We stopped into Barton Chevrolet and met with salesman Peter. Peter assisted us in test driving a 2018 Chevy Colorado and my husband fell in love with the truck. Two days later we drove out of the dealership as new owners of that very same truck. Thank you Peter for assisting us and walking us through the entire process from beginning to end. Your knowledge and patience was an extreme help in making this purchase effortless.
Had my vehicle into the facility for Oil change, alignment and new tires replacing old ones. No communication regarding maintenance or when the vehicle would be completed. Dropped my vehicle off at 10:30 am. Called multiple times, left messages and never received a call back. Had to keep calling to get a hold of someone. When I did at 5pm (they close at 6pm) they told me to pick up my vehicle at closing time. Showed up at 5:45pm to not leave the facility with my vehicle until 7:30 at night and didnt get the maintenance I requested resolved. Told me I need camber bolts for the alignment. Which can cause wear issues with the brand new tires I just put on my vehicle. I paid for the service and its not complete. Also showed me a leak in my front differential which I want to correct right away as I drive a lot for work. Was told they would look into it the following day. NEVER contacted me back regarding the service needed. So I called and they gave me the Managers cell to contact him and he didnt answer the phone call or respond to texts like his voicemail stated to send. This is not the first negative visit I have had at this facility. Extremely disappointed by this lack of professional service provided.

Charged MSRP for new vehicle that o ordered from the factoryβ¦Iβm ok with that in the current market. Then when I go to pick up vehicle and sign paperworkβ¦..was told they donβt participate in Chevyβs financing offer. They ran my credit 5 days prior and they could have told me then β¦β¦ it is simply a lie by withholding the truth. Forced to go with a loan that was 1.5% higher APR. βWe have to pay the electricity β is what I was told. Well now you get no interest since I refinanced at a rate that was lower than Chevyβs original. Everything was great until the end β¦.. just dishonest at the end to make an extra 1-2k on interest. If you had been upfront about it when you ran my credit I could have dealt with it. Now you lost a customer and whoever else I can tell about this experience.

Service was great but the wait was too long. In the confirmation email the fine print is too hard to recognize that I had a drop off appointment and not a waiting appointment and had no transportation so I was forced to wait 4 hours for a oil change and tire rotation. If it had been more identified that during the appointment process or in the confirmation email that it was a drop off type of appointment I couldβve made plans for other transportation. The service department took great care of my vehicle and had floor, seat, steering wheel, and shifter coverings.
Not the best experience really. The last time I was there for a major repair, because it was within the warranty, I was offer a courtesy loaner car. This time I was told you dont do that. Was told I would be without a car for a week and a half so not offering though was done before seem odd. Then was told you would contact me the next week to update me, this never happened. I had to call but couldnt get to anyone, left a voice message but got no call back. Had to call again and after being told I could leave another message I had to insist on speaking with any advisor and got I believe the supervisor who then mentioned it might be done on Friday, and that someone would call me on Thursday to confirm. No call came Thursday. I had to try myself again on Friday after multiple tries the advisor called back to let me know it should be done later that it is in the final stages. The entire experience could of been better if I was contacted briefly to let me know the status of where you were during the job. Then when I was told it was done I asked if the courtesy shuffle could pick me up to bring me back over, I was told they dont have anyone and they could do the courtesy but it if it wouldnt be until the following Tuesday. Sorry but I didnt walk away from this experience thinking very highly of this dealership and the service level provided.
Pete Grohl remembered I loved my 2013 Volt . So when a 2018 Volt came in off lease, he called and let me know. He was able to work a deal to my satisfaction.

