Mavis took excellent care of my tires. Scott the manager fit me in last minute! I work in Health care have a very limited schedule and will be traveling a long distance for a wedding soon my front tire was on the verge of blowing out. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for the help I received. Mavis in Newburgh is trusted and used by myself and family. Thank you Scott and thank you Mavis. My car is riding smooth and safe now!

Scott and Chris are two diamond level employees at this location. I needed new tires for my car but lost my wheel lock nut. I kept getting the wrong lock and came by about 4 different times. These guys were extremely patient and friendly each and every time. I know for a fact I dont have that type of patience. LOL. I will definitely come back for all my needs and strongly recommend this establishment to everyone. The guys there are super friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, they were understaffed today but I called them early this morning after popping my tire late last night. They explained that they had a couple guys call out for the day and in turn only had one guy working in the back. They explained that they could definitely take a look at my tire but that they were backed up. I had left it with them and unfortunately at the end of the day the tire was unsalvageable but the guys were very nice and tried to help as best they could to help!

This place is great! Been here several times with several cars and every time, the process is speedy and professional ! They squeezed me in to mount a tire real quick while they were busy so I didnt have to drop the car off and/or wait for hours! Horrible experience. Mavis needs to hire professionals. Nice work on scratching my bumper as they took out a blow out tire from my trunk to replace the donut I had put on. Also nice to see they scratched all my rims up while putting all new 4 tires on. And not to mention Mavis did a great job over torquing the rims down, which led to snapping 2 studs on two difference wheels. Buyer be ware, save your car and go to a professional!

I went for an inspection the employee licensed to do the inspection was running late. I woke up early to go to this appointment and the manager on duty was very sincere and understanding and did his best to rectify the situation making sure I left happy. All the staff was kind, the place was clean and the were courteous towards me and my time.

Wayne and Kris hooked me up big time. I had 4 new tires put on my car in June at a different Mavis. The alignment was done incorrect and the back two tires wore down to the thread in just 2 months. Wayne and Kris helped me out and replaced both back tires and they did it quick. Awesome job!! Thank you!!!

I had a terrible experience with work done on my car at Mavis in the Vails Gate and Florida NY location. I wanted to give up on the company altogether and decided to try one more time at the location in Newburgh. Wayne and Chris reassured me that they would not only fix the issues with my car but gave me a great price for everything. They were very apologetic and sincere with correcting the problem. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Really slow on a light day. Kept trying to sell me things I probably would need eventually, but I will go somewhere else because they are really slow.

Very helpful! Had a bad valve stem on my dual-axle van. Called them 40 minutes before closing and they had the right part in stock. I had to take the wheel off myself because their lifts wouldnt lift my van, but once I got it inside, they got my tire fixed in just a few minutes. Got us back on the road quickly and with no unexpected charges. Great shop!

Recently I visited the newburgh location to setup a tire rotation. The manager, Wayne said come on in now, if you have the time. We actually did have the time and work began immediately. With in 5 minutes Wayne informed me my brake pads were cutting into the rotors. I followed him for visual inspection and thats exactly what had occurred. Wayne offered a fair price to replace rotors and front brakes in about a half hour. We were out the door and on our way. At that time, we also scheduled a alignment for the following week . I dropped the car off and it was completed in short period of time with a full report.The service by all members was excellent, professional and service times were shorter than expected.Thanks, Rich

Great staff, great prices. Only issue was had to return to get front breaks refixed again as break pads got installed incorrectly. It has made it even more of an issue tire sensor was also broken and now e break has an issue. Ive never had an issue before not sure who worked on it this time but has caused major problems to my car.

I needed two tires for my landscape trailer in a hurry. I called Mavis. They not only had the tires in stock, but told me they could mount them within an hour. After I dropped the old rims and tires off, I got a call telling me they couldnt locate what I had purchased, but would upgrade me to two tires they did have, at no charge. When I picked them up, they also put one of my takeoffs on my spare rim at no additional cost. Im happy.

I normally go to the Vails Gate Mavis, but they couldn’t fit me in for an inspection. They suggested the Newburgh Mavis on Route 300! I called and spoke to David; no problem got an appointment for this morning! Back home already with my car! Thanks for a job well done! G. Lynch

Got my car inspected. With everyone ahead of me took a little over 6 hours. No complaints. Staff were kind and friendly.Update. Went back to get my lug nuts/ bolts checked/retorqued, was done very quickly. Wayne & Kirk were extremely helpful in ending my near 2 month search for some rear windshield wipers for my 10 year old car. Cant thank them enough for helping me finally get what I have been searching for. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Anthony greeting me for my appointment at 3pm and politely advised me that it will take a few hours to complete the work. I understood due to everything going on in the world, everyone is behind. To my surprise, Anthony called me an hour later and told me my car is ready. I am a recurring Mavis customer and continue to support this company. Anthony and the rest of the Newburgh Mavis did great work. They are reasonable and always have time to explain the details to customer.

