Well. Here I was, ready to spend $1,000 at this store. Walking in was not greeted but the lone guy was taking dating/love advice from some really wickedly weird woman. Could have been a street person, God Bless her.Anyway after 5 minutes of being ignored. I left.
Do not use this store if you are looking for a Verizon upgrade. They are a retailer only and their systems do not talk to the Verizon systems correctly, and they dont really seem to care to find out why or how they can fix it. My phone wouldnt turn on so I upgraded my phone through the Verizon website and chose this location as pickup. Verizon said I would receive an email within 2 hours when the phone was ready for pickup. I never received one, so I went to the store the next day and they told me that they couldnt fulfill my order because their systems messed up and there was nothing they can do about it and admitted that this had happened before. They told me to go home and talk to Verizon, so I asked to use their phone to call so that I wouldnt have to spend hours trying to figure this out. Verizon was unable to cancel the order themselves because it was in process with the store, so the only solution that they could come up with was for me to wait 3 days for the order to auto-cancel. I created a ticket with Verizon but I need my phone for work and now wont be able to have one for days. Its very unfortunate this specific incident has happened before and they made no effort to investigate or try to fix the process. I asked if I could talk to a Manager about why this happened and next steps and they said sorry he wont be available until Thursday. I hope that they will try to understand the error this time so that it doesnt happen to anyone else, but would recommend going to an actual Verizon location to avoid this type of trouble.
The representative was pleasant and very knowledgeable. He guided me to the correct accessories and fixed my phone situation quickly and with out hesitations. I was in and out in record time. Thank You.
I could tell he was doing great but my grandson was doing it for me. Hes more up on this stuff. It was a great experience for me to observe. Newburyport is very lucky to have this store. I give a five star rating.

I went to the place 455pm back to back days to pay my monthly bill and the place is close. There’s no reason to close early. I see the employee sitting there and can’t let me in or ask me what I want. A quick payment all I ask and he doesn’t acknowledge at all. I go there after work from next door all the time and I’m a regular. This will be the last time going there.
Mike Turner was absolutely the best sales person I have ever dealt with. We purchased a new phone and tablet and Mike worked closely with us on both. Always confidently and diligent to ensure our confidence and more important my wife. He is now the only salesman I will work with here at Russell Cellular. He should be recognized for his excellent work.
Tried to return a iphone power cord for $15.93 which did not work on the three phones I tried it on. I have bought multiple phones and numerous other equipment from this store and always been treated fairly. Today was different. I had not saved the receipt from my purchase, but have a copy of my cc account which showed date of purchase, store name and description of the item. For $15.93 they have lost a customer who was ready to buy two more iphone 11s.Aside the the shortsighted way they handled this matter, it is surprising they wouldnt even acknowledge they had faulty inventory

Had to replace my damaged phone today and the Manager Jeff, Ally and Paul at Russell Cellular by Verizon couldnt have been more helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating.Ally was actually the one who specifically assisted me but they all clearly work as a team and it was very refreshing to see. I had issues with my Verizon iPhone. I went to the Verizon store in Newburyport, MA and dealt with Brittany Sorey. Brittany was spectacular! She was knowledgeable, understanding and most helpful and most importantly solved the problem. With doing what she did to my iPhone, my iPhone is a totally new device. It’s faster and quicker than ever and has the technology that will b used in future upgrades already with what Brittany worked out. Hats off to Brittany and. Beers to Newburyport’s Verizon store....I’ll b back for sure!

Exceptionally poor service. Was told activation fee would be waived by the store; when I came back in with the receipt, the lady fled to the back of the store and refused to come out. Avoid these dishonest sales people.
Purchased a new phone with Russell Cellular. The staff, and particularly Vinicius, were so patient, helpful and courteous. There was a problem with transferring data and they kept at it until solved. All questions were answered and explained well. These are professionals you can trust.
