All employees (in pharmacy and checkout) were polite and helpful. I give particularly high marks to Kimberley who greeted me as she passed by me in the aisle and was super friendly when I checked out in her lane. A fantastic employee!

Total out of control self check out lanes. People cutting lines, cashier not paying any attention, bagging items for other self check out customers. Total chaos. I’m out! This location is off my list.

Its easy to find what you need. The store is clean. It has a good selection of clothing and household items.

Came in on Saturday, August 28th and checked out by a very nice lady, Kathy. In a labor shortage, Target should be thankful for this kind of service from their staff.

I ordered a microwave oven online from Target.com and used the pick-up at the store option. This works great. I got the product I wanted and a four-day window for picking it (and this can be extended, if needed). I could have had someone bring it to my car, but I had a return, so went inside to pick it up. The pick-up, return and getting product to the car took less than 10 minutes. Way to go Newport Target.

Poor customer service.Purchased an inexpensive cellphone for my elderly mother. The button on phone did not work. So I took phone to exchange or return get my refund. Charged me a restocking fee to get money back or worker told me I could drive to Cincinnati store to exchange.Wow..worst store ever.

Better than most Target locations. Contains CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks and Pizza Hut along with groceries, toys, clothes, electronics, home furnishings and more.

Never impressed with Target and 2 stars is a stretch! Prices are too high, never can find an employee, two registers tops every time I have been there!! And they racially profile customers _ thats my experience whether its yours or not dont change a thing..and I wont elaborate or debate or give an inch in that area..And its THAT VERY THING which is ultimately why I will never return..too many other options to shop with wayyyyyy more pros!!

The consistency of service and accessibility to products. Even if the store doesnt have what you need, Targets website readily tells you the closest store with availability or delivery options.

I recently moved to the downtown Cincinnati area and came to this Target location because it is closest to where I live. I enjoyed my shopping experience until I reached the self check out and was stared at until I completed scanning all my items. The gentleman running the self check out asked me several times had I rung up certain items already and I politely stated to him “ I’m not finished yet. “ there were several other guests at the self check out who did not receive quite the same amount of attention as I did.I will not be returning to this location.

Store was a mess, but they handled black Friday well. Many sales, but not as good as Walmart for the same items. Lots of foot traffic.

Incorrect signage and priceWill not return to Target, wrong sale signage not honored, no compromiseno customer service only an inference that it was my fault .merchandise was placed by the wrong signage (stacks)The difference was the sale item was a v neck and the shirt was a round neck. brand etc matched .A $5 price difference total would have saved a customer .

In the electronics department - where I was shopping - I was puzzling over my purchase. Johnny proved extremely helpful in making a decision on which purchase I should make. Target provided a wide range of choices, and it too some analyzing to reach the decision appropriate for me.

I visit Target in Newport Ky at least twice a week. Everyone is nice and the store is always clean but today I had Maggie as a cashier and she was great. Maggie explained the target wallet benefits and actually told me organic bananas are less expensive then non organic. It’s the little things with me and I really appreciated her. She was such a pleasure to talk with. Her customer service was amazing.

The service is free & considering shopping is no longer a leisurely task, I like that I can get my favorites without having to set foot inside. It’s awesome when I have my dog too so she’s not excluded in our adventures, especially on hot days. Comparing it side by side with other pickup services in our area, it’s the best so far. Nothing in the order was missing, the timing is super flexible, I clicked “on my way” in the app & the timing was impressive! Best of all, during these difficult times, I’ve had to use pickup & curbside more than ever & hate that it can get terribly expensive & Target is free! Can’t say what it was before Covid, but right now I’m utilizing it, especially when some stores didn’t allow entire families thus making it darn near impossible for me to shop with little children! Target may not be regarded as a top notch grocery source, but for now it beats the lack of groceries at others.

Fred in electronics was so helpful is helping me find a video game, even though I insisted that it did not exist! It was Minecraft! My son had been telling me about and he lies all of the time, the most recent lie being that a dog had puppies under our porch, so I thought the idea of a video game being called Minecraft was absurd, however, Fred insisted that it was real, and even helped me find it! I didn’t buy it, because my son is being punished for the dog incident, but it’s nice to see an employee being so helpful. His curly hair was nice as well.

I often shop the Newport Ky store. It is close to downtown Cincinnati. The store is always clean and organized. And they have a good selection of sizes.

Customer service was amazing

I will never go here again I was going to buy and item for my kids and later found out this item was in the wrong spot and asked for an manger and Mark & Ryan was the 2 mangers that responded and said that they sill not be able to help. While talking with them a lady passed by and picked up a lawn chair to find out is was 50$ but marked 12$ this store is not organized what so ever I don’t recommend shopping here.

This Target is so nice. Employees are everywhere and always friendly, they are quick to put thing on clearance, and it is so CLEAN!! Even when the line looks long, the wait isnt and theyll have you out within ten minutes at the most, especially if you prefer self-checkout.

