I went in today do pick out some frames and Jessie was so helpful. They were covid safe and super friendly and Jessie, in particular, was super helpful Nd ho est about what she thought I should get. In the end, I decided on the frames she picked first, for my face. Overall a really good experience
Went in to the optical shop today to purchase a new pair of glasses for my son. Haven’t been in the optical shop since COVID hit, last pair of glasses purchased were almost exactly one year ago. I called before I went to make sure there wasn’t an appointment needed due to COVID. The person that answered the phone was very polite and explained the hours for purchase and dispensing so I knew when to go. When I arrived, the optical shop was roped off and there was only 1 other customer in the optical shop. Roslee was the one who tended to me and my son. She was great with explanations, and their COVID protocols are top notch. She wouldn’t let us even touch the frames on the wall, she picked them up and disinfected them before my son tried them on. They have signs on the tables letting everyone know if a station is cleaned and ready for the next customer. I work in healthcare and was quite impressed with the level of thoroughness. She and the other person working (Angela) were both very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Thank you ladies!! Also, the new optical shop is very nice and sleek looking, much improved!
I understand they are remodeling, but after repeated calls on different days, there was no one answering. They need a dedicated person to handle inquiries!!
If I could score this center any lower I would do it in a heartbeat. I am currently deployed and am in need of new glasses. The width, height, length of my lenses/glasses and so on and so forth are all things I am currently in need of. I called the vision center I visited before I left and I was told I’d be transferred to a doctor. Doctor never picked up and I was transferred to another department. When I explained what I was looking for, they cut me off and transferred me back to the vision center. The vision center representative then transferred me back to the doctors number, who - AGAIN - did not pick up. I am genuinely upset that this is how you treat your customers, and military service members. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who is in the service since they don’t bother to actively help us in our time of need.
Stay away... stay far far away
If I could rate it zero I would. I have been going there since I was a child. Their customer service has become horrible.
I use to like this vision center. I had an appt in march right at the beginning of this pandemic mess so they cancelled my appt. I recieved emails a few months later stating they were seeing patients again but not on Saturdays. I have medicaid insurance and they say they only see medicaid patients on Saturdays. I call every few weeks to see if they are open on Saturdays yet. NOPE. At this point its been 6 months that ive been waiting for my cancelled appt to be rescheduled. I was in an accident and no longer have my glasses so i am desparate. I cant see! You would think they would set aside ONE SINGLE DAY of the week for us poor people that need it most. If you can be open during the week to see people with regular insurance then whats one more day (Saturday) going to matter? So i am forced to go else where. Not sure where at this point. A lot of places dont accept medicaid. So thanks for Nothing walmart vision center!
I literally called 45 minutes before to make sure they were open and currently taking prescriptions for glasses. I drove 40 minutes to get here to be told they weren’t taking new orders. The lady was very rude and didn’t seem to care about doing her job. If they were closed, all they had to do was say that over the phone. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
I will say in my past visits I never had a problem with them but just recently. I called asking about walk ins and the lady who name is Angela answered the phone huffed and to me I should be there before 9am or after the 2pm lunch. I called back to schedule and once again Angela answers. She asked if I was paying with insurance and I told her yes and that I also called earlier. She tells me that the lady who make the appointments will be there shortly and places me on hold. No one never came to the phone and it was a good 10mins. I just scheduled with another company. The customer service is horrible.
I wish there was a way to give a lower score. This fool gave my wife a script and then told her she didnt need glasses that she had 20/20 vision. Now we have wasted our insurance coverage on an eye exam that was BS!!!! Never ever use them.Update: after this review she was contacted by Walmart and they rescheduled a recheck with a new doctor. This doctor was much more thorough and informative. I am absolutely satisfied with this new exam.
Had an excellent experience. Doctor & staff did an excellent job in taking care of my needs. They suggested options and provided me with the information to make choices. Love the fact they have Saturday hours.
