It never fails they dont want to honor the percentage off on their website! They use very tricky sale signs real example Sharpies 50 cents! ( fine print only the green ones! ) I only shop there if I have no other choice such as Sundays when Hobby lobby is closed!! I really dont like this store!

Bought a can of spray paint from here and it was defective..... But the.staff member char who cashed me out was extremely patient with me and I have a feeling that he should be higher up in a position than what hes at now and probably getting paid more most likely cuz that dudes probably got more patience than anybody in that store his name was char I think I dont know I got to go back and return the spray paint can so Ill find out later

Love Michaels went with my son to grab some supplies for his mini skate park. Prices are great and inventory is readily readily available.

Nicely situated between Target and Pet Smart. Place was dead on a Saturday at 6 pm. Hence just one cashier. Unfortunately she was slow and a talker which made my line wait longer than it needed to be. Paid $50 for sticks for a large vase. Ugh.

My girlfriend bought some jewelry making stuff. They were low on clay and didnt have individual in blades for her exacto knife. But she still managed to spend 50 dollars in there.

Found what I needed but the store refused to accept the 20% coupon I had. It was a current coupon and my items were not excluded. Jerk!

A decent craft store with, surprisingly, lots of crafting supplies. Has some non craft related stuff as well I.e. toys etc. Pricey for what you need but if you do crafts you know this already.

This is the Newport, Kentucky #michaels store. It is part of the Kroger/Target shopping plaza on Grand Avenue just off of the S l-471 exit. I have been here twice in the past two months but only briefly. Although Im into getting any #arts&crafts supplies I have observed that this is a busy store most of time. The two or more store associates Ive seen at the checkout area have all been friendly and helpful and when not needed at the checkout counter have been on another store task. With at least 2 #covid safe contact spots at the counter the line moves relatively fast. If you want gift cards, impulse items, a clearance section for fun browsing & #jarcandles this can also be found at the front of the store. I didnt wonder toward the back of the store but I observed all the aisles with their signs identifying all the stuff you need for fun home craft projects! The musician playing in front of the store can be heard half way across the pavilion. They refuse to kick them out for soliciting.

My first time in this particular Michaels. What a shock! Place looked like they were going out of business. Empty shelves everywhere! Other people coming in even commented! I went in the middle of the day. Saw only 2, yes 2 employees! Needless to say I could not get any assistance as the 2 employees were ringing people out. First and last time I go there. My guess, their days are numbered.

Lots of Halloween stuff, and their selection is extensive. They are hiring, and their need shows. Long line with only 2 registers open (only reason for 4 stars). Both cashiers were very nice, and our experience was good. But 2 of 5 (maybe more?) registers open was not good.

10 minutes in this Michaels and all your problems disappear. Probably a leftover emotion from my childhood, but I could stay here forever. As for things that one could say matter more, the service is great and the store is easy to navigate. Masks are required (and sold) and social distancing procedures are in place. Personally, I am a fan of people being legally required to stay away from me, so I think that added to the great experience.

A classic resource for family fun. The ideas created here are endless. My one critique is that finding a staffer to assist you can be as challenging as finding a needle in a haystack.

They have everything you can think of. Customer service was very helpful and curteous.

They didnt have things I wanted, chalk paint, adhesive transfers mesh, and alot of things were not marked, prices!! Not going there again.

Love this store but they where completely wiped of the acrylic paints I wanted. More covid craziness, however it was a disappointment when the item was not available.

I like Michaels but it seems like everytime I go in there I have a worker that is not very helpful. I bought a picture frame and as I was trying to search for a coupon (I never get to use said coupon anyway so I dont know why I bother) she was ringing me out and I didnt notice until I got in the car the lady did not wrap my picture frame so it busted in the bag with another item I had that was twice the size. Not a huge deal, just annoying having to go right back in to exchange. Just overall not very kind or helpful staff members in my experiences.

No halloween decorations on 10/10/2020 a week later all of the fall stuff was on sale and they had Christmas full load. HALLOWEEN ISNT EVEN OVER YET

The online order I purchased had one of the frames scratched up, and the workers were somewhat helpful in letting me replace it with a better one! She had me find it in the store myself which took awhile, but didnt make a fuss about me wanting to exchange

I havent been to Michael macs since A.C. Moore opened nearby. I like A.C. Moore but they are closing... aisles are tight. I like the atmosphere at A.C. better. And they treat me well everytime I enter! The rewards are favorable over Michaels too! So I wasnt please to find no associates assisting customers on the floor then a LONG line to checkout. I spend $100 plus every visit... I will probably make the drive to Hobby Lobby from here on out!

Michael in Newport, KY always has a large selection of craft supplies and decor. I always find what I need at an affordable price. They often have good sales and always have online coupons. Be prepared to wait in line between 5-15 minutes. They often appear short-staffed and there is always a long wait to checkout. In my experience staff has consistently been helpful and friendly. I love having this craft store nearby!

Place was absolutely packed. Looking at products on line that I needed, website said it was in stock but when me and my wife got there they were out. They had a few of the other items but not worth the wait in line to purchase them. Went elsewhere.

This store is nice and I can usually find what I need, but the checkout process can take foreeever. The cashiers are always super friendly, but it just isnt a very efficient system. Ive started to do more online pickups here, because you avoid the line altogether.

This store is so convenient to downtown Cincinnati, it has been a lifesaver for some of my last minute projects for events and outings. I get many of my floral arrangement supplies here and am happy it is so close! Theyve got a large store with quite a bit of merchandise, too.

Really good acrylic paint pens available, around 16 bucks. Their metallic, fine-point counterparts break easily.

Great place to go for seasonal and home decor. Every craft supply you could need but there is not a fabric section. I reccomend downloading the app to use the discounts and visiting when they have sales.
