Best place you can go to get a fishing pole and fishing lures and reels and clothes they are so knowledgeable the guys are great I wouldnt go anywhere else and get my fishing rod
I am both happy and sad that this company and its attached store are so far away from where I live. Great selection of amazing fishing rods, super high quality equipment, if they were any closer I would be broke.
The rods are great but pray you never have to rely on their Corporate office for help. I have left a dozen voicemails, my callback #, tried emailing 2 different departments. Zero response.
If you’re near St Croix In Park Falls, Wi, I highly recommend taking the factory tour. Our guide Ken was awesome at explaining and showing every step of how a rod was made. He knew all the employees by name and thanked each one for their time. Really great guy and really interesting to see how these famous rods are made. Seemed like a great company to work with and for.
My wife and i enjoyed the tour and the store. A must stop for anyone curious on how their rod is made.

I have called this company twice, lots of promises. nothing ever panned out, i have over 12 rods i use from this company, i broke 3 of them out of the tube first cast, they lost my business, Never again will i buy from St Croix,, loved some of the rods, but quality went down hill, Some of the other tourney guys i talked to say the same thing
They make some very nice rods, I have 7 of them and really like them for walleye fishing. Their service is a bit of a struggle. I have been on hold for a couple of hours, left messages and still no luck. I just had the ceramic fall out of the guide but cant seem to connect with them.
They really take care of consumer. Best rod Ive never had. They keep many models of ready to ship spare tips. Awesome aftersale service and warranty program. An established, famous and quality brand who really worth the investment !
We took the tour with Ken and it last about 90 minutes. A fantastic experience if you like factory tours. They take you from step one the a finished rod, which touches over 30 hands before its complete. Now I understand why these rods demand such high prices. High quality that will last you a long time!In regards to the store, they have great workers that can answer any question you have about the type of rod you need and how to use it. The warranty is also top notch. Worth a drive over from Hayward if you are staying there!
This is a first class fishing tackle store with very reasonable prices, the staff is excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful, consider upgrades to your fishing rod as there is no better quality then a St. Croix rod, it’s a rod for life built by fishing folks for fishing folks.
We all know St. Croix makes the best rods on earth, now we know they have one of the best Customer Service departments on earth. I broke this rod in Canada last year and my dad just stopped in the store to inquire about options. They replaced on the spot. This is why I have 10+ of these rods and this is why i will by 10+ more.

We stopped in to look for some apparel to wear to the BEC Musky Tournement this week. We were excited to represent Park Falls. The selection wasnt bad, but I was greatly disappointed that after wandering around for 20 minutes, I was never approached. The other gentleman shoppers seemed to be the only ones the two older guys working seemed to have interest in.My husband net me there and we were able to agree on matching shirts that would display the St. croix name proudly.Hoping for a larger selection of ladies clothing with some summer wear as well as just Tshirts.
Best rods on earth no doubt great staff at their store go above and beyond to help and satisfy your needs. Wouldnt buy any other rods quality is always a priority for them. As they say you get what you pay for!!
Was able to get my rods fixed/replaced quickly under warranty! Had an employee explain jn depth what exactly theyre doing inside the part of the factory you can see from the store. Good people here

They have an abundance of rods for sale. If youre looking for a certain St Croix rod they will definitely have it. They also have some decent reels and other items too. But this place is not what I expected, thought it would have had a lot more inventory and been a lot larger than it was. Its definitely a cool store, just wish it was bigger and had more fishing gear to choose from.

This place has EVERYTHING you need for fishing. I have come here numerous times over the past few years to purchase gifts for my husband and seeing as I dont know a lot about fishing, I come in with a ton of questions. Every sales person who has helped has been fantastic. They take the time to explain anything to me. They have been patient & thorough and I always walked out informed and with a great gift for my husband.I highly recommend that you shop for your fishing needs!!

Tour was great and the pro shop store had every rod you could ask for. Some great specials and also very good deals on returned rods that have been put back into service at great savings.Reservations are required for the tour so call or email ahead of time.Also on a side note...the customer service is the best of the best. Contrary to what another reviewer posted the warranty process is painless and is exactly what it states. What is covered is clearly spelled out. The process of getting a replacement rod is also painless. I believe that St. Croix has, without any question the best customer service and warranty / replacement/ upgrade policy in the industry.Still the best!

Went in prepared to spend 300-400 on a new rod, customer service was atrocious. Told us we had 6 minutes to purchase and they were kicking us out. Guess Ill get a g loomis.
Ordered a triumph 7’6” medium heavy thinking I’d try a new rod out I normally only use shimano zodias rods, when I opened my box I was expecting the middle of the pole to be broken, when I opened the package the top eye lid was cramped shut in an oval instead of a circle like it should be, the top of the box was not smash and the pole was not sticking out of the box so that means they didn’t care when they shipped it it was damaged at there factory and not by ups, they just didn’t care they threw it in there and shipped it. It was arriving a day before our fishing trip with a couple friends, unfortunately I had to stick with the stuff I’ve been using instead of using a longer rod I ordered, I won’t ever make this mistake again and anyone reading this shouldn’t make the same mistake, st croix rods are terrible, buy shimano or some other higher end rods. I talked to the manger Steve he acted like the inconvenience was no big deal. I would not and do not recommend doing buisness with this company

St Croix fishing rods are awesome! They have a great warranty which is important when your spending big money to get the best. If you cant afford a new rod, stop in and check out their bargain bins! They sell repaired rods at steep discounts. Ive bought many of these over the years and they are still my favorite go to poles. This is also a full service bait and tackle shop.
Awesome place to go and take the tour if your an avid fisherman. To see the rod building process on quality rods from beginning to end was a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend it if you are in the Park Falls Wisconsin area.

