Came here based on Google reviews and when I arrived it turns out they were a Subaru certified collision repair Center which sweetened the deal. Overall great work and honest employees. they were very clear on what they were going to do in regards to repairing my vehicle and ensured me that I could not be able to tell the difference in paint. I highly recommend taking your Subaru here for collision repairs or any type of vehicle to be honest. Good quality shop.

I brought my car for repairs after a small collision. The service was friendly and thorough. My car looks good as new. An added bonus, the car interior was cleaned as well!

The quality of the work is pretty good, but the office personnel is the reason for the 2 stars. I let a friend borrow my truck, he dented my tailgate down to the bare metal with a wheelbarrow. I received a verbal quote from Mike at $800 which could go up to $1300-$1400 IF color blending was required. I received a phone call from Dan after I scheduled the work and was informed “good news we can save the tailgate, and we don’t need to color blend. Looking at around $1300”. First I sure hope the tailgate can be saved, the dents were about the size of a half dollar scratches were 6”x6” (photos included). Second, what happened to the approximately $800? Dan was unaware of the conversations I had with Mike and agreed to try to keep it around $1,100 only because I had a competitor quote. This was a cash job, no insurance since my buddy felt bad. After I got the truck back and reviewed the invoice, I was charged $170+ for “electrical diagnostic work”. My truck is as plain as it gets. No fancy camera, no power lift gate, no power lock on it, nothing of the sort. For all intents and purposes, I could have taken the tailgate off, dropped it to the shop and drove without a tailgate for a few days. Dan informed me the 2 HOURS at $85/Hour of diagnostic work is standard/required by GM (knowing full well it was probably plugged into the system for 30 minutes total). I get when there is an actual collision GM would require the diagnostic, but for the tailgate from a wheelbarrow? I also could understand charging the diagnostic to insurance but when it’s coming via cash and already well over the original verbal quote? Just doesn’t make sense. When I called the shop to ask them what the charge was for they had no interest in trying to rectify the issue or come to an agreement, it was presented as it is what it is since they already charged my card. If you’re looking for some work to be done and want to pay cash, make sure you have a written quote before authorizing them to do anything.

Work was clean but not gonna lie . Feel like they were investigating the accident and damage more than my insurance, made me feel like I was getting called a liar . All good though it is what it is good work but not going there again

Mike and Dan were really knowledgeable and understanding of the industry. And made me feel very welcomed and at ease. Also kept in touch with me about the progress. Excellent service!

Just picked up my car that went in for insurance work. I absolutely love it. I was even surprised when not only was the exterior washed they cleaned the inside of mu car. Tons of thanks that helped me out!!!!

Was in an accident a month ago that did some extensive damage to our car and Nationwide (great! ) recommended Turnpike Motors. Working with Turnpike we decided to fix the car rather than total it based on Turnpikes confidence they could return it to like new condition even with some frame damage.Took a little under a month to repair, but they regularly sent text with images and updates on progress. From the beginning they said it would be done by the 5th and it was done before that.Having driven it now for over a week in all conditions, I can say without reservation they did a fantastic job. As promised it seems to be as good as new. I hope that I dont need their services again, but if I do, this is where Id take my car - without hesitation.

Great staff . Auto body work was great. But,My strut was broken during the accident and it was missed. Had to find out from The dealer . When I had it serviced. Come on guys !!!

They came up with a creative solution that kept the cost low enough to do the job with excellence, while keeping it under threshold. Turnpike Motors always takes great care of me. My 2015 Corvette Z06 needed some paint touch up on the front hood scoop and they did an amazing job. It looks better than the day I took delivery of the car.

The staff at Turnpike Motors worked with my insurance company and Enterprise Rent a car. I didnt have to haggle with claims adjusters or arrange for a car. They took care of everything.

