If I could rate this location a negative ZERO I would. Unfortunately I went to this location today and when I got there I did not have my wallet. I asked the cashier if she could call Military Star Card customer service and retrieve my account information. She had no idea what I was talking about. Another employee walks over to help and seems to be irritated that he was disturbed from what ever he was doing. Another woman who works there watched me the entire time as if I was going to steal something. I have experienced this type of ignorance before at civilian retail spaces which is why a do most of my shopping online. But to experience it at a military retailer is disgusting. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. I was not asked if I needed help or anything just stared at the whole time. I guess I will have to start buying my uniform items online as well. Sad.

This small NEX has all that you would need Uniform wise a one stop shop. From any uniform for Navy and Marines. Not to forget same day, right upfront tailoring and uniform pressing available on the spot. Tailoring is available for military and civilians as well. This beats having to drive down to Norfolk just for uniform items. This is the closest NAVY uniform shop to Richmond, VA!

A hidden gem and a godsend for anyone associated with the DOD and working/living in the area since there aren’t many stores close by the Naval Weapons Station. They have gas, barber shop, Subway sandwiches, a decent selection of quick food items, uniform items, embroidery services, libations, toiletries, etc. the staff are always super friendly too!

Place is small but surprisingly has everything you need !!!

The is a good quick stop for essentials only available at an exchange without needing to go through gates. The subway that is attached is convenient as well. I only downgraded them star because the staff felt more inclined to talk to each other than pay attention to the customers.

People are nice. Has a decent selection of snacks and quick lunch items. Its nice and quiet which in my opinion was a plus. Overall nice place.

Great barbers. Great tailor. Store has a larger selection of uniforms and uniform items. NEX gas station is right next to the Yorktown gym and bowling alley.
