Wow i cant believe how professional these guys are. I went to Richard and Son around the corner on Broad st and they offered me $60 for a gold ring to pawn. Its a 18kt gold ring. When i went to Perfect Pawn on 221 Washington st. They offered me $140 and gave me 30,60, and even 90 day pawn option at only 4.5% interest. Plus explained about my ring, the weight, the purity, etc. Very professional. I will always come back and recommend everyone to as well. Not only do they pawn they BUY!!!

I have done my share of sales and worked in the industry for a long time. I cannot say how courteous and helpful Gary, as well as the other employee whos name I didnt get, were. They were both down to earth and extremely fair with prices, if not the best I have ever seen in any pawn shops. I understand Perfect Pawn has several locations but the Newark, NJ location was by far the most cleanly and modern. If you are looking for a Pawn Shop to go to I highly recommend this exact location.

At first I was a little hesitant because they wouldnt give me a price over the phone but once I came in they were great. Understanding that this is a business I was surprised when they negotiated a price. I would recommend them.

Perfect pawn has the perfect name to describe the service you get you never feel undersold your pleased with the amount of cash in your hand for tour merchandise and their words are grand a honest pawn shop We buy anything BUT Garbage PERFECT PAWN ALWAYS PAID MORE MONEY FOR ITEMS THAT IVE PAWNED TO OTHER PAWN SHOPS IN THE PAST BY AT LEAST 10%. True story went to sale some tools and walked out with cash for my tool and a electric drill for free now where do they give something free at a pawn shop thats out to make a profit. I give them 5 plus stars; Ive. always been satisfied with their service and everyone that Ive sent there was Happy with there service.

They make good on their promise i brought a ps4 and a microphone to them with all intent to buy it back.My issue came with picking up the things that were not included in the deal. I had asked them when i brought the ps4 if they took games. They said no. I said fine ill be back to get it so is it ok if i just hold the games in the bag and if anything i can pick up the bag and the games. They said yes and i left. I come back unfortunately unable to buy back my ps4 (btw i dont agree with the extender fee not going towards paying off the item. But thats fine. I come back and im like i cant pay it off so im coming to pick up my bag with the ps4 games. And here is where the issue began.They kept saying no you cant keep your games over and over. And i was telling them im not here trying to steal what i sold you im only trying to reclaim what you said i could reclaim especially since you guys wouldnt give an offer for my games. So im there for like 20 minutes saying you said i would be able to get the bag and games back. You told me you wouldnt accept buying the games in the first place. When i was offering. So why are you trying to take something you didnt pay for.I eventually got my games back. And unfortunately i dont have my ps4 anymore which is fine. This was my first experience with a pawn shop and tbh its honestly my last. I read amazing reviews but them trying to take something that was never part of the deal from me was unforgivable in my eyes.

My experience didnt even involve pawning I had to go to court across the street from the pawn shop and I was carrying climbing equipment & Ali watched my stuff while I went to court and didnt charge me a nickel and I owe him a nice large coffee.,

Went to establishment today and didnt receive any of the customer service that is spoke about in these reviews. I came in with my item never received eye contact or friendly conversation. I was told let me see what you have and the gentleman looked at his computer and very low said Ill pass I said excuse me he said Ill pass. I was really floored didnt care if you purchased it or not but you could have treated me like a customer or for that matter a person.
