Dodge a bullet by NOT GETTING A CAR HERE!! I called and did an over the phone application. I was told I was approved but I was having problems getting a way up there. About 3 weeks later I received a letter in the mail saying that I got denied...What? I was Confused because they said I was approved and only had to bring in my down payment. Well I guess that saying everything happens for a reason cause I was able to get a Brand NEW CAR WITH A LOWER APR AND MONTHLY PAYMENTS 🙃!!! SO THANK YOU FOR TURNING ME DOWN FROM BUYING YOUR OVERPRICED, ALWAYS IN THE SHOP CARS!! DONT BUY HERE, WORK ON YOUR CREDIT AND GO TO A REAL DEALERSHIP!!!!

Ansley in the call center worked hard for my sale. She also was extremely patient with me and was there to answer any questions that I. When I got to the application process, it was smooth and was able to talk with Terrence about what my options were based on my approved amount. He was just as patient with me and my questions! They were super friendly and really wanted to get me into a nice car. But DMV was down and couldnt verify the insurance so I took it as a sign that maybe it wasnt the right choice for me. My credit is poor so the payments were pretty high but at least they were willing to take the risk.

I have the income and down payment but because I have two other cars, military, my co signer is out of state then I couldn’t get one. Don’t guarantee you can do something you can’t. This car was for my son who just got his permit who was with me. Sad that you all lie.

I purchased my car in June of 2019 and in the time I’ve had it I’ve had to get things fixed on it three separate occasions. Towing not available with auto connection and due to the impromptu situations it cost me almost 200 just to get it towed each time. When I have a problem it take a month just to get in therefore I have to go somewhere to get work done cost 6 and 7 dollars on end. My car is once again inoperable due to a bad water pump and thermostat which aren’t even covered. Even so what good is it having a warranty if I can never get my car in the shop to get worked on

My experience with The Auto Connection in Newport News on Jefferson was excellent! Jermaine was our salesman. He made sure this experience was not painful at all! And Keith, the manager, was extremely helpful and flexible and did everything he could to work with me and not against me. I would recommend this place to ANYONE who is looking to get a new used car! I have had to come back multiple times for simple issues that shouldn’t have been overlooked while being prepped to be sold. l have been back so much that l feel like I’m a part of the sales team. They did fix each issue as l called it in without any complaint so that’s a plus. Hopefully I won’t have to return again until it’s time for an oil change.My experience was great. Durrell was my sales agent and he did a dynamic job of getting me into a car that fits me. He wasn’t pushing me into just anything he to took his time and made sure I understood everything. Sale lemons only don’t think your getting a deal mechanics are stupid and half way do the job you will visit weekly with different issues it is sick how they are allowed to sale cars like that super poor customer service! I can honestly say I hate this location cars are dirty even when being advertised plus wait time is horrible. I love the lady with the low hair cut she is extremely professional but that other woman in there is so nasty.They will definitely approve you and rob you at the same time please let this be a last option when car buying.

So... I went to auto connection because I heard the ad on 103 Jamz that you can put $1 down. They only had 2 sales people that I saw that Friday but the wait wasn’t long at all. I was qualified for a $15k vehicle with only $300 down which was a portion of my dmv fees and sales tax which the remaining $450 was due in 21 days, then one half of my car payment would be due in another week. Which would have meant in 30 days, I would have paid a total of $1000. The vehicle I looked at was an SUV but it hadn’t been cleaned and smelled like dog. The mikes were kind of high (101,000) on a 2013 for $15500. The loan process was easy, but after thinking it over, I changed my mind and was easily refunded my deposit. If I were in desperate need of a car, I would have purchased. I suggest they clean/detail the vehicles better and come down a little on the price as they already have a high interest rate so you’re getting hit in he head twice because the resale value is low. All in all the people were courteous and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to break up a down payment or who’s credit is not so good.

This the worst company to buy a car from. Read your contracts people. Or you will be stuck like me. Paying for a car and still cant drive it safety. The had my car about three weeks and still havent fixed it. If you turned the car back in. They sell it at auction and if they dont get what they want. They come back and take 35% out if your pay check. I have learn my lesson. I will never buy another car from them. And make sure that No one I know will. I not mad I just dont want anyone to go though what Im going though with this company. I wished I had did more research on this company before I bought a car from them. Had a great experience when I purchased my car From the Newport News, Va. Location in 2010. I wish I could remember the salesman that assisted me because he was awesome!!! I do remember that he new about Boykins, Va and not to many people do unless you were born there, raised there or have family who were raised there. Everyone had great customer service skills, including the mechanics........ For me that was awesome!!

I have been dealing with Auto Connection since 2012. I purchased my first car from them. The salesman name was Jermaine and it was the Newport News location. It was a great sales experience. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions. The car I purchased gave me a few issues; some that auto connection fixed and some that I had to fix on my own. When I needed something fixed I was able to take it back and have their mechanics fix it and even once my warranty was up I was able to have my fuel pump fixed and they worked out a payment plan for me to pay off the repair; one thing for sure you cant go anywhere else and have that happen. The Saturn lasted me 4 years and unfortunately right at the end of paying it off the engine failed. Auto Connection put me in another car with a $1.00 down deposit; better than the first time I came and also gave me a few perks with my new interest rate and payment for deciding to purchase with them again. The new salesman I had was Uriel and he was absolutely great. He was so patient and knowledgeable. My mother was with me and of course she has more car buying experience than I and she asked plenty of questions but Uriel was patient with her as well and seemed to be quite sincere in his answers and making good recommendations for me as what type of car I should get based on what I had told him I was looking for. The entire staff was professional and though the wait time to complete my paperwork was a little lengthy; the manager as well as Uriel kept checking in with me to ensure that I was ok and let me know that things were taking a little longer than normal due to it being a little extra busy that day. One thing I would like to add is that the car I chose was a 2005 Ford Taurus in excellent condition inside and out but the battery was having an issue staying charged. Uriel made the mechanics aware of the issue right away and they gave me a brand new battery and a brand new alternator just to ensure that all would be well as no cost to me of course. I appreciate that type of customer service. Once the time comes to purchase something else it may not be with Auto Connection just because I think I want my next car to be brand new but I will most certainly recommend Auto Connection to friends and family in the future.

I recently purchased a vehicle at Auto Connection. The staff was really professional and helpful and I was able to purchase a car that fit all my kids in it and the payments were very affordable. Also I only had to put down one dollar! I sent my neighbor to see them and when he bought his truck they gave me a check for 100 bucks. You cant beat that.