Chris and his team are trustworthy and I go to them for all of my auto needs.

Great location. Have been coming here since they opened for all my inspections, alignments and mounting new tires. Service has always been 5 star and customer satisfaction focused. Easy to schedule services and their staff are very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Wayne took care of my inspection today - good guy and he also did an awesome job carefully putting my inspection sticker on nice and straight for me (I’m a little OCD with that but now it’s perfect!). Would recommend for your next wheel/tire/suspension/inspection service needs.

Went there in April for wheel alignment because I had 4 new tires put on. Also did a multi-point inspection. They told me I needed a whole brake job, which I did and they gave me a law enforcement discount. I was pleased. However, ever since, the brakes have felt weird. I thought it was because they were new but now Im not sure. The brakes feel too loose and at times, are scaring me. I am going to check my paperwork to see how long my warranty is good for. Im scared to drive my vehicle at this point. I will post any new developments.*****UPDATE*****After my review, the owner reached out to me and I was referred to the shop Manager, Wayne and Kirk, who were very helpful. They had me bring my car back and tested it. They said they didnt do anything to my car because my car was in very good condition. However, since Wayne and Kirk drove it, its been running as usual...not scary anymore. Apparently, it was just a feeling of having new brakes. They were very understanding of my issue and so nice and professional and I appreciate the service and staff there. I was also informed that if I ever had any issues again, I can always come back and I can count on Mavis to come through.I will continue to take my car there and I recommend that YOU to do the same. THANKS to the owner and Wayne and Kirk for addressing my complaint with ease and a smile! 😃

I went in for an oil change and the service was excellent. Wayne the store manager was very helpful, polite and professional. Would definitely recommend going there.

Made online appointment for tires and state inspection for a Saturday. The Monday or Tuesday before appt, received call that inspector had been transferred. Kept appt for tires. Showed up, store had no record of appt, even though I had been called, and had confirmation number. Then told they didnt have my tires in stock. When they tried getting tires from other store, I was told that due to computer problem, they couldnt get tires (apparently, use of phone couldnt get the job done), and that I would be called when they had tires. Its now Friday, and no call.This is the second issue I have had with Newburgh store. Buyer beware.

Called a day ahead and they had room early on for inspection and oil change, quick and very kind people!

I have never been a fan of going to other Mavis locations because of having a history of sabotaging my car, but the location in Newburgh did an excellent job taking care of my suspension issues and was fair and honest about the work I needed done. After waiting all day for my car to be ready it feels like a brand new car again even with hitting 100,000 miles. I will definitely be coming back to this Mavis location again.

Brought my car in shop for a front passenger slow leak..rotate tires and balance. 2 1/2 hrs later. Plugged the front tire...and sent me on my way. 3 days later same tire flat. Brought it to a local shop tire should have never been plugged it should have been replaced. They never rotated tires either..will never do business with them again. Unbelievable!

Anthony and Frank went above and beyond my expectations. Came in without any appointment on an emergency(sidewall was hemorrhaging air). Anthony and his team had my car back up and running in no time. They handled my vehicle with the utmost level of professionalism. Frank went above and beyond showing me my rotors, pads and even informed me that one of my lugs was stripped and needed to be replaced. In spite of Mavis being a corporate company, this location gives an amazing amount of care for their clients. I will 100% be coming back for years to come.

Felicia is the best!! After a blowout on the Thruway, she got my car looked at quickly despite clearly being busy. While the size tire I needed was not available immediately, the crew graciously changed out the damaged tire for the spare and got me on my way. Felicia and the crew saved my day!!

I went there because my engine light was on. They looked over the car and realized it was the sensor causing the problem. One of my front lights were out causing the sensor to show false readings. They were honest and only charged me for the front light. Any other place would have lied and created other issue that would have been a false diagnosis.

Im meticulous based on who works on my car, so trust is a big issue. My first time at this location, and I received a very good impression, especially from Anthony at the service counter. My appointment was on time and thorough. The mechanic had a consultation with me before performing any work with my approval first, greatly appreciated. Ill make this location my main service shop

Just want to start off by saying great customer service. Kurk and Darryl were very helpful. I ordered some tires and had to wait a couple of days. Tires came in the day they said it was going to arrive. Dropped of my wheels that day and was done in a couple of hours. Time is money but quality is everything. They were fairly attentive to us and other customers. Initially, we called and they said itd be first come first serve. They had a decent price and we were in the area so we went there. Then they asked if we had an apptment. That was inconsistency was a bit annoying but we were among many trying to get snow tires before a blizzard so its reasonable that they were busy. It took awhile to get our car done but they did knock the price off because of the wait and threw in a power steering flush at a discount. Overall it cost $450 to get 4 snow tires put on.

