Came to this place because some recommendations from friends. The food was good but probably we would try other restaurants next time. It would be just a one time thing. You need to order the food first and get your seats. If you order coffee, you need to pick it up yourself and it took almost 20 minutes to get our coffee. Skip the crepes, their Les Populaires menu probably are the best here.

Came here for breakfast on a weekend, it’s more or less fully open now with plenty of outdoor tables and even a few indoor ones.We tried some pastries over at the Laguna location and had to come try breakfast. The pastries are fantastic, I would highly recommend the coffee eclair. We had the omelette and the salad here, definitely would recommend trying breakfast but the pastries here are a must try.

This is absolutely one of my top favorite places to eat for food and pastry. Real French pastry made by people actually from France, and owned by a gentleman from France. This is about as close to France as you can get! This place is so delicious and so popular that as the day goes on and on you’ll have less and less choices because everything gets purchased so quickly and enjoyed by so many. Seriously, if you want to enjoy this on the weekend in particular get there very early. It’s absolutely well worth it, delicious, and priced appropriately. While not expensive, it is a little pricey but I can almost guarantee you that you’ll feel like you should have paid more for what you’re getting. Speaking of the pastry in particular, once you’ve enjoyed their selection, just about anything else you eat anywhere will not be as good as you thought because this place is so delicious and so well-made.

Moulin is one of my favorite bakeries in OC! They have so many authentic French desserts and pastries it can almost feel overwhelming to choose. The standout for me was the almond croissant, it was really packed with almond cream and the pastry was the right amount of flaky and crunchy. The vanilla cream bioche was also delicious, the large pieces of sugar contrast nicely with the soft dough. The desserts pictures are a raspberry pistachio cream puff and Tropezienne. Both were amazing but my favorite dessert here is the Saint Honoré. Its a combination of choux, puff party, and pastry cream. Go to Moulin and get it, you wont be disappointed!

This is my go-to brunch spot - very nice European cafe vibes, nice service, and of course, great good. The coffee and pastries steal the show! 10-11:30am is busiest on weekends, if you dont mind waiting, it gets less busy after 11:30. Met the owner as well, great guy, has done well and expanded to multiple locations. Still feels homey and comfy. Definitely recommended for a nice casual brunch!

The chicken breast I had wasvery flavorful, small proportions expensive for uncomfortable environment seating. A friend and I had gone to check it out since its new and was told that we have to sit at the bar in very uncomfortable chairs mine was getting ready to fall apart.Because we were only two we couldnt sit at a four top. Although through the course of our meal The four tops never occupied or reserved for anyone in particular. It ruined the dining experience.I hope they invest in a sound system, lighting, furniture thats comfortable and also work on their hospitality when you first walk in the door especially for those prices.

Authentic French restaurant cafe bakery all in one. All of the staff seem French with nice accents. You feel like youre in Paris. The food is high quality yet I didnt care for it. The ham is organic yet very dry and removes moisture from the rest of the dish. This applies to the Benedict, the Crepe Complete, and any other dish using the ham. I also wish they had potatoes. Instead everything comes with a side salad. The Nutella Crepe was excellent however. And the coffee was excellent.

I ordered the herb omelette and it was only 1 herb with egg and cheese but at least it came with bread and salad. My friend ordered panini and it only came by itself, little pricey for a panini with no sides. We also purchased little champagne bottles. $15 per bottle, didn’t know, recommend a bottle instead. This location has a nice outdoor dining but I’ve enjoyed other locations a little more. Total bill came out to $60 for 2, 1 order of omelette, 1 panini, no sides. 2 mini champagne and OJ.

We stand in the line and I wasnt familiar with their food and I had to explained to my mother and get help from staff too and explained about some food; ingredients or what inside the sandwiches or ... People were rude too, it was like freeway and they couldnt wait or even help and they were rushing us to get something. I send them ahead to get their food. But still. The biggest problem was that there wasnt any sign for any foods. Which one is pork, beef, chicken? Was cheese in it? Do they have gluten free food or bread? .... And people had no patient with us. This was the first and last time going to this unfriendly and unorganized place with angry staff and people. We ended spend more than $50 and didnt worth it, the worst and tasteless and very oily food I ever had. Au revoir. I was going to give them 2 stars but our order took 20 minutes only for french fries, very dry!!!! Even 1 star is too much.

I would like to give thís place 5 stars except I need to take 1 star off because of the Asian manager. So we was new to this bistro. When we walked in, there was a line in front of bakery and we known it was for the pastry. Then there was another line in front of the glass display which has all.the salads and sandwiches. We was under the impression that was the line for grab and go food. So when we saw two ladies with menu in hand was ordering at the cashier near the drink bar, we lined up after them. The Asian manager was so nice to those two ladies, making joke and stuff like that. After those two was done, we stepped up and waited for our turn. The Asian manager walked away, helping other workers. So we waited for him to finish his work and asked politely if we can order food from the cafe. He gave us an attitude and acted like we annoyed him instead of explaining to us how it works and refuse to let us order. Later, we found out that we can order food from.any.cashier, event the one at the bakery.Beside that, other workers in the cafe were great, the food was great, especially the pastry good.P.S: we are Asian too, so we are not criticize this manager because we discriminate him. A rip-off type of place. Useless and bored people working there, too. We ordered a few things for our family and didnt get much help when asking questions. For example, I asked for a cup of fruits and theyve said its seasonal fruit. Ive asked what kind they have today as I am interested in berries. They said yes, it has berries but its seasonal. I ordered that and paid a lot for exactly one raspberry, one blackberry; the rest was tasteless melon. My daughter wanted something to drink that was not sparkling. She chose a bottle that said peach iced tea. See picture. Do you think anyone there thought to mention that is not tea but a concentrate to make iced tea? Useless careless staff. And there were lots of them so definitely not overworked or overwhelmed with customers. An overpriced joke!!!
