Great service! I’ve always received excellent service here. The most recent time I was in I mentioned an issue I noticed regarding the transmission. The person helping me shared a personal experience with that particular brand vehicle and recommended I follow up with the dealer, I did, and found out there was a recall and the dealer fixed the issue at no cost. They (Midas) could’ve easily charged me to diagnose etc, they didn’t, they were honest, shared their personal experience, and recommended a solution! Top notch, not many places would’ve done that and been so honest and helpful.

I spent 1200 dollars to fix my shocks on my Nissan Sentra . They told me the from shocks were the most important thing to fix . After it was completed I felt my car was a lot worst and pretty much was no difference if not worst from before . I believe and know they just took my money .

Jermain and Franco were friendly, knowledgable and straightforward. No hidden costs or fees, and my car was done right when they said it would be. Ill be back!

The experience I had with this shop is why people distrust auto shops so much. I would discourage you from using them unless you intend to personally inspect the work done and are knowledgable enough to know if you are being scammed.I needed a crucial part for my vehicles suspension replaced (control arm and ball joint), and paid in full to have the work completed. Only after leaving the shop did I discover that only the ball joint had actually been replaced. This is not a simple mistake, the two parts are almost always replaced together, and I did so with the encouragement of the shop manager.The shop manager swore it was an accident of the mechanic, the mechanic claims that the shop owner instructed him to only replace the ball joint because the control arm part couldnt be ordered. The district manager had no interest in actually finding the truth and taking responsibility.I feel fortunate that I have enough familiarity with a car to know I was being ripped off - if you dont know your way around a car, I would highly discourage you from using this shop as they could take advantage of you.

Had an issue on 87; pulled in with no appointment; got a look and a fix up done in a few hours. Great experience.

The price of the spark plugs they were giving me were about ten times the retail market value. Only ended up paying for labor on that end. Totally ridiculous. First and last visit.

Good guys but should follow up on timing. We agreed for some work as long as it was completed within two hours as we needed to be somewhere else that afternoon.When we got there 2 hours later to pick the car, they gave us an estimate of another 90minutes. They had barely started.I understand things happen and not everything can be planned to the minute. They should have called and informed us of the delay as soon as they knew that they would not meet their 2-hour commitment. This would have allowed us to make other arrangements.

Full 5 stars quick service service done right. And they check up to make sure everything is satisfactory a few days later.

Staff are helpful and honest. I inquired a set of snow tires, and was advised that they would not be necessary for the type of driving I do. They could have easily sold me $ 400 in tires. I drive safe about 20 miles to have these guys work on my car

They were very friendly, they informed me of issues I was unaware of. They took care of me in a timely manner. Thought I would be late for work but they worked on my car and got me out of there. Haven’t had a problem since. Excellent customer service. Supervisor Jermaine went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will go to this location for now on. I was very impressed.

As soon as I get my car back from the shop I noticed the low pressure light for the tires was on I went there to let them know a day later and they only checked the front two tires and said they were a tiny bit over let air out and said your light will go away eventually after driving a while the next morning I had a flat I also think they up saled me on rotors because they were brand new and he said that they probably rotted from the sun I’ve been there a few times never had this happen it crazy ridiculous terrible service

I have 2 vehicles needing yearly inspections. I called yesterday and J was able to fit me in for both cars the next day. They are inspecting the second car at this time. Every time I come in here J and his staff are always so helpful, professional, informative and goes the extra mile. Im always a happy customer when I see J because I know my cars are in good hands.

Horrible customer service from manager named “Franco”. Just horrible and unprofessional on the phone and they do not do business professionally as they will tell customers that they will “call back” in 10-15 minutes and they will never call and go home after 6pm. Pathetic business and complaint should be reported to general Midas for customer service investigation.

I went for an inspection, I own a Tesla so it was the first time taking an electric car for an inspection. The one who handled the inspection had never been in a Tesla before so I explained the basics which he quickly picked up. They used covers on the seats and paper mats which I completely appreciated since the seats are white. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Interesting thing happened, I realized that my service was with the business across the street but my gps drove me to Midas instead. 😂. Very happy it did.

Since moving up to New Windsor NY (2015) I gave this shop a try. I have had many bad experiences as mostly likely many have had with mechanic shops but Midas in Newburg really won my trust. Jay and Jared are great to work with. They are sincerely honest and really have taken care of me since day 1. If you have not given them the opportunity to service your car, I truly recommend that you do.

I recently purchased a new vehicle and brought it to Midas-Newburgh. I bought it the checked it out called me within 1hr gave me a total and what I needed and within 3 hrs my vehicle was ready to go. My vehicle drives well brakes feel good. As always never disappointed and the staff always smiles and greet you as you walk in the business. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went here for a full synthetic oil change. They had reasonable prices and after using a coupon it was even cheaper. They have very good business practices such as personally showing you any issues with your car if they recommend any additional services. And although they had recommendations, they weren’t pushy about it. The work was done quickly and professionally. This is the first place I’ll be looking at for my next oil change and any other needed maintenance that comes up.

Jay charged me $800 plus for two brake line replacements. When I pointed out that he only put one brake line in, he refunded only $200 of the $800. The proper cost for the brake line is $400, because that is what I paid to have his brake line ripped out of my car and the proper brake line installed.

Great professional place, I actually did a walk in and was greeted at the counter with friendly n smiling faces who were very welcoming and knew exactly what they were doing, I was in an out within 1hour and was very pleased with the services I received there. Definitely will be back and also will recommend my friends n family to go there.