The team assisted with changing a blown tire to the spare until actual brand tire arrived for my vehicle. The team performed in a very professional manner at all times; not just to me but to the other customers waiting and any phone calls that were coming through.

Service person Anyhony was extremely rude and unprofessional to my wife. She went on to have her brakes checked since they had been done 5 weeks ago. Anthony told her that her rear brakes were 95% gone. BTW, the car was inspected in the same place just 2 weeks ago. Nothing was notice nor mentioned. So now Anyhonys response is I dont know what to tell you you can buy the pads and we will install not sure why they couldnt order themselves. However she asked if he can reference same on the ticket so she knows what to order and he said I just hold you, you need back brakes, not that difficult. Needless to say we will no longer be a customer in that Mavis

Took my car there a few weeks ago for inspection... though car would have passed inspection, they brought to my attention brake issues that would arise in the near future. I had my pads and rotors replaced at minimal cost and they even showed me the wear on the rotors through a visual inspection. Thanks to everyone there at Mavis!

Staff is very nice, did a great job working on my car, quick and efficient. Always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. The manager Felicia is always willing to talk if there is a concern, she will go out of her way to make sure that any concerns are handled the proper way. Spoke with one of their Techs, his name was Frank Jr, super sweet guy, told him about my car issue and he was willing to take it for a quick drive around the building to hear the sound my car was making. Keep up the great work and great customer service. A great manager will always have a great team besides her.

This is the first time I have ever gone to a mavis and wow I could not say enough about the service and help and professionalism of the staff there. Had to have new rims and tires put on my son’s vehicle along with breaks and rotors and an alignment. They went over it very thoroughly not trying to up sell anything they just informed me of a problem and showed me.It was my choice to fix it being it was for my son’s car I felt it needed to be done. Drove the vehicle home to a happy kid. Next day was so happy I got the road hazard warranty. Because the new tire and rim were punctured by a leaf spring clamp from a truck. Called them up and they were so sympathetic and helpful in getting him back on the road. Thank you Wayne you are amazing. The professionalism and compassion was above and beyond. Would totally recommend!!

Scheduled me for before they even opened. Had to sit around and wait for a half hour. Also the parking lots and driving path has tons of broken glass and metal scraps all over to puncture your tires. Not even WiFi for the entire building while you wait.Maybe if there are appointments scheduled at 7:30, dont open at 8:10 for customers. Myself and 4 others sat outside at 8am looking at 3 employees who were just sat around talking to open the door while we waited to be helped.

Mavis in Newburgh! What a professional establishment. All those working here are very honest and hard-working people. I was shaken up after recently moving to NY and hitting one of those historic potholes that NY is known for. The guys here made me feel at ease and assured me that I was in good hands. I was serviced at a timely fashion and it was done with very skilled technicians. They went above and beyond by keeping me in the loop on the damage of my tire and how they were going to fix it. I was so impressed with my experience with Mavis Newburgh defying all the stigmas of getting bad service at tire shops. A special shout out to Wayne for hooking a brother up. This was the first time back in the new Mavis in Newburgh, had 2 inspections done in one month and was pleased at the time and quality of service.

Excellent service, very helpful. I needed to correct what another location had apparently not done. One of their managers, Felicia, took outstanding care of me, squeezing me in to their already busy schedule, to get the work done. When it was over, more needed to be done, and she once again made it happen! Kudos to Felicia for being customer-centric, a problem solver, and generally being willing to get the repairs done the right way. I will be returning for all of my needs here!

I am very grateful to Wayne and Felix technician at Mavis in Newburgh, for outstanding work on my vehicle, particularly, he used the hand manual torque to torque the wheels lug nuts to 80lbs Nissans torque specification, because if he used a torque gun, he would have over torqued my lug nuts and warped my rotors and my steering wheel would have started to shake, however because of Patricks workmanship and talent all wheel and tire work was done perfectly. Also, after all tire work was done, Patrick got vehicle alignment specs right in the middle ! Tires pressures perfectly done as well.The front desk attendant was very courteous and helpful. I had a leak in my tire. The guys at the shop were able to pull my car in and take a look at what was going on. Ordered my tire for me and got it repaired. Very professional gentlemen and lady work here. I would recommend visiting this location. I was helped out by Kurt, he is definitely a great manager and has a nice smile
