I feel like we stumbled on a hidden gem. They have two locations. This one is a drive thru/walk-up with magnificent food, coffee, and beverages.The Hearty Breakfast Burrito was delicious stuffed full of potatos, egg, bacon, sausage, and red peppers with fresh made salsa.The Ultra Cinnamon Roll was so good, soft and moist, and the perfect amount of sweetness.The parfait was large filled with yogurt, fresh fruit, and granola.The smoothies were so good though more of a frappucino style, not all fruit.Their dirty chai with oat milk was frothy and perfectly spiced.This will be a go to spot for us when we are in Newport.
Stopped by on the way to the beach and ordered their pink and purple smoothies. fresh and delicious. was a bit of a wait time and the place was busy. but well worth the wait. they had some cocktails as well. on the list when we are back there
What a wonderful place to stop for a bite and a cafe pick-me-up! This is such a gem in this area for someone who tries to be mindful of quality, organic foods. My cappuccino was exactly how I like it! My partner and I had an expansive, heart-centered conversation with the owner and it felt amazing to support her and her husband’s business through this tough time. Highly recommend!
Told my husband I only wanted my frappe and a bite of his Hearty Burrito, but you know how these things go. That burrito was delicious and I ate a good half of it. It was big enough for the two of us to share, though I still feel a little guilty for mooching so much from him. The frappe was great too.
Was told this was the best place for a drive through coffee....it really wasnt. My boyfriend told the lady what he wanted. He didnt get what he wanted but at least it was coffee, right? Nope. He dumped it out as we drove off.We were in a hurry so we didnt complain.Were not going back

We wanted something quick for our trip home. I ordered the healthy breakfast burrito and my husband had the bacon breakfast sandwich. Both were tasty. I also ordered a caramel macchiato with oat milk and it was delicious 😋
Ordered their healthy burrito that comes at a whopping cost of $10. They boast broccoli, red peppers, egg whites, cheese as the ingredients on the board. What I got was a MEASLEY little scrawny burrito that upon inspection has a merest hints of broccoli and red pepper and to my surprise, STALE FRENCH FRIES as the main ingredient in the burrito. So much for healthy! The coffee is quite good but that bogus burrito earns this establishment 1 star from me. I loath being lied to. Ultralife management / owners need to get a life and put some quality into their food instead of trying to rip folks off. I will not be back, that is for sure.
Love this place! The mango matcha smoothie is outstanding. The ancient grains wrap and breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Can’t go wrong stopping in, lots of choices! Bring all my visitors here, they agree… good stuff!!!
Not only is this a convenient place to grab coffee when I’m in Newport, but I’m in love with their Burritos!! They are so yummy and big enough for a couple meals. Thank you for offering some new options! Good job!
While the customer service was exceptional and menu was extensive, the coffee did not love up to what Id hoped or expected. My wife and I ordered two different coffee drinks and found both to be on the darker roasted side and undrinkable, literally undrinkable. (I rarely throw away coffee but in this case I did.)
This was our second stop after discovering the previous coffee joint didnt have any food. Pulling up, it didnt look like the little stand would have much in the way of breakfast choices either, but they actually managed to pack a ton of options into a pint sized station. I got the smoked tuna bagel and a large dark roast coffee, both of which were great. Staff were friendly and we got little treats with our drinks! 💕
Love the set up as a walk up or drive thru, the PNW fog latte was amazing and the breakfast burrito was incredible! Will definitely be stopping again on our way out of town tomorrow. Highly recommend!!
Stopped here looking for a good chai latte and they delivered! I got an iced dirty chai and my girlfriend had a regular chai latte. We both really enjoyed them. She got some sort of breakfast burrito and liked it as well, though she said she wished the salsa had come in the burrito instead of on the side. I got a breakfast sandwich and thought it was fine, but was a bit bummed about the size of it for the price. No worries though! The drinks were the highlight for sure. You can drive through but we walked up and sat at one of the benches while we ate our food. Would recommend getting something to drink here for sure!
Unimpressed with how defensive, utterly dismissive and patronizing the owner was to my friends very honest review. The burrito I got wasnt very good either but I was going to let it go until I read their response to my buddys review.Not only does he neglect to include the photo he said hed include, which Im sure he would have taken artistic liberties with, given the nature of his response, but he attempts to act as if the full refund was done on purpose. It was an accident made by two employees who couldnt figure out how to refund a single ticket item. Regardless, we did thank the employees for the refund. We hope they got to keep the tip as it was certainly not their fault.A refund doesnt make up for the misrepresentation of the food product. Fresh roasted potatoes? Haha. They were stale fries, just as my buddy said. Perhaps those stale fries were baked, not fried? Regardless THEY WERE STALE. And there was only a whisper of broccoli and red peppers. My buddy tells no lies here or anywhere else frankly.The self described new owner has a lot to learn about how to respond to negative feedback. Wed been thinking about giving the place another shot as the coffee was pretty good, but after his super defensive review...he just lost not only us two, but rest assured that we will be sharing our experiences far and wide with our families and social groups. Hopefully this fella learns a lesson or two on how to interact with customers, especially the ones who are not singing his praises.Good luck Ultralife, we definitely wont be back.
This is my absolute favorite spot to eat and hang out. Cocktails from scratch and food that leaves no doubt. This is our little piece of heaven on the Central Oregon Coast.