I was greeted in a very friendly manner by Jermaine Jr. he was thorough in questions regarding my vehicle. Car was takes in quickly, issues with tires explained in professional mannerism and shown to me not just told over a counter. Mechanics were all working, staff was very professional.I was running a few minutes late, notified them, then hit unexpected traffic and had to get to work after. Jermaine completely seemed understanding and showed compassion for my situation.Bottom line they made my day so much better with the professionalism, mannerism I was shown. I already have told ppl about this establishment and will keep letting ppl know to go there for anything needed to service their vehicle. It’s unfortunately rare to find good customer service so I want to make sure they get the thanks they deserve. We were traveling to MA from PA, got a noticeable leak in a tire, they told us it wouldn’t be 1.5 hours before they would have a chance to even look at it. The tire was not repairable, and they had a new one on and ready for us to leave within an hour. Jarret took the time to check over the entire vehicle, pointing out a few things that will need done when we are back in PA. Very efficient and great service!

Overall quick service less than 1hr. Found the coupon on -line. $20 dollars off for Synthetic Oil. Paid the same price I paid for semi Synthetic oil. Would definitely go again if the same price applies.

Had New tires installed, serpentine belt replaced and coolant fluid flushed. Work done well, price reasonable, and in a timely fashion, only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the tire pressure was not set properly, tires were over inflated.

I was in from out of town and had a terrible exhaust mishap. Went online and found the store hours....needless to say they were not only punctual but were ready to service me and my vehicle. Jermaine and all the guys at the shop were very knowledgeable and willing to walk me through the whole process. 5 stars doesnt do them justice...

I returned to the Midas store on Union Avenue, in Newburgh again after having gotten an oil change the week before. Jared had given me an estimate for some work that they thought should be done on my car. The estimate was so fair, that I decided to do it, I called, and they got me in the same day-when I arrived, I was greeted by the same gentleman (Jared), that had helped me with the oil change. My car was done in less than 2 hours (2 tires changed, new Brake pads, rotors, and a few other things were done). I was very impressed with the professionalism of the team there, the speed of service, and also with the actual work done in the car. A week after the service, I received a courtesy email from another employee there, Jermain, asking if everything was ok-no one really does THAT anymore. I highly recommend this Midas store in Newburgh, New York. It’s just past the Newburgh Mall on the opposite side of the street. Great prices, workmanship, and fantastic customer service!

I was in need of an inspection during a very stressful time! Many other places around told me I needed to make an appointment or was backed up and to come back another day. As I drove around I saw a Midas that was open so I stopped in. Immediately they took my car in one of the bays and began the process. By the time I ate breakfast next door, my car was finished! The staff and mechanics were great.The service was timely.Not incredibly well priced. My lock lug went missing, they were able to get them off and I had pay for them no biggie. It was 40 bucks for labor to replace 4 lug nuts ($21.00) that took about 10 min. A bit on the expensive side.They offered to do my brakes on my sienna for 1200 bucks. I can do them myself for 250.Almost 5x the cost thats nuts.

The service takes forever to receive, the prices are a but high but they do offer competitor pricing. I do like that they give your car a full check when getting an oil change. Tire rotation is included in the oil change.

Great service. The Manager and assistente was very polite and acted on a profissional manner. Showed me what needs to be done right the way, for the safety reasons. I was told by a mechanic from other shop that I prefer not to name it, that my SUV Mazda needs new struts, and end up being bad wheel bearing and bat to rods. Truck drives like new now. I would go back there. And believe me, Ive been around for while, I know a good mechanic when I see one.

If i could post half a star i would.Worst mechanic shop experience Ive ever had.. and it was only for an inspection. Apparently right now means two and a half hours.probably the most incompetent staff members Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After an hour and a half of just waiting for them to pull my car in to do a simple inspection. (A 95 Ford escort, so theres no plug for emissions) they finally drive it into the bay.. JUST TO PULL A JEEP IN BEHIND ME AND START DOING AN OIL CHANGE! (Later to find out it was the girlfriend of the mechanic.) Outraged, I demand they give me my keys and a refund. I walk into the bay just to find them attempting to plug the car in to get an emissions reading.. THERE IS NO PLUG FOR EMISSIONS IN ANY 95 CAR EVER! after 45 MORE minutes, I finally got my car back.PLEASE, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. Its a waste of time and money, and the staff is borderline unneeded because of their incompetence.

I’ve been to both Middletown Midas and Newburgh Midas and I can say without reservation that I trust this team with my car every time. Excellent communication on what’s happening with your vehicle, specials that help take the stress off if necessary car repairs and painless oil changes. I do not recommend getting any actual work done here outside of an oil change, not even an inspection where you will feel trapped to have them do repairs, because they already scraped your sticker off and failed your inspection, like wipers that cost 30 each. If you do have any work suggested by them, ask for a printed estimate before you verbally agree to let them start repairs and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO PRICING ON PARTS. LEAVE and GET A SECOND ESTIMATE somewhere else. They charged me 66 dollars for one drive belt that costs 17.80 at the dealership. I needed 3 drive belts. Parts prices are different between different Midas locations and their suppliers. I suspected price gouging from this location at the time. I gave 2 stars because the work was done properly, I just felt cheated by their parts prices. Attempts at suggested price matching afterwards failed because of poor communication by their upper management offices not responding to the faxes I sent and not answering or returning calls.

You have to be careful. I only wanted an oil change but telling me about all the other problems I was having with car.
