Excellent service - Pete is by far the best I’ve ever worked with. I’ve been taking my clients luxury vehicles in for service for 20 years and in various major cities. Pete is the BEST, hands down.

My air conditioner died in my 10-year-old Acura. The dealership wanted $2,300 to replace the compressor and they were going to warrant it for one year. I took it to John Nolan Auto service and in 5 hours they had me back on the road with a new compressor and saved me almost $1,000 over the cost the dealer wanted. They were friendly, fast and I got a 3-year, 36,000 mi warranty on the air conditioning. I recommend them.

I have never left a review for a business before in my life, but feel a need to for this. I had a terrible gas leak in my car. My car is older and thus harder to work on. The team at John Nolan Auto was honest with me throughout the whole process and did a fantastic job with the repair, which other auto shops may have simply given up on. I am 100% satisfied and the price was extremely fair. They did not try to sell me or pressure me on additional repairs my car needs, as other auto shops typically do. You can tell this is a family business and they take pride in their work. The owner even offered to give me a ride home when I first brought my car in--you just dont see that type of wholesome, old fashioned service anymore. Highly recommend A++. New to the area and they have just earned themselves a new customer for the duration of my time living here.

I was visiting Newport from Indianapolis for the day and on my way there, I noticed a light come on. I wasn’t quite sure what it was, but I thought it was the alternator. I looked up a shop in Newport, Kentucky and called to see if they could look at my car today and get it fixed today too. The first one I called said they couldn’t do it in the same day, but could look at it tomorrow. That wasn’t going to work since I was only visiting for the day. I called the next shop which was John Nolan Auto Service. The lady who answered was very sweet and said that they would do their best to get it in the shop and fixed so I could get going that evening. 8 minutes away from the shop, the alternator finally went out and the car died on the side of the highway. Got a tow service through my insurance that was going to take 2 hours. Told me to leave the key on the wheel and they would grab it. I got a Uber to take us to the shop and tell them what was up and when to expect the car and then headed over to the aquarium. Long story short, my car got “transferred” to multiple different tow companies. The last one was very quick and dropped it off earlier than expected. Robert from John Nolan called and said they dropped it off but no key. I called them and they didn’t grab the key and it was probably on the side of the highway or actually on the highway. The tow company, though they knew of the key, didn’t grab it and wouldn’t go back to get it. I called Robert back and told him I was going to have to Uber back out to that spot to find the key. He insisted that he come and pick me up from the aquarium and take me and my girlfriend back out there himself. That was such a blessing. He came and picked us up and went out there. Robert was super friendly and my girlfriend said it was like we were friends that have known each other for years. He told us all about the history of Newport and Cincinnati and so many other fun facts. I will definitely be returning to do some more exploring because of him. We got out to the spot on the highway and I found the key! We returned to the shop right after and they had the car fixed in no time! We were back on the road very quickly! He continued to keep us engaged in conversation during the whole thing and showed us his shop and warehouse. It was a lot cooler than it sounds, but you’ll have to go and ask him yourself. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend John Nolan Auto Service. I wish I lived closer to that shop so they could always take care of my car! We brought our vehicle in for an oil pan replacement. These guys were great from the first phone call to the pick up! They were helpful & knowledgeable, professional but down to earth at the same time. Where most garages told us itll be a 3-5 day job (for a 3hr job) they told us itd be one day - roughly 24hrs and it ended up being finished less than 5hrs from the time I dropped it off!!! The prices were average compared to others I called, but the warranty was the best of all that I called! We have no complaints & we will come back here if we need to service our vehicle again. Thanks fellas!!!

I highly recommend this service center. The universal concerns of car owners trying out a new auto service center rests on honesty and integrity, along with reasonable prices, and with Nolans I can say without reservation that you can put all those concerns to rest. What a great place, and Dave-the Manager-sets the standard for what an automotive repair service should offer in customer care.

These guys are awesome, they got me in same day when my car needed immediate attention. Their service is all around great, I highly recommend John Nolan Auto Services.

They quoted me $1400 to get my rear leaf shackles replaced. So overpriced! Took it somewhere else and they will do it for $300.

Saved A lot of money bc of their honesty. Did not tell me I NEEDED parts that I did not need or my car would break down omw home and they arent liable, like other full service mechanics. Front desk was awesome. Mstr Mech was great. I made Sat 10 am appt, I was late, and still got out of there by 1130am. Much better than the local quick lubes they never count the # of cars in front of you that are also waiting on the 20 min oil chng.