Have you ever had someone go miles out of their way to fix something that wasnt even their fault? Thats how Barton Chevrolet (and especially Peter Grohl) treated me. Even though they werent going to make any money on it, they worked with GM to get me into a replacement car. Even knowing he wasnt going to get any commission, Peter and Jason Barton spent hours dealing with me and making sure I was a satisfied customer. While any business is in business to make money, at Barton I feel like they see that the long game of taking care of customers, treating them right, and having them return as repeat customers is better for business, than trying to squeeze a customer once.I know where Ill be buying my *next* Chevy!
The car I bought from here is great. It was exactly what I had been looking for. Our sales guy Chris really didnt need to do much selling since I had done my research already. Lol. With that said, I have to say I am disappointed in the detailing of my car. I had left a deposit and was picking up the car a week later. They had a full week to clean the car. When I picked it up, Chris had to clean the tray in the console because it was disgusting. There were crumbs on the boot of the shifter, the spare tire wasnt even looked at, pine needles and leaves in the door jam, and the I side of the gas tank door had crud in it. It looked like they just sprayed the car and wipes down the outside. The floor mats had to be straightened out too. To be honest, my 15 year old does a better job detailing. I truly hope they get better at detailing because it would have made me give 5 stars if it had been done right.
Peter was able to find the right used vehicle for my family right away. I needed something safe with as much room as possible and he was quick to help me out. Very patient with me since I wasnβt looking to rush into anything and it lead to the right deal. Brittney as well helped us a ton in the end. She worked to fix an issue on our end that was starting to feel like a nightmare. In the end they both made sure everything worked out for us as best they could. Iβm glad we were able to get the right kind of help from these 2 at Barton.
Had a very positive experience this week trading in my 2018 Equinox for a brand new 2021 Traverse. The staff at Barton Chevrolet was very professional and accommodating. Negotiations about my trade-in was a bit of give and take but ultimately I believe I got a fair price, very close to the top end Kelly Blue Book value. My target vehicle was a Black Cherry Metallic Traverse with the High County trim package and jet black interior. I wasnβt too optimistic in getting this exact car since this specific combination wasnβt on their lot and my research showed only a few available in a 200 mile radius so I was expecting to settle for an alternate color and/or trim package. My sales agent, Peter Grohl, set to work knowing my true preference and he really came through. Within a day or two he called me to say he found the exact model I was looking for and I would not have to settle. From the very start I felt Pete was really in my corner helping me. He gave me his personal cell # and encouraged me to call anytime with questions. We had several exchanges and he was very knowledgeable. Everybody dreads the whole car buying experience but I can honestly say this time it was a pleasure thanks mostly to Pete but also the whole Barton staff. I love my new Traverse and look forward to doing business again with them in a few years.

Since it is impossible to give 0 stars for this to get posted I was compelled to give 1. I was interested in a Tahoe they had online. I spoke with Manny in internet sales who told me I should get the ball rolling by filling out info online. Okay in good faith I did that thinking the price shown was what I would be purchasing this vehicle for. When I finally got a call from Anthony, which took days and countless calls from me to occur. He told me the price is now 10K higher, market adjustment, since there is such demand.I told him I should have been informed of this prior to filling out info online. In hindsight Im glad the deal didnt work out with Barton, I like to know things upfront, not the element of surprise.P.T. Barnum said it A sucker is born every minute Wasnt going to be me!

Amanda was amazing the cashier help me fix my rewards program. Paul that took my car in did a good job but needs to communicate a little better with service before taking to the customer. Donβt give a customer the wrong information that almost cost me $300 lucky that didnβt happen. Plus I did a tire rotation and they didnβt pressure test the tires they were all off
I walked into this dealership at the very beginning of my month long truck search, and ended up walking out with a truck from there in the end. I have to give all of my credit to a diligent, professional, and persistent salesman, Jon Vazquez. I worked with Jon when I first came in and I was looking for a very specific truck. I walked out because they did not have what I was looking for at that time. Throughout that month, Jon stayed in contact with me and continuously was doing his absolute best to put me in the truck that I needed. Eventually a truck came in that he thought would suite me, and he reached out. The rest is history. Jon was extremely personable, trust worthy and helpful throughout the entire process. I dropped my car off the night before(I had an 8:00 am appointment, then I didnβt hear from them for 2 days! I had to call them and never reached them. I drove over to the dealership where they had trouble locating my paperwork and vehicle. I was quoted a price at that time, but they had just looked at the car after 2 days! The price was astronomical and I asked to bring it somewhere else. Then, I had to wait forever to get my car and was charged $155 diagnostic fee. The receptionist was lovely, other than that, I was not impressed.

Everytime I get my truck serviced here....its an entire day lost. Even with a simple oil change...Im guaranteed to not have my vehicle back for 8 hours or more. The clientele here are very polite and professional. The place is clean and the service is great but...they are too slow or very short handed.
I recently read a review about working at Barton Chevrolet for the BDC Department. I worked over a year in this department, yes it can be frustrating if you dont work together as a team. As for the pay they are very fair to those who show they work. This is a business that needs constant training within management and staff until they all get it right. I have not worked for this company since March of 2021 they were very fair to me when we parted ways even though it wasnt on the best of terms because of a couple of mangers (who are not bad) they just didnt think before they spoke . ( thats were they need more training) For the person that wrote that review shame on you. I worked with you they should have fired you long ago.

