If I could rate Carla, Id give her a zero. She is so pompous, she believes that normal people who are very ill on oxygen cant tell the difference between the truth and a lie. Her own staff says she is overwhelmed by the jobs responsibilities.
This company should not be in business. They’re horrible. I now go else where for any thing I need.

Stay away from this company. Very bad customer service. I have spent months trying to get my mom a small portable oxygen machine to make it easier for to go to appointments. of course they said she needed to be approved for this machine. it took weeks and weeks and many phone calls. finally said she was approved but they didnt have a machine available for her. after several more calls they told me they needed to send paperwork to the manufacturer for a unit to be made. What?? They think people are stupid!!! Never hear of such a thing. I finally purchased her a unit out of my own pocket. I then called them to pick up her equipment as we no longer needed it. Well still waiting for that to be picked up. That is because they want to continue to bill medicare. I soon will be delivering it to them and calling her insurance to let them know that it was returned and that they should really check this company out because they are taking advantage of the elderly. Very Sad!
My aunt is deceased. We have tried to get Lincare to pick up her oxygen for weeks. Before she died, someone was supposed to call and set up a time. That was weeks ago. After she died, my sister tried to get someone to pick it up. No luck. We had to get a medical person to call. Of course, we left our number, they instead called the dead person. I am still waiting for them to call and pick up their oxygen.
OMG these people suck eggs! From not answering the 800 line, to bouncing you from staff member to staff member NONE of whom know what you or THEY are talking about -- its a horrible experience! Months of waiting for them to get it together while they bought out the only decent company -- American Home Patient. Go ANYWHERE else because they dont give an F about YOU! STILL waiting for supplies.
Ive waited three weeks for a piece of equipment to monitor my oxygen level. Really? Push come to shove I could drop by and pick it up. It makes me wonder if this is the kind of service that people normally get from Lincare or am I just an exception?
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I have been waiting for over a month now for a CPAP machine. no messages on either of my phones. no attempts to contact me through my doctors office. after multiple attempts to contact from both me and my doctors office i decided to go with someone else. only to find out I now have to wait for Lincare to cancel everything before i can have someone else provide me with the equipment I need. after requesting in person and through my insurance company that this be done, Im still waiting. I would not recommend them to anyone. if it would allow me to post 0 stars I would.
When I attempted to order a breast pump to help with care of my newborn baby, they said they would send one after I faxed a prescription. After several weeks went by they said it was on its way. I gave up waiting and got a hand pump. After more than a month went by I just assumed it would never show up, so I called and they told me someone tried to call to arrange delivery but couldnt get through -- however, nobody had EVER called me or my husband-- we had always been the ones to call Lincare. Anyway, they had me have my doctors office RESEND a prescription. I called again 10 days later asking about my breast pump (my baby is now almost 3 months old and Im going back to work next week) and they said they need to have the doctors chart notes proving I actually need a breast pump. These charts would detail my vaginal length and cervix size and are entirely unnecessary-- since my DOCTOR wrote a PRESCRIPTION for it, and that is usually all that is needed to PROVE that the item is necessary. Not to mention, they didnt require these medical charts for the pump they had allegedly attempted to send me previously. Also, my doctors office has never been required to provide anything but a prescription in their many years of practice, for a breast pump. I will be finding another provider for my medical equipment and will be submitting formal complaints to Lincare and my insurance company about this ordeal.
I have been a customer of Lincare since 1993. Recently I have been hospitalized for copd and require oxygen. Lincare in Newark has been excellent all thru this process. As my requirements change they have been there to support me with the hardware, instructions and answered all my questions. I want to give Andrea a special thanks she has been there every step of the way making sure all the obsitcals have been adressed and expedite my requirements.Thank you so muchken palmeri
Cant get a refurb or New cpap. Ive waited almost a year.
Absolute horrible customer service. Concentrator was picked up a year ago and cannot get billing to stop.
Words just cant explain how screwed up this organization is. Trying to get service is like a trip to the Twilight Zone. If you are looking for assistance with CPAP equipment.....go somewhere else. Over 4 months and I have gotten nowhere with these people. Its been hell.
