Official hours 9-6. Got there at 5:11 pm and they were closed. Not the first time. It is super irritating to rush over after work and have them close an hour early without so much as a note on the door. Since they clearly dont want to stay until closing, not sure why they dont just change their hours. They get 2 stars because the staff are nice... when they decide to stay in the building.

“Registers close early”…Really!!?? …if you won’t accept packages for shipping until 6 then don’t advertise that you’re open until 6!!! And they seem all too happy to tell you that you made the trip for nothing….go somewhere else for your shipping needs!!

Dark and dingy and always rough around the edges inside. The staff runs the gamut from friendly-ish to totally indifferent. They dont provide receipts for prepaid packages so you have no way to prove that you dropped off any return shipments. I was told to take a picture of the package which doesnt cut it with UPS or FedEx.

They are proficient. However they need to be clear with the prices on copies, faxes. But extremely convenient.

I had a question for them regarding an international package which they were able to help me with over the phone right away. Fast and friendly. Smooth mailing.

Its list on UPS as an authorized shipping outlet but they cant scan QR codes?? Useless for making returns via UPS when the only option you get is a QR code.

I dont understand the negative reviews or poor ratings. I drive out of my way to ship my packages from here. They are always friendly and provide me with several options for shipping. And I get an automatic electronic receipt with the tracking number.They are friendly and more efficient than the UPS Store, Staples, and USPS. Plus, when needed, they know how to pack boxes to make sure your items are secure in shipment.They are always busy, which tells me that others like me must also like their service.

They wouldnt copy my document even though their website says copying is a service. No one suggested an alternative and staff were very dismissive and rude.

WORST STORE BEWARE DONT GO. I tried to ship a overnight am package. I told employees they said driver was there he would not leave for 10 min. I filled out info and was done in maybe 5 min and then handed them package. They said he left. These employees are the worst i ship all the time and this was a terrible experience. They are not worth going to your 2 year old would be nicer. THEY WERE RUDE AND INCONCIDERATE AND UPSET ME ENOUGH TO WRITE THIS POOR REVIEW. 5 pm 1-28-2021

A+ customer service. Ive been there 3 times - each time has been easy. Ive had both big cumbersome boxes and little fragile items where I need packaging - the pakmail folks just make it easy for me.

I recommend that no one use this shipping store in Newburyport unless you want your precious goods to be ruined and destroyed.The manager failed to call me back to discuss how my package arrived with dozens of broken antique 130 year old English Bone China.This is the epitome of arrogance and extremely poor business practice. They gladly take your money, then ignore you when your package sustains total damage.Do yourself a favor and use the Post Office where they the Newburyport staff is efficient and caring about your package arriving safely.

Great place, i have used the fax machine in the past along with just dropping off items that i have packed myself. Staff always seems to be very pleasant. The reason i give four stars is simply the price. They are extremely expensive to have someone pack something up for you.

I would not recommend getting your packages sent here. I had a package arrive at Pak Mail and when I went to pick it up they had accidentally given someone else my package. Whoever signed for this package never returned it. This means whoever gave my package to the wrong person did not check their ID and compare it to the name on the package, which is a careless mistake!I had a package sent to Pak Mail a few weeks earlier and when I took out my license to show the young woman she shook her head and said she didnt need to look at it.When I asked them if they had insurance to cover their mistake they said they are not liable for any lost or damaged goods.I lost an expensive item and they were not helpful at all. They put no effort into looking into it for me. I will NEVER have a package sent to this store again.

Drove a half an hour one way based on their listing - but it turns out there is no notary. Update your listing. 2 stars because the younger guy seemed nice.

Unprofessional managers andhighly overpriced. They cant keep any decent help and they advertise a notary service but havent had one for more than a week at a time in the years I had been doing business with them. After being yelled at by a manager for asking questions Ill not return here and advise you dont bother with this establishment if you value your time.

Used Pak Mail as a Fedex drop-off location. Days later the Fedex tracking number still says that they do not have the package. I tried to call Pak Mail and see if they gave my package to Fedex, but the girl was less than helpful. They take absolutely no responsibility for the package even though it seems like that is what their advertised job entails. She was not friendly at all and just kept repeating to call a Fedex store. I told her that I was just trying to confirm that they handed it over to Fedex and she would only say that they do at the end of every day. Even if that was all she could tell me, I didnt appreciate her bad attitude. Dropping off here seems about as safe as tossing your box on the side of the road and hoping Fedex will get it.I also found it suspicious that I had tape in my hand to seal up the box when dropping it off, and the girl said not to worry about that and she would take care of it. Next time I will always seal my own package.