Had been looking online for days for a new car as my current car was declining rapidly. We into Barton to look at the 2014 Dodge Dart and was immediately greeted by Peter Grohl. My husband and myself explained to him our current situation and how we wanted to approach making payments and not having a down payment on any car that we chose to purchase. He was extremely understanding and ready to work for us. I took the Dart for a test drive and fell even more in love with her. After running my credit the bank had indeed asked for a down payment and I was ready to walk away. Peter texted me the following day which was his day off and asked if I would mind if he went into the dealership and spoke to them about trading in my current vehicle. I told him it was worth a shot. He took time out of his day off to help me out and in the end got me the money for my car that I needed to make the deal on the Dart work for me. Also with in the finance department we dealt one in one with John Treglia. He was the go to for the bank and worked out an amazing deal for us that we were beyond comfortable with and including a warranty on the car and kept it with a payment I can handle. I would definitely recommend working with both of these gentlemen when you are in the market for a new or used car. They were outstanding. I cant say enough nice things about them.

BEWARE! If you have to get a service done thatβs not covered under warranty, shop around.I had to get a key fob (I purchased separately) programmed for my 2012 CTS Coupe. I called another dealership in the area on my way over to checkout the price because I had a gut feeling.Barton Birks wanted $159.99 to program my key, while Hudson Cadillac across the river only charges $75.So make sure you arenβt paying double for whatever service you are getting at this place!#ripoff
Wonderful service! I was taken care of completely by Peter and able to get my Jeep very quickly. He even helped my family surprise me with it in my driveway Christmas morning (by far my best gift). Avoid this dealership like you would the Rona! The longest run around and I JUST saw that they bought out my leased car after telling me it was worthless. AND are charging $12k more! Was asking them to add the residual to the new truck I was leasing. 5 hours on 1 day, 4 hours the next day! I have always had Chevys and NEVER again will deal with these folks. The 2021 truck I leased 2 months ago from a different dealer took a quarter of the time and HALF the price. (Both trucks cost the same). These thieves are so obnoxious that it motivated me to leave this review!!

Ive taken my Suburban in to service several times for the same issue, they have failed to locate the problem and have failed each time to fix the issue. Last time I took it in for a rattle in the exhaust. Not only could they not fnd the problem which is a loose bracket, they replace two components that did not need replacing and were in working order.I had been waiting eight months for they to take care of a recall, airbag They were supposed to inform me the parts were in, they did not and only what I asked about it, they finally replaced it.Never taking my car back there again. I suggest you find another dealer.

Great customer service all around! My wife and I leased our 2nd Tahoe with Barton Chevrolet recently. Peter Grohl was excellent to deal with throughout the entire process. We had a very tight timeline to work through and Peter & Jason met all of our expectations while expediting the process. 5 months ago a started working here and it was the best job experience that ever had. Its like being with family and the staff helps you every step of the way. Thank you to the staff from sales management to the service department. If you want the Chevy or Cadillac of your dreams at a reasonable price Jason Barton and team his will make sure of it. You can also get the best service from oil change to parts to a car wash.

Dont waste your time with this dealership. Sales was ok but service dept is absolutely horrible. Purchased a truck for over $30k and was in the shop 3 separate times within 2 months of purchase for a total of 21 days for multiple issues. No loaner. No rental. No call backs from service or management. Had to physically go take back possession of my truck each time after at least a week of hearing nothing about what is going on with my vehicle just to find out they didnt even do anything to fix the issues it was having. Please dont waste your time here. Horrible service.

Barton Chevrolet is the least professional place of business Iβve ever interacted with. I wish they would make zero stars an option. We bought a car from here and they contacted us a week later stating they needed βadditional fees that they forgot to collect and wouldnβt register the car if we didnβt pay themβ this is unbelievably unprofessional. When I call to speak with the manager he called me an internet tough guy which is ironic considering Iβm a professional fighter and heβs the one making unprofessional statements to customers over the phone, only further proving my point of how they can not deal with customers. If youβre looking to buy a vehicle. LOOK ELSEWHERE. And donβt let them rectify this with whatever their response is to this comment. Take my advice because Iβd hate for anyone else to be put in this situation.
