CALbath staff were all very helpful. It started with our estimator, Darrell, who was very helpful in helping us with our design and products to use. He discussed options, then met us at the showroom to see the products and colors options. Once we agreed on a plan, he was available to us for questions and followed our progress throughout the project. Once the HOA approval and City Permit were approved, the installation progressed quickly. Colin, our installer was excellent. He arrived on time, handled all of the inspections, and did and excellent job. He was very professional, kept us informed regarding the status, and demonstrated all of the products once installed. I would highly recommend CALbath, both Darrell and Colin.

CALbath went out of their way to meet a deadline I had. I needed to get my shower/tub system replaced before my roommate returned from vacation. They were able to meet the deadline and the results are beautiful. I get compliments from my family and neighbors.Roger made it happen and the installers were fantastic!

Everyone at CalBath was professional and friendly. I wanted a full service bath remodeling company. I want interested in shopping for all of the new bathroom fixtures and furnishings, I wanted to pick them our at a showroom and be done. They have a small but complete showroom and were available when we wanted to stop in even during the pandemic. All of the tradesmen Collin, David, Jimmy, Jesus and Javier were professional, on time and communicative. We love our new bathroom and are thankful that it was completed within 3 weeks, as promised from top to bottom!

Our old original tub finally rusted through in our 63 year old home. Time for a new shower over tub. So we did a complete demo & installed a new acrylic tub/shower combo replacement with fixtures and plumbing with CALbath Reno and it turned out as promised! What I like about CALbath, besides the job quality, was their responsiveness and follow-up by the entire staff, from sales to final installation, and even after the job was complete. We need more of this in the remodeling industry. Others should look to CALbath as having a superior business model - well done!

Being offsite it was a great experience with a lot of updates being sent regularly so that I felt like I was there even though the house was empty during the renovations. Loved their quick responses and the work done was neat and just as Id asked for

I must admit, I was skeptical that re-glazing a bathtub would turn out as good-looking as installing a new tub, but this ol gnarly tub looks like a brand new one! Cal Bath was very professional from start to finish. Darrell, our salesman, was so knowledgeable on every product and helped us figure out what was best for our situation. He even remembered us 3 years later when we called him for the other bath. The quality and workmanship is superior. We looked at bath products in stores and you cant compare, its junk. The installers on both baths were very precise and left nothing for us to clean up. I have no problem with recommending this company. Cal Bath rocks!!! My bath is over 4 years and looks like it was just installed. You hope that everything goes well with an install, but generally nothing ever goes as smoothly as planned and when that happens you want to go with a company that is responsive and quick to respond. We found that with Cal Bath. We did a tub acrylic install. The installer was professional and did a great job... Except there was something not quite done correctly and a pipe started to leak a week later. When I emailed Cal Bath someone called within 2 hours. They were kind, helpful and responsive (even at 8 in the evening when they called to check on what was going on) they had a Plummer out the next day (yes even though we talked after hours they made sure it was being taken care of) and someone came to fix the install within 2 days. They then called same day and had someone out to fix any and all spots and damage from the leak (during the week if Thanksgiving too). They were so quick and efficient that I will always be going back. Hopefully no little mishap next time, but I have the reassurance that if it does happen, their response is quick, efficient and professional. Ive had places complain to me of the cost of fixing their mistakes and drag it out for weeks so I know this response is exactly what you want. We also have a wonderful looking and working shower/tub combo.

I was excited to have my cast iron bathtub refinished to complete my bathroom remodel. I contracted to have it done by CAL BATH, but heard nothing from the company to schedule my job for three weeks, so I called them. We scheduled on a Monday from 8-10 am. By 11 am no one had shown, so I called the company. I was told she would check and get back to me. At noon, I received a call that the guys would be here by 3 pm...noting I had to be out of my home during the process and 5 hours after...which would have put me returning home at midnight...with pets in tow. I learned this when the technicians arrived, so I declined service until a more convenient time, thus, I was scheduled for the next week, between 8-10 am. One entire day lost!On the second scheduled day, Brian arrived at 9 am and was delightful and did a great job. He had to come back to buff out an area, but the tub looks awesome and I would recommend Brian to anyone needing this service.Now they needed to come back to reinstall the tub enclosure. Again, I was scheduled from 8-10 am on Friday. I waited patiently, only to call to find out I wasnt even on the schedule, so I was told they would show up by the end of the day. NOT! That didnt happen either! It didnt get on the schedule either! So I was told he would be out the next day by the end of the day again. NOPE! That didnt happen either...I again was not on the schedule! TWO MORE DAYS LOST! Do you see a pattern here?I was then scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving at 11 am. At 9 am I received a call from CAL BATH to schedule my reinstall. Really?I told the girl I already had an appointment, but I wanted to speak to a manager. She said she would escalate my call.HALLELUJAH! Exactly at 11 am the worker arrived and installed the tub enclosure. Finis!By this time I was so upset with all the time I missed from work and missed appointments. I received a call from Dan, one of the owners, and relayed my plight. He listened, was very apologetic, and made amends. I was pleased with the outcome and having Dan call showed me he really does care about his company and their service.This company came highly recommend to me by others, including my son, but I was just fortunate enough to experience total incompetence!Would I recommend them to anyone else? Sure, because it looks like I am the exception rather than the rule. Id even give them another go! Thanks Dan and Brian!

CalBath did a fantastic job refinishing my old tub. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Brian was especially helpful throughout the project.

Project was a complete remodel of the master bathroom. Preliminary design started off nice.Once the project turned into detail, the process deteriorated.There were preferences and design components we had outlined in the showroom. Designer was then to turn that into a detailed quote. The quote we then received was weeks later, 5 pages of line items, with only 1 a subtotal/total. No break down anywhere.Additionally, he had made design and component changes against some specific items we requested. A good designer would do this to make sure the customer wasnt over spending... However in our case the changes amounted to less than 1% of the estimate.We had to ask twice for a breakdown in the quote. We didnt even want line by line, just major milestones. This process spanned a month.There were 2 changes we wanted to make to the quote, asking for an updated quote.The only correspondence we got from the office was do you have any questions about your quote.To which I restated my questions. Rinse, repeat.We moved on to another builder, they had much better customer service, spent much more time with us in the design stage...End result, they completed in half the time CalBath estimated, came in at 40% less than CalBath.Happy we went a different route.

Roger was awesome in working with me to upgrade a very old and neglected bathroom. Nestor and his assistant did a great job in the installation, they kept the noise and mess to a minimum. Would hire Calbath again without any hesitation

Terrible service, do not use Calbath.Took them 3 times to spray my tub, and they never got it right. Avoid CalbathThey pay customers for good reviews or pay to have bad reviews changed. They tried to get me to change mine.

We live in a 46 year old house and both bathrooms were showing their age with 7 of us using them for nearly 30 years until kids moved out. In 2012 I looked online for a company that would renew them without having to tear everything out. I visited CalBath in Newport Beach and was impressed with their products, so scheduled a time for someone to come by and look at our main bathroom. He told us precisely what would be done, how much time it would take, the cost, and the choice of what materials to use. An installer was scheduled; he was here 2 days total, everything was done very professionally and he even cleaned up the garage where he had stored materials and cut everything. So in the spring of 2013 we scheduled the master bath shower to be done. Again-everything was done very professionally, and clean-up was perfect. We have had many compliments from friends. Even our friend who is a perfectionist in everything he has done in his house was impressed. We would not hesitate to recommend CalBath to anyone looking for a bathroom remodeler.
