This place is a joke, maybe if you’re lucky there’s one register open while 4 people hang out and talk behind the customer service desk and another 4 walk aimlessly around in self checkout like they’re lost just getting in the way. Go ahead and bring a cart in from the parking lot because you can bet that’s where they all are. Want to see an perfect model of poor management and lack of drive, you know where to go

Went to pick up a few things from Walmart.As I entered the store lobby I saw the hand sanitizer OVERFLOWED with used hand wipes from the customers!! Not one,but 3! No greeter in sight.Floors dirty and the bathrooms are never,ever clean!WALMART,I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!AND THE DELI...No chicken,no reader,no nothing!I guess Walmart is trying to turn us into vegans!Theres nothing wrong with being a Vegan,if thats your bag.But I like to eat my poultry and beef.Alright Walmart step up your game!

Not the best Walmart Ive ever been to but its ok. Had a Sunbelt tool rental booth it. Thats been pretty cool

Stopped by at this Walmart for a few grocery items but also ended up picking out a couple sweaters. Great prices, quick checkout.

I really try to shop local but this Walmart in Newberry SC is ridiculous . There is never enough check-outs open and if so it may be just one thats ten items or less. The rest are self check out lanes which is great if you dont want to use cash at all. And they are always empty on groceries unless its the Walmart or Sams brands. Its a very frustrating Walmart to go to. I dont recommend it unless its just a have to go there. If you have other choices thats best thing to do is go somewhere else. If you do like an item they never restock it. Its not a customer friendly Walmart and I understand the managers want their monthly bonuses and they want to keep overhead down and such but Newberry Walmart you have some great wonderful employees who would like to work not just enough to keep payroll low enough for the managers to get bonuses. You have some great people working there but you need to let them work and you need to stock your shelves it just seems its getting worse every year and its very disappointing compared to other Walmarts. Newberry deserves the same quality of Walmart as other cities and counties. I hear people say they go other places to avoid Newberry SC Walmart and that is not acceptable. Im sorry I would love to stroll threw Walmart and see and look at many items but its not enjoyable at all in Newberry SC Walmart. I dont know if its bonuses and keeping overhead down or just neglect but I dont think many go to this Walmart but out of necessity. I wouldnt have given one star but I had to rate it. I hope that maybe itll open some eyes and Newberry SC Walmart will see how much they arent providing or doing especially compared to other Walmarts. Newberry is limited on stores besides Walmart but thats no excuse to give them less than other counties and cities . I already know many who skip Walmart and run in some better smaller stores for milk and bread and essentials so they dont have to go into Walmart . Your losing customers to very well staffed and stocked small chain stores and the prices are cheaper or competitive. So we are being given more choices Walmart so maybe its time to step it up in service and available products .

Took 2 hours to get a layaway out and not only me but several customers was complaining about there service. They didn’t even have the courtesy to give me or anyone a gift card. I wait 2 hours and it wasn’t no long line I got there at 11 to pick a layaway out and didn’t receive it to 12:50. The funny thing is I paid it off and seem like these people that there Precious time and don’t care about the customer....there customers service sucks.

The shopping is fine....but only 2 checkout lines are ever open....so getting out takes longer than it should....walmart needs to hire more cashiers.

Stood in line for like 20 minutes. Why theres only 2 registers and 6 self checkouts open instead of the whole front end as self checkout so people can actually get in and out in a reasonable time I couldnt tell you.

The location is on the main strip in Newberry, Sc.on Wilson Road. This store is very organized, very clean and the employees are always eager to assist.

Need to open more check out lanes. It takes forevever to get cheched out. Theyve got like 15 check out lanes and only open 2 maybe 3 if your lucky

I live Newberry, and I wish we had a public because no one tries to help you or anything, they just look at you with a smirk for going there. AWEFUL

I absolutely hate going to Walmart. The workers are rude, they are always stocking when its busy and never have enough registers open. The only reason I give them 3 stars is because of the grocery pick up department. I have never had a bad experience with them! They are always friendly and prompt when bringing out my order! Definitely the best group of employees out of the whole store!

Too crowded . They never have enough lines open for checkout and their were no buggies inside the store. I had to send my daughter to retrieve one from the parking lot just to shop.

Either install more self checkout lanes or hire people to work the already existing lanes because have a line stretch half the store because you have an express lane and self checkout is ridiculous. Go look at the Dutch fork walmart and invest in more self checkout because you obviously to cheap to keep cashier lanes open.

Horrible as always not enough cashiers like every other time you go. You can barely even find an associate to help you locate anything. Sam Walton would be so disappointed 😞

This was the worst experience that I have had at a Walmart in avery long time. The store was not well stocked or organized. The busiest time of the day and they only had 3 registers open and one was the express lane and the self-checkout area. All lines were almost to the back of the store. Was visiting my daughter who lives near but will not revisit this Walmart.

