The floral department of Newcastle’s QFC took care of all of my floral needs for the first day of school, and I had an absolutely amazing experience. The associate Maurice went above and beyond to ensure that every bouquet was perfect, and I got tons of compliments on them.I highly recommend their department to anyone who wants to get beautiful flowers!

The go-to for groceries, of course. Especially when you dont want to pack your own lunch! I like going here for grab and go workaday food as well as everything I need for meals at home. Most cashiers are very nice and helpful, too. Just remember to bring your own grocery bag if you can. Parking can be a bear with people trying to dash in or rush off, so stay patient as cars either whirl or crawl through the sometimes congested lot.

Needed to exchange propane tank, checked Google maps, to my surprise QFC had it. The only other place I know its Home Depot, but QFC is so much closer. Love it! And same price 19.99, I expected Home Depot to be cheaper. Love it!Got meet for stake, also good prices, our evening was great! 😉

My favorite grocery store. Much better than the Safeway across the street in all ways. The workers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You can be in and out of the store in half of the time that you would spend at the Safeway across the street. As someone who works in the same strip mall, it is nice to have good places to visit. Great place in general

Jenny in customer service is very unprofessional and Racist. I let management know who they have working out on their sales floor and management has not done anything to address what happened. If I could I would give this qfc no stars. Please shop somewhere else that welcomes everyone!

Bought lots of produce this morning. Everything good except the fruit at bottom of raspberry package was gummy and stuck together with green mold.Called the store to inform them, asked to be connected with manager, was told one moment please, then instead left me on hold for exactly 10 minutes until being hung up on. Oh well.Otherwise clean, usually friendly and sometimes informed employees, but also always some weird management gaps or whatever at this location.

Its a quaint and quiet littleSupermarket with allthe essentials. Even has a restroom for convenience. Prices are low on some items, so either use a shopping app or take time when browsing aisles for super sales. No QFC card? No worries. Use your Fred Meyer card on checkout. Great friendly staff at this location. Still couldnt find razor blades at the store though.

Produce at QFC is always better than the Safeway across the street. Ive brought back produce from Safeway that goes bad within a day. The quality of produce from QFC seems fresher.They have self checkouts at QFC while the Safeway across the street does not. Just dont take a bunch of stuff through the self-checkout. Its not really designed for a cart full of groceries.

The people who work here are very friendly and helpful. The lines are much quicker than the Safeway across the street. It is my goto grocery store.

Great experience! I had shoulder surgery recently and have been coming to QFC because of fast in and out with self check. Its good to try to use my shoulder so good to use the self check. Today a piece of meat did not ring up and the guy (always there) could not get it to work. Meat came up and she could not, then a manager I cant remember name....starts with a B? Anyway they figured it out and where super friendly and she got me a coffee since I had to wait....thats awesome! Thank you QFC great customer service and solved the issue.

Our favorite store. People are friendly. We can always find a bargain for good food, especially produce and meat/fish.

Overall, the biggest difference between QFC and the Safeway across the street is the employees, who are a thousand times more personable and helpful. This is the main reason I prefer to shop at QFC. Occasionally there will be a product or special sale at Safeway that causes me to go there, and that will always be the case. Keith in Wine, Loretta at Checkout, the wonderful lady who works back in the Seafood department, everyone in Bakery, the lady in Floral, and I could go on and on. The only reason this review is not a five start is because the Dairy department is subpar. For the last two years they have been unable to effectively rotate their stock, so that more often than not when I look for the Twin Brooks milk that I buy there, the product on their shelves has passed the expiration date. I have brought this to their attention repeatedly over the past two years with every manager and assistant manager who has worked there that I could find, and they simply are not able to manage it. I was there today, April 21, and the 1% milk on the shelf was expiring today! They have renovated the Fresh Produce department which is nice. They are attempting to bring more exciting products into the store. One thing that does concern me is that employee turnover appears to be very high, and many of their best are no longer there. They need to be careful here and understand what makes their store different from the one across the street.

Small QFC store doesnt carry a lot selections. I was stop by the breads section to buy some bread not many choices.

Frozen pizza is always on sale! Since i never cook this is perfect. And the employees are awesome.

Not a bad Safeway though seems it could choose to be either a higher end or more thrift focused store. Seemed caught in the middle with long cashier wait lines.

Seems to be going downhill. Fruits and vegs not fresh. Regularly out of items I need. Dont Cary items that other QFCs Cary. Also hate being forced into self check.

The store is not that great and it can be hard to find stuff, but most of the time I can get out of there really quickly and efficently.

Overall cheaper than Safeway but meat is sort of below quality compared to Safeway (right across the street). Between the 2 stores, you can pretty much find everything you want.
