendly.But they have a nice selection of different varieties and Im all about supporting mom n pop shops, but they need to make sure to hire quality people who are going to represent their establishment 😕

Its rare that I ever feeled compelled to write a review...My wife placed an order in the store and the it was obvious they were more concerned about filling online orders as a priority over hers. Her order of just 6 donuts was filled after several others who placed them online and picked up while I was waiting in the car for her. It was later admitted that they did not submit her order...there was no willingness on their part to make it right. As Kevin OLeary would say theyre dead to me.

The doughnuts were fantastic and well fried. Light, crispy and not too greasy. The frosting was fairly light as well, not too sugary or overwhelming.

I was totally surprised when I stopped in here. Their create your own donut idea is fun and delicious. The staff were all very patient when I was fumbling while making my order. The seats give a great view to the busy main Street so there is plenty of people watching to do. All in all one of my new favorites in town.

I am not generally a fan of cake donuts, and this chain is 100% cake-style donuts. That said, they do a very good job at what they do. The donuts are always hot and fresh, made quickly to your customization and with friendly service to boot. I just wish they had options other than vanilla cake as the donut base.

Great selection of donuts, had the Werewolf which tasted amazing! You can also build your own, which is great for the creative folk and/or people with certain tastes or allergies. Staff were friendly and it had a comfortable atmosphere. Tables could have been a bit cleaner but it didnt bother me, plenty of napkins to wipe them off with.

Im from the West Coast so I find it hard to find a good donut around here. Duck Donuts is awesome. You cant go wrong. They make it right in front of you to your order and it tastes great. Well worth the little bit of an extra price you pay for donut. But dont get addicted!

First time there Donuts were hot and delicious . My daughter has a very severe peanut allergies when employees were told, they didnt hesitate, they wash their hands put on totally new gloves and I made fresh donuts in a peanut free area in the back. Daughter was so thrilled she could enjoy them too. Very pleased and will return soon