Right from the beginning the started off with five star! They are very knowledgeable with what they are doing and the work they do is above and beyond. Loved how they updated me through texting with each step they had and as well as questions. Bringing your car to a shop can be stressful but this place makes you feel like your car is in great hands and it definitely is. Turnpike Motors did a phenomenal job of fixing my car. I went to them through my insurance but the process was so easy and seamless! Plus they work with Enterprise right across the street so it makes it that much easier to drop off/pick up your car and rental. They also sent updates on their progress with pictures - a nice touch. I would definitely recommend and I would 100% go back if I ever got into another accident (God forbid!)

Could not be happier with the repair to 2015 Silverado. I had to have the right side bed replaced after a, um, incident.They had been referred by several friends as the place to go.I contacted my insurance company and they sent the claim number directly to the shop. I got a return phone call one hour later from Dan. He explained to me that they are a GM certified shop and only used factory replacement parts, to maintain my warranty.When I dropped off the truck, Dan walked me through the damage and repair procedures. Completely explained what it would entail and the time frame to expect.All the repairs were just as described and done with excellent detail. These are car guys fixing your car. The pride in workmanship shows. Ya can’t get better then that!Thanks everyone for the great service and getting my baby looking brand new.

You did a very fine job on the repair. What I didn’t like is you didn’t respect my wishes to not move anything and to not vacuum I have lots of Tiny little parts and pieces related to my business that often end up on the floor. You moved things and vacuumed- parts are gone and it appears you also broke the interior plastic running floor trim. So I’m not exactly happy.

They did an amazing Job on my new 4Runner that got hit with a rock from a lawnmower about a month after I got it. They took care of it in 2 days. Great customer service and Looks good as new!!! I Definitely recommend these guys if you need any body work done.

Sloppy job my insurance paid them $3,200 an I pay $500 deductible,They mounted my back seat and pin down my seat belts,I had to unmount the seat to get them off,also my back seat dont lock,dont know what they did to it,My rear spoiler is not attached like it should be to the trunk lid before n after the same way after repairs were done,my trunk those not pop open with keyless entry witch it did before and after accident, not now after they supposedly replace trunk lid,hinges and trunk lock,rods etc. Missing clips that hold down spare tire cover. Horrible buffing job I can see swirl mark all over the paint. Its 2004 but I, keep it in tip top shape like the first day I, took it off the dealer lot with 0 miles. This people think that is a older vehicle that owners dont care. I,went to school for body shop repair. Car owners take pics of car before repair n after. With amount of money my insurance pay you guys I shouldnt have to go back for flaws you techs did. Its very inconvenient to have to go back and forth with this issues for me, good thing is my insurance is the one dealing with them. Sorry your not getting my business neither my insurance on my behalf. Update to their response,the small gift they gave me, a expire gift card. Thank you.

Turnpike Motors Auto Body had my car a part before my insurance company asked for an estimate. That is service. My parts were ordered the next day and painted and installed three days later. That was efficient. The paint matched perfectly. That was not expected. That was very professional. My rental car was there within 15 minutes and that told me they cared. What else could you have asked for.. Great Job...

My car was hit in a parking lot. Not good. But really impressed with the work done to fix my G8. They went above and beyond my expectations and the car looks brand new. Had a great experience with them and will use them again in the future, but hopefully I wont need to for quite a while.

My car got rear-ended just a few months shy of the first anniversary of me buying it. I researched where to bring it for repairs and was fortunate to find Turnpike Autobody on the list of Subaru Certified Collision Centers near me. Im so grateful for Mike, Dan and the team at Turnpike Autobody -- they were the sole bright spot in what was otherwise a frustrating process. Turnpike Autobody was quick to schedule me, stayed in constant communication throughout the repair period, and worked tirelessly (more than I could imagine) to deal with the other partys insurance directly. When the repairs were completed, they walked me through all of their work and my car looked just as good as the day I drove it off the lot brand new less than a year ago, which was a great feeling. I hopefully wont need them for collision repairs again, but if that day comes - or if family, friends or fellow Subaru owners need a recommendation - Turnpike Autobody is where to go.