You dont want to know. I was told that they had ammo that I was looking for by a good source, so I went early to get some, a person working there said they did not have any, they didnt even look for it. I have been there a couple of times this week and was told the same thing each time. I know they did cause a good source told me so cause they purchased some this morning. They were seen by another person. I didnt have a good experience at this Walmart at all.

Store never messy,pallets always in isles ( unsafe). Stock is always low or out

This Walmart is bad and getting worse all the time, there are never more than 2 registers open and the customers 7 or 8 deep and the self checkout is 8 or 10 deep. It used to be a place for low prices and convenience now I would rather go anywhere else and even pay more just so I dont have to go to Walmart in Newberry. Im not even going to go into details about the shelves half empty and out of stock. Well thats my opinion and Im sure Im not the only one with that opinion.

Kat was SO helpful, i found her in another department stocking vegetables and asked her about some frozen chicken we needed for a big party and she went and in the back, found some, and took some off a truck for us! She really went above and beyond, we appreciated it!!

30 minutes to shop for groceries...35 minutes in checkout line. I remember why I talked myself into not shopping in Walmart for 3 weeks. Walmart acts like customers time is not important.

As far as ordering online and picking up its great. I hate having to walk in because its almost an hour long wait to check out.

Atmosphere was refreshing! Workers were actually working at their jobs cashiers front line,managers all were friendly and eager to help.

Shelves bare in spots, lines all the way through the aisles (but lets not open more than 2 checkout aisles on a busy day)... or ever. Staff acts like you are the reason their day is bad.The only good part is the pharmacy. Always quick friendly and professional. I stood in line at 4for 20 minutes only to be sent to another register which of course people flooded to. I hate this store

I try not to go to this Walmart because they typically only have 2 or 3 registers open and they certainly didnt disappoint today, the self service check out line was 20 customers deep and the other 2 open Lanes had people backed up into the aisles. For Gods sake, staff your store accordingly!!

I absolutely hate walmart, I just made a food order for pick up at 10 am.. they texted said ready. I went to go get it and what happens, there store is down or something cant give me my order AND they placed hold on my money for the order so I cant go anywhere else... wonderful. Thanks walmart... another reason Ill stop going now. Waited all day for my order and cant get it because of some errorUghAnd those workers want 15 per hour... pleaseeeeeee

Store was mostly neat and organized but not stocked very well. Lots of employees cleaning up in sections we shopped. None spoke or smiled. It was very busy and only two checkouts open with long lines. Went through self checkout which appeared faster but still had to wait in line

4 stars because the shelves in the grocery section are always slack... Other than that they usually have a decent selection of goods in grocery, housewares, clothes, and healthy & beauty. The employees are actually helpful at this location... S/o to 2nd shift, the stockers in grocery, and the door greeters.

They open up another cash register and were didnt have to wait as long in line.

I think i have Fell in love with Walmarts outside delivery. Me being handicapped and i cannot move like i really want. They saved me a lot of energy n pain. I was in an out in 3 mins. I couldnt BELIEVE it!!! The only problem i had was i wish they would learn how to bag groceries better. But overall!!! Im HAPPY!!!

This Walmart needs a bit of work, more management presence out on the floor. And some new credit cards machines! I mean come on guys, youre like Walmart!

No buggies when you walk in.Had to go back into the parking lot for a buggy.No one wanted to clean the buggy after asking door greater,I was told, that was not her job!Door greater was not wearing a mask on her face, mask was down under her chain!

We didnt shop there because it was so insanely busy. But because all of the fast food dining rooms were closed we had to go inside to let the kids use a bathroom. The bathrooms were quite clean so they are attempting to keep customers safe. Im really disappointed in how many people just dont have any respect for employees or other customers and dont wear masks.

No shopping carts at both entrances two different daysand attendant sitting on her butt told me if l wanted one to get it myself.Asked where the manger was and was told they didnt know.Newberry Walmart is the worst store I have been in. In future will buy on Amazon.

The stores are too spread out for those of us with disabilities. Finding a motorized cart is nearly impossible and the carts are too small.

The only walmart in the country I have been to that I have not been able to use a coupon (that I got from there own deli counter display) at the self checkout. Very unorganized store

A lot of items I wanted were not there. Quite a few shelves were almost bare. They only had one line to have an employee check out for their purchases. The line was just about all the way to the other end of the store. We had to wait at least 20 or more minutes to get our purchases checked out.

They have 12 checkout lanes and only one open. The line for it and the self checkout are across the isle and getting further down the store. Ridiculous!

Good prices on automotive supplies for servicing fluid changes.

I would state the obvious and beat a dead horse saying they need more registers open, but instead I will highlight the positive. Excellent selection on most everything to include supplies for RVs. I was pleasantly surprised 😯!!

I was in Walmart for an hour trying to find a matching set of curtains for my improved bedroom. I saw the set I wanted but needed 2. Just as I was leaving the aisle I saw that 2nd set on the endcap! Yay!! I grabbed it and went back for the matching set. Got it!! Paid and home now. Yay!
