They are 🧤 handling online orders as well as people who arrive, and there were a lot.All sorts of sizes for 🍨 ice-cream.I had a rum raisin, my son a chocolate 🍨 ice-cream and my friend, she had a raspberry sundae. Remember to ask for napkins.Plenty of parking 🅿️. Facemasks required. Picnic tables available. I was able to use Planet Fitness Wifi.Went back again. Ordered online. It took a serious attempt to order online, but, my friend and I were successful. I ordered a mint chip. Tasted good 😋. Sugar cones are 10¢ extra.

Friendly, rather fast, and great ice cream. Keep in mind that their large is 5 huge scoops, with their smalls having 3 scoops. Definitely getting a bang for your buck.

As someone who has a dairy allergy, I was happy to see dairy free options. Unfortunately when I ordered a frappe they did not have dairy free milk. When I asked if they were out or if they only used whole milk, the cashier rolled her eyes. Luckily the ice cream we got was great!

We stopped in for a post-covid vaccine treat. There were many flavors ... so hard to choose. Beware, the portion size is enormous. We got the smallest size. It was plenty.They have a good-sized parking lot and there were a bunch of picnic tables out front. We didnt see any bathroom facilities.

The ice cream was excellent, and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I discovered Hodgies by chance while passing through the area, but its an ice cream place thats worth going out of your way for.

Best ice cream in Newburyport. Order the hodgie size, everything else is huge! But who complains about too much ice cream? The ice cream is super smooth and every flavor I’ve tried has been amazing. Picnic tables to sit outside and eat.

The sundie was very good I had banana 🍌 🍨 with hot fudge and marshmallow and the price was reasonable @ $6.00 and some change

A covid friendly experience. The ice cream was really good and they have some bun seasonal flavors. I would go with 4.5 stars if I could but the flavor was just short of rocking a 5. Serving size is HUGE so think carefully before going up a size.

This is a classic New England ice cream treat! Love that they make their own ice cream and have lots of toppings for sundaes. They have a lot of benches outside so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. This is also a super family friendly place. Definitely worth the trip!

Portions were huge, service was fine, although not being able to eat in your car in the parking lot, seems like a little much. Yes, I know its a pandemic. Blueberry ice cream tasted allot more like sugar, than blueberries.

Be careful what you ask for. This ice cream shop is, at best, confused about the meaning of 1-scoop. Put it this way,...if you happen to have a spare forklift with you when you get here, then go ahead and order 1 scoop. Youll need the forklift to hoist you into your car seat after. ;)

Ordered choc chip frozen yogurt on Mother’s Day. It was awful not smooth and tasted like freezer burn. Had better elsewhere.

Went here to get cadbury mini egg ice cream. sounds amazing, right? nope. mostly vanilla ice cream with a couple of eggs crushed in. cant stand when this happens with ice cream places. you say mini eggs? then put some in the ice cream already!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is hands down best ice cream place ever. Theres a huge difference between Hodgies and Hodgies Too and let me tell you Hodgies Too is the place you want to go to! The costumer service here is always amazing regardless if theres a wait. The portions are worth every penny! The ice cream here is the best ice cream in the world. It’s so whipped and creamy!

Great ice cream no matter which flavor you choose. Mine are Coffee Heath Bar and Chocolate Walnut.

Staff is young a little inconsistent lacking attention to detail. The other locations are more experienced.

Generally get a sundae and moose track ice cream, but there is a wide selection of ice creams. Portion sizes are great. Lines can be long, but move quickly. Id recommend pants and long sleeves - for whatever reason, the mosquitos were insane this summer.

Let me start off with you get a HUGE amount of Ice Cream for a reasonable price. That’s the best part about it and the fact they carry my absolute favorite banana Ice cream. They are sometimes a tad bit slow but it’s okay, I just explore the menu anyway while I wait. Staff are friendly. I found a raisin in my cake batter ice cream once, it’s cool just added a little texture but God forbid someone might’ve been allergic. Anywho, definitely recommend it. Good vibe from the atmosphere !
