I love this local store. They have a huge variety of things. Even western wear! They don’t always have what I want when I go in but when they don’t it’s just because I’m looking for some kind of odd screw or what not that would help on an odd project. Besides that it’s a great little store.

I just wanted to thank the team at ACE for helping me with a grill for my husband for Fathers Day. They were all so helpful and kind. The wrong grill actually got delivered (for free) which is likely my fault and instead of making me deal with it they did a return on the phone and got a new one ordered/delivered right away. JT is so friendly and professional. I will be a customer for life. Its so rare to get great customer service these days. Your team is doing it right. Great job and thank you! We love our new Weber and appreciate you going the extra mile.

We had a mix up with paint colors and they took care of it and mixed the new color the very next day they were open. Really great service!

These guys are like my extended family. Most of their staff were there since we moved to Newberg years ago, successfully guiding me through all of my home projects.Their cash back program is very simple timely and generous, making it impossible to resist another visit or find excuse for a not buying another tool.They dont kick me out and leave me alone when I need two hours to contemplate over my next project design.

Front service left a bit to be desired when asking for directions but the gentleman back in hardware was amazing.

Newberg Ace had the parts I needed when nobody else in Newberg, mac, or forest grove did. Not only that, but when I was having trouble finding one of them (in the giant row of parts bins), an employee came up to me, asked if I needed help, and found it in about 15 seconds.Nobody even talked to me at the big box hardware store in Mac I went to. In fact, other customers were coming to me asking if I knew anything about the parts I was looking at. If that ever happens again Ill send them to Ace.Thanks a ton Newberg Ace, you were very helpful.

I moved to Newberg a few years back and this store has become my go to for nearly everything I could use or need around the home. Plus, the Gypsy Crossing is hands down the best small boutique in the Valley. One stop shop, friendly, willing to help and loaded with the most ideal of needs and tools.Keep it up ACE, you got a great thing going.

This is a great hardware store. They have a really great selection of miscellaneous stuff. Im always surprised when I need something sort of weird and this Ace comes through. You can also order what your need if they dont have it. It is a little bit more expensive than the big box hard ware stores or Amazon, but super convenient.

This is unlike any Ace I have been to before°! They have some really unique ideas and inventory. The staff was super friendly!! A+

Ive been here a few times and each time I felt like I had a personal shopper with me. They helped me find everything I needed and also advice for my first time repairing a hole in the wall. Awesome people here.

Went to the paint counter to match a code I was given 3 years ago by one of the clerks. Was told our computer system has completely changed so none of the codes will work. O-K; I asked whether the colors had changed as well and the associate said no I then said well lets get that color and was then told well, I cant guarantee it will be that EXACT color because the codes have changed... hmm I can TRY to MANUALLY input the code if you WANT. Yes please do that. Was then treated to 5 minutes of mumbling about how the codes were different and how she hated manually inputting codes. finally the associate said I just cant do it because the codes are different. You dont say.As I left empty handed I overheard cashiers complaining about a difficult customer on line one.I know there are good employees who work here, but I havent met any

Great customer service! On more than one occasion, I was confused and an employee was able to help me find what I needed in a quick and professional manner. They have a good selection of parts for any hobbyist, and good prices from what Ive seen. Definitely would recommend

Good old fashioned hardware store where you can find a lot of things the big box stores dont carry. Whish they were open Sunday afternoons.

A few years ago this store reinvented itself into an indispensable community asset.

Ace hardware in Newberg has just about anything you could need around the house and more, rarely do I go there and not get what I need. They are very helpful and plenty of employees to to help assist in finding what you are looking for. The only minor issue I have is their pricing. You definitely pay more than you would at the big box stores, but its a trade off for the customer service.

Newberg hardware is pretty awesome. They carry most everything you might need from the hardware store and their employees are by far the best. Knowledgeable, courteous and always willing to help.

I do not recommend and here is why: I bought two bags of Smokehouse Cherry chips ($6.99 each) on May 2, 2020. Then on my way home, I stopped at Fred Meyers (FM) and found the exact product for $2.95 each. I went back to Ace and returned the chips and then I spoke with the store manager. He looked at my Ace receipt, compared it with the one from FM and said that the product is not the same. Then I invited him to walk with me to my car and see for himself. His answer was “I haven’t got the time.” So, Mr. Unconcerned today you lost a customer.I do want to add that employees in the store are very nice and helpful.

Rarely have I been to this store and not been able to find what I need. Mark and his staff are readily available and knowledgeable about the location and use of products in their store. My kids even enjoy going with me to the hardware store for a free bag of popcorn.

Always the friendliest place to go grab those few items I need for a project. I never walk away empty handed, they seem to carry just enough of everything. I pay the small markup to shop here because the service is worth it and I can recognize that this place treats their employees well.

You know each Ace Hardware store is unique to each community, and they are all fun to look through. So far, I have not found one yet to hate. They are quirky with wonderful surprises, and you often find what you are needing or a helpful person to give you advice.

Im giving Ace 1 star today because I asked if I could get 2 pint cans of Watco for the price of 1 quart. They were out of quarts, so I assumed that they would do like all the box stores do and give it to the customer for the quart price. The worst part was, the employee was rude and didnt want to hear what I had to say.Ive always had a good experience at that store, so if I have a choice in the future, I will go to the box store, which is sad.

They have everything hardware, household to work related nuts and bolts. Plus BBQ and home decor.

Jessi just put together a pvc 4-valve irrigation manifold assembly for me in under 10 minutes. Her configuration will save so much time and is the stuff of experience and smarts. This kind of service is what makes your Ace a great store.

You can take reusable bags or purses inside but not a backpack. Cool.

Great place to go if you need help or have questions. Costs a few bucks more, but well worth it for the excellent service and only having to make one trip! One trip for a plumbing project is a definite win in my book.

Always helpful staff. I invariably get greeted within the first 2 minutes in the store and asked if I need help. Not only will they direct me to the right aisle, but they will help me select the right item. I get recommendations and advice here. Sign up for their rewards program, it is one of the best.