I was up to their Customer Appreciation Day today June 16,2018. The place was packed. I love their fishing rods. I have used them for years and never ever had a problem. Their Customer Service is fantastic. At the end of May, I had the misfortune of braking the tips of not one but two rods. (Legend Elite models) I had called ahead and talked to Gretchen in customer service. She told me to bring my complete rods up and to see her in the warranty tent. When we got there, we made some other purchases. (their prices during this sale are GREAT). She knew who I was from my other correspondence. She looked at rods and immediately replaced the tip sections of both of my rods.
Great people behind counter, answering phones & making the best rods. I made a day trip out of the purchase.
They got rid of their bargain bin rods which they have been doing as far back as I remember. Drove from the Twin Cities to get some. Very disappointing.
Great customer service!I stopped in on a work trip and found a 5wt “C” stock rod to my liking (which he helped me realize is more of a 6wt due to the tip being shortened/repaired) I also picked up a 10wt “B” stock rod and took advantage of the free reel/line combo special they had running (1/29/2019). The guys threw in a 6wt reel/line combo for my C stock “because you drove so far in this cold”. (From Stevens Point).Top notch service! St Croix just earned themselves a customer for life!
Have always loved their rods and customer service until now. Bought a B-Stock fly rod in August 17 but didnt get out for salmon season. Fished for two hours in September 18 with this rod and the second section (four piece rod) snapped on the second fish. Out of warranty by a couple of weeks but two hours of fishing. Stopped by the store, reps looked for a replacement but there were none, so stopped by several more times. One was there today, but they want another $180 since the warranty is 1 year. Lost this customer for good on that one. I have three A stock rods and many C stock rods. Stay away from their B-stock. As the rep said, the rod probably got dinged at some point (it was a B stock) and thats why it failed (no kidding.) Should have replaced the rod guys, youre out of my pocket now.

Stopped in today as a rookie fisherman looking for adequate equipment. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable with explaining the type of equipment and efficiencies of each rod and reel. Very compassionate to the hobby and willingness to go out of his way to continue to expand his love for this sport. Great store with a vast array of varied prices to meet all needs! We will be back!

You can watch them make a fishing pole thru a viewing window to the factory. They sell poles with minor flaws sold at a discount of $50 to $75. They have plenty of fishing supplies. Anything you might need to catch a fish is here..some pricey & somethings not so pricey.
Excellent rods for everything! Check out the seconds barrel for deals. Nice selection of baits too. Wall of musky baits! There are clothing options in one corner, hats, beanies, t-shirts, and long sleeve. Bring in your broken rod and get it fixed! They will charge for older models. Take a tour of the factory, its interesting to see. Live bait in the back. It’s got a taste of all fishing.

The best rods on Earth! SERIOUSLY! The staff here are excellent! I went in to buy a fly rod and they not only helped me pick out the right one, but helped me get it set up as well. In a world where now everything is bought online and you have to watch a stupid video on how to set it up, it was nice to actually be able to go inside a store and get advice from the knowledgeable staff! St Croix rods are the best rods period, and the guys in the shop are absolutely fantastic! I never drive through town without stopping in. I will never own anything but St Croix rods!
Nice rod shop and good tours. Be sure you have closed toe shoes for the tour - its pretty long. My 3yr old made it but it was dicey near the end - she got a bit bored. Very cool to see all the folks who are making your rods.

The customer service here was outstanding. The two men working both seemed to enjoy their job and helped us find new rods and replaced our old broken rod with no hassle at all. We were not expecting them to give us a credit for the broken rod but were so happy they did! Honestly a great place.
Traveled to Park Falls this week to take advantage of a B-stock pole sale. Found just what I was looking for and picked up a spinning reel too. They loaded it with line for me. The staff is helpful and friendly. I also located their bargin bin at the back of the store and picked up a rod there as well at a very good price. Was glad I made the trip. I plan to go back soon and I may need to do the tour of their factory then. Check for their sales as that can shave a bit extra off your bill or you can do what I did and pick up a bargin bin rod with the $ you save!

I have a few St. Croix rods and I really like them. I recently had a fly rod break on me and I sent it in to warranty. I got a replacement back exactly 1 week later. That is excellent turnaround especially when it is the beginning of the steelhead run and I wanted it back asap. Thank you St. Croix!
Great place to stop if your in Phillips Wisconsin. They have some lesser priced poles and reels. Also have fishing lures.
Went to get warranty on a rod, and found out it only had a 1 year warranty. Not what i had expected for the price paid.
First time there, a fisherman s heaven, rods for everything all very good. They even had soms seconds of course I bought one. You can see some of the factory from the store, what a wonderful experience.
