Took in my computer that work and got all the parts of that computer installed into another one that he made, or so I thought!! This man ripped me off so bad that my computer didn’t last me a year and I not I have to take to somewhere else where they told me that this man did not use my computer’s original parts! This man is a fraud and just stole my computer parts

A thoroughly horrid experience. Avoid at all costs. My mac book air had been running flawlessly for five years when the screen began showing striped vertical lines. I took it into the shop and was told that it would be about $150 if I paid in cash for a replacement screen. (I forget the exact amount, but that is pretty close.) I left the computer at the shop and got a call a few days later from the shop telling me that a much better and faster new hard drive was available that would give me another 10 years of good of greatly improved performance for an additional approximate $250. Foolishly, I ignored the maxim if it aint broke dont fix it and gave him the OK. Its been a nightmare ever since. The computer for the first time froze, booted me out, got interminally spinning wheels, mysteriously appearing flashing question marks and a slew of other major and minor problems. These problems began when I was out of town and so I took the computer to the apple store for repair. They told me that the problem had to do with the replaced hard drive. When I got back to Newburgh I brought me computer back to Computer Specialist and was told that the problem was one of software incompatibility having to do with an Adobe update. Thats Apple for ya said the guy who just a short while ago told me what a great machine I had and that it was always worth fixing an Apple. A day or later I pick up my fixed computer at the cost of $120 cash. Within no time the exact same problems came back as bad as ever. Mind you, I was always able to get my computer running for short intervals by restarting it, but this was happening with such increased frequency that I brought my computer back to the shop yet again. A day or two later I called to check on the status of the repair and was told that a piece of food stuff, chicken or fish was caught in the fan causing overheating that led to the observed problems which, by amazing co incidence manifested in EXACTLY the same way as the ones caused by a software problem just a month or two prior. They were stumped as to how such an object could have become lodged inside a computer but nearly as much as I who am a vegetarian. If there really were such a mysterious large object lodged inside my laptop, by far the most logical explanation would be that it got there when the technician opened the computer a few short months ago when he last serviced my computer perhaps while having lunch. But my far the biggest insult came when I was told it would be $120 to remove the obstacle. This after I was patient as a comatose saint with all their previous failures to get my computer running the way it was when I brought it to them in the first place.......... The full story is even more complicated and ugly, but enough said. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING COMPUTER SPECIALIST.
