Newington pizza is our goto pizza place in town. Always great service and the pizza is one of the best around in My opinion. The free pudding that comes with the large pizza is also very good!

Purchased two large pizzas for our group and everyone commented on how good they were, especially their special.

Our favorite place to get pizza in Newington! There are other good options but NP takes the cake (pizza). We will order once every other week. Great cheese, sweet(er) sauce, not-to-crunchy crust. Overall a great pie. Its not just the pizza either, we love their garlic bread, salads, and chicken tenders. Even the ranch side is a fav. The woman who works at the front cashier is very friendly and personable, my girlfriend has seems like she is best friends with her lol. The pizza is cut in squares, but you can ask for them to cut in triangles and I enjoy that to mix it up as well.

Called in for pickup. Pizza was ready and hot. No mistakes. Pizza exactly as ordered. Although there were several customers in front of me, counter staff was friendly, and quickly moved through the line.They make a good tasting Pizza, with plenty of sauce and cheese, and reasonably priced.They also serve grinders.I support our local businesses and highly recommend Newington Pizza

Good food at a good price!

The pizza was good, but the buffalo wings were very disappointing!!! They were plain fried wings with no flavor (both the mild and hot). And, even though I specifically asked for blue cheese while picking up my order they were served with ranch.

We really like getting a pie from Newington Pizza with hamburger, onions, peppers(red peppers) and mushrooms. We ordered this tonight and the pie we received was missing the peppers...still good and mistakes happen... they realized the pizza they sent was missing the peppers and next thing we knew the delivery person was back with another pizza as ordered... That is wonderful customer service! Thank you Newington Pizza!!!!

Small place but busy and great food

Seriously considering never going here again. Hygiene is not high on the ownerships agenda. Customer service is also lacking. In these trying time when restaurant are struggling. Customer service cost nothing and the proper treatment of paying patrons is a very easily attainable goals for any service industry.Look elsewere nothing special here.

Possibly one of best pizza places in newington! I usually go there once a week. The owner and staff are superb with excellent customer service. Excellent pizza quality as well as other food options. Great place to eat at! I highly recommend a stop here for a quick tasty bite!

I cant say enough about this restaurant. The moment I got on the phone with them, they were courteous, patient, and accommodating, not to mention, just plain nice. We ordered our pizza and salad and it came within 5 min of the time promised to us. I was very impressed!Now lets get to the good part! I ordered half chicken Parmesan, and Mediterranean white pizza. Just one word needed!! CAN YOU SAY, YUMMY! After every savory juicy bite I had to say, Damn this is soooo good!. Thanks for an amazing lunch! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!

Newington 🍕 Pizza is in Newington Center, great location.It’s eat in/ delivery. The prices are decent, the food is very tasty.I’m not a Pizza person, but this one is actually worth trying, I like it allot. I also like extra crispy chicken, allot of places I ordered chicken, you get saggy chicken skin, they make extra crispy if you request. Their set up inside is cute, could need little update, but not to bad. I definitely recommend you to try this Pizza place if you live locally.

I tried a pie for the first time about 4 years ago when I worked in Newington - when I’m in the area, it’s my go to.... and I’m generally an original Pepe’s and Sally’s guy on Wooster ( Woo-sta) st. New Haven. Great quality pies with good prices and services. Try the sausage!!

The lady who answer the phone was very gentle and educate and pacience to hear my order ( I am a Spanish Speaker ) address and all that sometimes can be difficult but she was super nice ( not like in the other places), I order the pizza, a large with pepperoni and mushrooms for my brother and my 6 years old, they was happy with it .. Very satisfy ... When I get back from work I eat a couple of slices and after several hours Pizza was very delicious . Thanks so much Newington Pizza .. Hope to order again soon. ; )

Owner fighting with employees-food is good-2 young girls making pizza boxes with there hair in the boxes. Was a good place till the young people they hired got there, always on there cell phones. Over the last 3 years my family amd I have eaten there 2 times a week. We wont go back.

I waited an hour for my food. I called to cancel they didn’t even apologize and kept lying saying they are a couple minutes away for another 23 minutes. When I called back to cancel and speak to the manager he argued with me and said it was an hour and 10 minutes !!! Terrible customer service not worth it

No matter what you order from chicken parm to a pizza or French fries or rice pudding its 😋 delicious none in. Newington to my liking had better pizza. They do have two huge downfalls which is the long ass wait time on delivery and phone manners are nasty.

Food is pretty good. Their calzone, in particular, is one of the best Ive had. The people are nice enough. Prices are not cheap but reasonable for the quality of the food. However, they take an extremely long time to serve or deliver. Yesterday we ordered delivery at 6:15pm and our food arrived at 7:35pm; we were told it would take 45 minutes. My wife ordered a BLT with no mayo; instead they delivered a BLT with no lettuce (a BT?). To be fair this is the first time they actually screwed up the order. We have ordered from or eaten there many times over the last few years. However, the speed of the service is always - and I mean always - problematic and it doesnt seem to matter whether you order via delivery or wait in the restaurant itself, or whether its at a busy hour or when no one else is even there. Im reasonably patient but the slowness of the service is astounding. Its a shame because we would order or eat there more often if it werent for the incredibly slow service. If you dont mind waiting an hour and half to get your food, youre golden.

Ordered my food at 4:18 today for delivery. It is now 6:40. No food yet. I was told 45 min. My wife called back at 6pm to ask where the food was. Management said it very rudely its friday what do you expect. They took the 50 dollars or so out my account and I am still waiting.....

The owners here are great most of the staff is absolutely wonderful the food is great but there is one waitress we should not be working with the public.

Great pizza

Messed my order up two weeks in a row, the girl on the phone doesnt understand anything and they never repeat the order or tell you how much so it figures they continuously mess it up. Not too mention theyre pizza is getting less and less tasty.

Ordered here a few times food ok, not great. Then we try to order one night the girl picks up the phone with an attitude then tells us we live to far for delivery even though they have been here multiple times. Bad service wont try to order again.
