Weak pricing, no price matching, no customer service skills. Do not recommend.

Scott Wirges at your Albany store and Alan at your Newberg stores was extremely helpful to me when. They really went out of there oway to make sure I had what I needed as far as the materials and advice for putting in our new deck on the back of our house. Everything turned out just perfect. Always very friendly. I recently ordered 150+ cedar fence boards and only had 1 in the entire pile that was not good enough to use. Way better than the other options at the big box stores, I reject 10-15% of their fence boards as junk...

Have used PARR for small and large building projects. Recently bought lumber for a couple fences, they were very accommodating and even delivered the product to my doorstep!Also, we built a few walls recently for my office, and not only did PARR drop off the lumber, but they also picked up some excess pieces that were incorrectly shipped. Sure, there was a mistake, but their response time and ability to fix the problem was very helpful to me. Also, I compared the prices to Home Depot, and these guys were actually a little less expensive...

Not only do these guys have terrific products but their staff is very knowledgeable! On another note, our business had paint that we did not know what to do with. They took it off our hands even helped us unload it. Wow! Thank you Parr, you have our business!

The workers of Parr Lumber have helped me on several occasions. It seems I am in at least a few times a week. They are knowledgeable, organized, and kind.

The Newberg Parr Lumber offers great customer service. It retail location is clean and offers endless amounts of different wood products. I went in with the intention of making cedar planks for grilling one day. The staff helped me choose lumber that was safe for use with food and happily cut the wood down to the size I needed.Parr Lumber also supports community projects, such as the building of the Chehalem Valley Community Garden.

We had always heard great things about Parr Lumber but our experience at the Newberg location was awful. The representatives are very unhelpful and downright rude. They seem to think that customer service and follow up are not important. Management definitely needs to reassess and hire some employees who actually want to work. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

These guys are pretty useless. if you know what you wnt and price isnt an issue then yeah go buy your stuff here, but f your on a budget dont even bother trying to call for prices there just gonna run off random numbers till you hang up.

First off I have a twisted ankle, and I hobbled/drug in the door I need to replace.Im on my lunch break hoping to buy a properly fitting replacement, so I asked the only guy in the place that looked up from his monitor at me.Me: Hey, who do I talk to about buying a replacement door?Him: The two guys that can help you are out on lunch. Me: Well, is there anything I can do? Im on my lunch break here too.Him: yeah...come back some other time.Between the lacking customer service and the lumber scraps/garbage/nails all over the parking area I can see why these guys are not very busy.

Not friendly, seemed to tend to the contractors more than the regular do it yourself people. Newberg hardware and Home Depot Are the better choices IMO. Much better service.

Their face diapers were down below their chins, the guys in the warehouse were not wearing them…. And they tell me to put a mask on…. No thanks, my money goes elsewhere.