The doctor is amazing, but customer service is terrible. Ive been calling the l last past week and no one been answering the phone to schedule an appointment.
Dr. Voyce did a very complete exam of my eyes, and I was able to receive new glasses in a few days. I found all of the staff to be very friendly and professional.
I think the Dr. was great! He was very kid friendly and I liked that. My daughter has Peachcare and when it was time to pick glasses they took her to the back and opened a drawer and told her she could choose from there. I felt like it was degrading. Also when my husband picked them up we didnt even get a case to put them in! Just were handed them and told we could purchase a case. I know this has a lot to so with the fact that the insurance covers the glasses, but the Dr. gets paid for it! I think the customer service for people on Peachcare/ Medicaid could be handled way better!
At the time I had Medicaid & I received a pair of glasses free. When I went to pick them up, I was just handed them and was told thank you.I asked for them to be adjusted & was told if we break them we wont be responsible so, I suggested they dont break them. After 3 attempts at getting them adjusted, I gave up because the associate could not be bothered with trying to get them to fit my face.I got the impression from the associate since they were free...the glasses & I were not worth their time..When I asked the associate how mush harder it is to adjust the free glasses over the glasses that are paid for, I didnt get an answer!!
I arrived tonight at 6:30pm after doing some grocery shopping and seeing that the lights were still on at the opticians office. I had been meaning to make a routine eye exam apt but hadn’t gotten around to calling so when I saw they were open I walked in to make the apt in person as I have been to several Walmart vision centers in the past (in a different state) with no complaints! You could tell that they were closing/coming to the end of the day so the front desk girl and technicians didn’t exactly seem excited to see me walk in but they still helped me. (OTHER offices may have said to me “were closed mam” or something like that) I told the young lady what apt I wanted to set up and after us going back and forth for a few minutes trying (And failing) to set up a time in my busy schedule, Dr Voyce peeked around the corner and asked what it was I needed. She informed Him, and he asked me if I had time right now to do it, I said well yes I do ! So I was able to get my eye exam done on the spot. I found that to be so helpful and accommodating! I had just gotten off work and this is the nearest Walmart to me (I live 35 min away from nearest Walmart or vision center but work in newnan) so I was thrilled to be able to “check” This Off my list without having to use up part of my weekend for it or make a special trip to town! The entire time Dr Voyce was so friendly, asking questions I felt like he was trying to get to know me as a person and a patient, not just a number as some drs do, and he was methodical and patient with me despite the late hour. I would go back and highly recommend Dr Voyce!
Outrageous! If I could give them zero stars I would! My appointment was at 2:45 and at 2:30 I am called (while I am driving to the appt.) and asked if I can come in early because the doctor was done for the day and could see me early. I informed the lady that I was on my way there but it would be 2:45 (my appt. time) before I arrived. I was told this was fine and they would see me when I got there. I got stuck at the light in front of the office and out of courtesy I called and said I was at the light about to turn in and would have to park and again was told no problem. I walked into the office at 2:50 and was greeted only for the lady to say that the doctor had already left to go to his office in PTC to fulfill other appts. there at 3:20.. I could NOT believe it! I really needed this exam and made a lot of effort to get there. What this told me was that even if I had been there at 2:45 the doctor would not have seen me or if he did there would have been no time to administer a quality exam. No way! I was there for an exam w dilation. I asked why I was not told this at 2:30 when I was in route there. The lady said the doctor did not tell her he was leaving until after she talked with me at the light so she did not know. Talk about the WORST customer service ever and shame on Dr. Richard Lipovac for putting his staff in a position to have to answer for his extremely unprofessional conduct! I will never return.
Keep hanging up on me. Im not being mean. Why are they? :(
The staff who work here seem miserable and in turn create a miserable experience. No clue what customer service looks like. Rude, uncaring, just truly miserable.
Horrible customer service, never has a licensed optician in the office. Whats the point of being open if you cannot service clients coming in????
Good shop