Had a great experience with Turnpike Motors. They kept me updated throughout my vehicle repairs, which I really appreciated. Also, getting a rental vehicle was easy because they work with Enterprise, which is right across the street. My vehicle was returned to me in mint condition, and they even detailed it for me! Was involved in a motor vehicle accident, and Turnpike Motors was very welcoming and transparent of the repair and turnaround time. They kept me up to date throughout the entire repair, which was completed earlier than expected. The car does not even look like it suffered the damage it did. The added exterior and interior detailing was a nice touch as well. Highly recommend.

He gave really good advice about my budget and insurance. The wait time is very fast as well, it only took a week for my car to get fixed and it looked absolutely AMAZING! It looked brand new, they even made sure it was nice and clean! This is definitely the place to go if you need to fix your car! :)

Great experience here. I had an RV that needed repairs and I was also trying to sell. The repairs were done beyond expectations and Herve and his crew went above and beyond helping me while I was trying to sell the vehicle. In this day and age of so many people/businesses doing the absolute minimum, it was very refreshing to work with people who were so helpful. The final interaction with them was when the buyer picked up the vehicle there was an issue with the battery cable that they fixed on the spot so I could complete the sale. Very good idea to get informed about the progress of the repair.Last update was jun 9 I would like to have more often infoI just received my Santa Fe back. The workmanship was very good but my car was extremely dirty. You would think with the amount of money charged for this repair that the car would be at least washed before I pick it up.

I had an excellent experience at Turnpike Motors. Roy (with Travelers), Marty, and Dan were all wonderful in handling my claim. Dropping off my car was super easy as the rep from Enterprise met me there with a car and 10 minutes later I was on my way. They did a great job on the body work and picking up my car when it was ready was just as easy. They also have very convenient hours for those of us who work 9-5. Some autobody shops can be intimidating (especially to a female who does not know a lot about cars) but they made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. I would happily recommend them.

My car was hit 4/17 and had some serious rear end damage. From the time I brought the car in, until the time I picked it up, Dan and Mike kept me up to date on how the progress was going. Mike would email me pictures of updates, showing me the progress of the repair. Mike and Dan took care of dealing with the insurance company and even handled my car rental. When I didnt like the car that was rented for me, they called Enterprise and got me something more suitable. Mike and Dan are very professional and worked very hard to make sure I was happy. All my calls and emails to them were returned in a timely manner. I couldnt ask for better customer service. When my repair was complete, Dan told me if I found any issues with the repair, bring it back, and it will be addressed. Found one small issue and Mike made sure it was taken care of.Now, lets talk about the guys in the shop, the guys on the front line that make these repairs possible. I dont know who worked on the car, but these guys (or ladies) made my car look great. I was was a little nervous because of the severe damage, but they did an amazing job.Now, a message to the owner. I sure hope the people that work for you are getting a nice Christmas BounusTurnpike Motors has been in business for many years. They havent been in business this long because they are just average. I would highly recommend this body shop and will continue to use them whenever I need them.

Turnpike Motors is the place to go for any autobody repairs! They do excellent work and their customer service is outstanding. My vehicle was repaired just like new.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! They took over a month to repair my car and the damage was minor. The repair was not exceptional and I had to go back to them more than once for repairs they missed. They lied on the billing receipt and estimate about using genuine parts from my automaker to get more money from my insurance company. I would never use them again and I now see why that place is a revolving door when it comes to employees. Every week they have someone new working at the front desk but of course Dan is still there!

By far the WORST body shop in CT my far dont have the state farm working side by side with the body shop fool you horrible work done on my car and run around answer. I actually caught the guy in a lie about calling my insurance about information when I called myself I asked if the body shop called and the insurance people said they recieved no call when the body shop said they did pure lazy!

I am extremely pleased with both the repair and the customer service. I had a nightmare dealing with a bad insurance company, but Dan and the team at Turnpike went above and beyond to help get things resolved. I cant recommend them high enough!
