Great online ordering experience. I ordered an Angel Dear bodysuit from Lively Kids website. I was looking for the Cool Pups pattern which is sold out on most websites, and Im very glad to have discovered Lively Kids in the process. They have such a great selection of kids and baby clothing as well as baby toys. My order arrived very quickly, nicely packaged with a thank you note. Will order again.

I hadnt really shopped here pre-COVID but due to their outstanding service during some pretty ambiguous and hectic times I now find myself going out of my way to shop here. The prices are higher than what I like to spend for kids stuff, but theyre in line with other boutique style shops and they carry high quality products. Its not somewhere I would go for an entire wardrobe but I consistently buy gifts here.But its their customer service that really gets me. The staff here is so incredibly helpful. One staffer here not only measured shoes for me while we were on the phone to make sure I was buying the right size, but she also texted me pictures of everything they had in stock in the size I needed. Then when I couldnt find parking she ran my purchase out to the curb for me so I wouldnt have to schlep my two kids in at the height of COVID. They really go above and beyond here!

This store has a wonderful collection of baby and kids clothing. It is the perfect place to shop local for a baby gift or something for your own little one. We love the owner and have found her to be very helpful with sizing knowing that different brands run small or large. They also have a wide selection of the best baby/toddler shoes and it is nice to be able to try these on in person. Dont miss this place if you are visiting from out of town.

This store is adorable. the set up and the staff are really lovely and sweet. prices are a bit high but make sense for the product and area. the young woman that helped me today was seriously so great.

Lively Kids is such a phenomenal store! I have shopped for my son here and bought gifts for other new babies and have had great luck finding unique, high quality clothes and toys that you can’t find other places. The team gives great recommendations and they always have cute new things in the store.

Cute little shop located right downtown. I have shopped here on several occasions and have always had great experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. Best place to find cute, unique clothes that you wont find in your standard childrens store!

This is my favorite children’s store! We go there for everything my daughter needs, and more. The women who work there are amazing and love my little one! They have the cutest and most unique clothing!Infants through teens!

Having followed this store for several years now, I am pleased with how Erin, the new owner, has made the store feel like a warm and welcoming must-visit while strolling around Newburyport. While I dont have children of my own, I choose Newburyport as my go-to when I need gifts for all the kiddos in my life. And its even more exciting to swing by the store to get the chance to see Erins little one! I live in NYC and call the store to have gifts sent to me, so Im even more excited now that theyre online!! And Erin was super helpful the last time I visited: I picked up a t-shirt for a four year olds birthday party and came back to NYC. Unfortunately, the t-shirt didnt fit!! Erin was super accommodating and allowed me to send back the shirt so that she could send a size up. Talk about service! Stop by Lively Kids if youre looking for something for the kids in your life -- not only are you supporting a small business in a wonderful community and getting a more custom experience than the typical Amazon order, but youre also likely to meet the family youre directly supporting! So cool. So cute. Love it all.

My girlfriend, and I enjoyed our visit to this small unique store on our way back from breakfast. At first we assumed this store was geared torwards infants and younger children, however; after inquiring with the owner we were informed that their is actually a downstairs floor with sizes for older children as well. The store has a cool casual/comfy urban feel to it. Classic rock t-shirts, graphic trendy designs and super sweet, soft, and unusual stuffed animals, toys, accessories and footwear. The business name is very appropriate. Will definitely be back!

I was greatly disappointed with my experience at Lively Kids. I would have loved to give a better review of this shop, but unfortunately I cannot.Just recently I was encouraged by a sales member to purchase an item that I was hesitant about to begin with. I felt pressured and was unsure that the product would be appropriate for what my son needed but was reassured by her that the product she was selling me would be a good fit. However, they had nothing else in the store that better fit the description of what I was looking for and now I cant help but feel a bit tricked. Lesson learned.When I tried to return the item I was expecting no problem, as it was very clear that the sales member had assured me that the product would be sufficient and it wasnt. However, all I received was a suggestion to try to contact the products company to see what they could do. in other words, a we cant help you. I was not told that there was a no refund or no return policy at the time I purchased the item.Again, Im disappointed and sad to write this review but felt it was important to share.

Erin is the new owner, very sneaky yaks person, she has a manipulative sales tactics to get you buy stuff you dont need, and when you need to contact the store shes gone under the water, never picks up the phone or returns messages.