Shopped today left empty handed. Did not have specific Mrs. Meyers soap I was looking for and price on drills too expensive.Biggest complaint, othercustomers. Mom and two kids shopping. Boy had mask around neck. Mom and girl none. Seemed to be wandering aimlessly. Thought one person per family,.. KY requirements. Guy passes me at the door, no six foot distance. No mask. Cant someone monitor door? Where is consideration for others?

I needed printers ink. Gentleman at cashier at electronics was so helpful and friendly. The only thing that happened I love the popcorn at snack bar. Sign on break...back in 30 minutes. You dont have anyone to cover??? Could not wait.

Bad customer service experience

Its a nice big Target with good selection. Its clean but selection can be disheveled sometimes. Employees are nice but not always super helpful. Check out lines can get long but they did recently install self check out which is nice.

We asked someone to help us find a specific cooler in a specific print. We looked in the general areas before searching the system, it was showing there was one left in that print but it could have been in someone’s cart. He went out of his way to open up all the boxes on the cart he was unloading and found the exact one we were looking for. Incredible service experience!

Very good customer service all around. I order on line so it was ready to pick up within 2 hours like they said and the guy that waited on me when i picked my item up was very nice and helpful.

I have had nothing but trouble with target. Bought a t.v. it was cracked coming out of the box. They wont refund it due to not wanting to risk getting the virus brought in. Its been 3 weeks and again extended when you can return. To this day I have not heard where a t.v. has caught the virus. They receive shipments in daily. And, will sell you anything they have. Not worrying about all the people that handled their merchandise. Then sell it to you. If they are so worried about spreading the virus by taking returns. Then why are they not worried about risking our lives by staying open and selling merchandise that maybe hundreds have touched then sell it to you., I will never buy from target against, go into one of their stores and buy anything

Prices, selection, and friendly staff

Good quality, decent prices, good selection, easy returns.

They have somewhat reasonable prices, but dont expect to find any young mens clothing for you preteen boy. They had nothing other than sweatpants and running clothes. There was a larger section for the girls. So disappointed

My product was ready for pickup within an hour of purchase. I was able to add my mother as the alternate pickup person. Check out was fast and easy. Updates were sent via email and text. I have yet to be disappointed by Targets online ordering / ship to store.

Majority of the staff are help and friendly but i just LOVE the girls in the CVS. But Target in Newport is a very good store for getting the things I need!

The product location the y had listed in the app vs. the products ACTUAL location was deceptive. THis wasted a good chunk of my time. It almost nullified the savings in buying form this store.

I stood in line at the customer service desk for twenty minutes to pick up my item. I also had to purchase deodorant. The employee instructed me that I needed to go over to the regular lines and get in line after already waiting twenty minutes for my online purchase at the customer service desk. This completely negates the point of saving time and ordering online. To have to wait in two lines was not acceptable.

This location always has everything I need and I like that its so clea close to other stores and restaurants.

Great selection in store or online. You can check online prices for a better price order it and take it with you from the store. Easy as showing your selection on your phone at checkout.

Target has what I need. Sometimes the pricing is good other times not so much but it all balances out as to why I shop there frequently. I usually buy what my items there if I have a cartwheel, coupon and a rebate.

I forgot my card and Kandace took the time to help me with the target app so I could use my phone for purchase, which was a BIG help - kudos to her!!

This place is always a mad house. Understaffed and unorganized. Tried to find guy’s sunglasses, which should be easy enough. Could not find them anywhere.We also where looking at various other things that where in the wrong places with the wrong prices. Lines where insane. Left with nothing.

My orders are always ready and I am in and out quick. Today what I purchased was from an email on a sale that was sent to me saving me extra money! love it!

I like the convenience of this Target to my downtown office. Their grocery department is lagging behind the rest- I’ve bought expired (by weeks) dairy and food more than once the few times I’ve been there in the past few months. I generally don’t check expirations but will start!

Called 3 times, all of which I had to go through a 3 minute message each time and eventually got hung up on. Terrible service.

Target has been great for my family. We can get pretty much anything we need.

Every time I come in here, the first thing I hear is the employees arguing with eachother. Complaining, cussing. I know things about the management that I shouldn’t know! While I understand everyone has things they don’t like their job, I don’t want to go into a store where everyone is shouting all the time.

This store is average. They seem to be out of stock quite frequently. Service is usually good and the store is clean, but I find that almost every trip i make at least one item is out of stock.

Came in for a specific hair product that they advertise to carry... they only carry two items from the hair product and neither one is what I needed. So I proceed to get other items I needed for my lunch and checked out pretty quickly, cashier was like a robot no smile no happy holidays back when I said it to her. Then I proceeded to the snack counter to get some popcorn and an icee, stood at the counter for a good ten minutes then asked if the snack counter was closed and was told they didn’t know... stood here another 5 minutes then out the blue two employees one right after the other said the employees that work the snack counter are on break. Very bad customer service to have an snack counter with no coverage and employees that let me stand here for over 15 minutes instead of finding out if the counter was closed. I rarely shop target but when I do I expect great customer service because that is what target is known for... I felt like I was shopping at Walmart today.

As clean and well maintained as any Target. The selection in the mens clothing is not very big. They only have a handful of decent button ups at a time. The only time I went into the electronics department I asked for a HDMI cable and the person didnt know what I was talking about.