This location is fantastic to grab a tasty coffee and a gluten free snack. They have more than a few options for gf and df eaters and theyre so tasty. We love the df gf raspberry filled chocolate cupcakes and their gf waffle sandwich. They have physically distanced indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to check out the Nye Beach Market and they sweet swag in the back. They have unique and local gifts!
Good Italian bagel breakfast sandwich though a bit salty. Disappointing to be served in big plastic takeout containers with covers when eating on-site. When I asked about it, they said they have regular plates, but you have to request when placing your order. When I asked for water, they started to provide in plastic cups, when I had just said I hated to be using so much plastic when dining in. You could see the glasses made of glass on the counter, so when I said Id prefer those, they switched. This Cafe advertises healthy options and attracts health conscious customers. Many will also be concerned with the environment and health of the planet. Why cant the cashier who takes your breakfast order ask if you are eating on site or wanting take out? If that is too much trouble, put the option on the chalk board menu and laminated menu, Dining in? Prefer not to eat out of non-recyclable plastic take-out containers? Glass plates and cups available on request.

Cinnamon rolls taste like burnt dirt. Also cost me 10 bucks for 2 dinky little rolls. Not worth my time or money. Highly overrated.
I stopped by in the afternoon. They did not have a drink menu they were out of basic ingredients so I just got a coffee with creamer no sugar and they made it so wrong. The sandwich was throw together and had the outer peel of onion in the sandwich. I wont be coming back.

I come here often for the smoothies and they’re usually really good although I get the açaí protein shake almost every time and the last couple of times they’ve been adding so much protein powder I’m chewing the fkn smoothie and just now I asked for half the powder and heard the girl tell the girl making it to put in half the powder but I’m chewing my smoothie more than normal and it’s not even good.

Ill rave about the coffee all day! If you are in a hurry or running late dont pull in. Staffing is constantly training and or turning over. This does not affect the quality of the dri nk but does put a damper on the wait. Ill keep going back for sure!

Went to the CUTE little storefront at Nye Beach. Loved the aesthetic of the shop. I ordered an iced white mocha made with oat milk, and it was THEE best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. I never wanted it to end.

This cafe was able to make my smoothie the exact way I needed. They are very customer friendly and will make yours to order, if you have allergies, dairy issues, they have all the options to substitute! Huge eating menu too! Definitely not your average coffee shop, a step above!
Their coffee is amazing and so are their healthy and delicious array of menu items! I can’t wait for the holiday season and their delicious candy cane specialty drink! I also love that they give back to the community in so many way. This is a wonderful family owned business.
Most of their food is great but the service is terrible. Long waits, turkey bagel sandwich had deli paper still inside the turkey and cold brew nitro float was made with coffee not cold brew, then they offer you free stale baked goods for the long wait.
This place makes some of the best coffee and their Gluten Free breakfast sandwiches are awesome. The people are always friendly and they genuinely appreciate their customers. Highly recommend them for your caffeine fix!
Always amazing service. This is that amazing hole in the wall experience that makes for legends. They make great coffee and the food is divine. So much variety and everything is excellent. Breakfast burritos are massive made on a panini grill so good. Best bagel sandwich Ive had anywhere.

Such an incredible variety of coffee and milks, we dont do dairy so this was heaven for us. Service was exceptional and we just love the concept. Always want to visit local business and so happy we decided on Ultralife.

I made my first trip to Ultralife Cafe yesterday, and met Matt and Stephanie. I asked about muffins, and Stephanie promised to make me some scones and blueberry muffins for today. Well, my only problem is trying to decide which was better. I bought two of each, so Ill see if I can decide tomorrow.Excellent service and a wonderful friendly attitude. Cant ask for more. I got a sample of the nitro coffee, too, and it was very good.

Great burritos, perfect for picking up on my lunch hour. Also some great drink options for us non-coffee drinkers! The service is always super friendly, and I have found it to always be faster than Starbucks or Dutch Bros in the middle of the day. Shop local!

Really enjoyed this place. Coffee was wonderful the breakfast sandwiches were huge and really good. Expect to wait while they make it, but you can order in advance as an option. Definite stop when we come through in the future.

Delicious breakfast burritos (try the bacon with hash browns). Also terrific chocolate bar flavored iced coffees. Additionally Redbull smoothies are a thing here.The biggest reason for 5 stars is the awesome family staff who will partake in delightful conversation while they prepare your order. However, there is a wait. But if its only a few cars, its well worth it.
By far the most diverse menu for a coffee shop around here. They always try new things and the people are friendly and helpful. The bagels are also delish.

I stumbled onto this place the other day and went back a second time to try their food. Wow yummy fantastic! I had the biscuits and gravy. One delicious biscuit and a generous amount of gravy. The gravy is nicely savory and the biscuit was fluffy, what more can you ask for? I also had their matcha green tea latte - they offer honey to sweeten it but I enjoyed it greatly unsweetened, which is how I prefer it. so yes I would recommend this place for friendly fast service and great prices! $8 for my meal was quite reasonable.
My daughter and I have been Vegan for a year and visit the Lincoln City/Newport area of the Oregon Coast quite frequently. We went here for the first time this past weekend and it ROCKED!!! Their PNW bagel with pesto cream cheese and smoked tempeh was out of this world! So happy to support a local business and one that understands different dietary needs. Owners were so delightful to talk to and the walk up window is cozy and inviting. Please stop here if you are ever on the Central Oregon Coast and need AMAZING vegan grub! This the best coffee shop for healthy lifestyle. The quality of the food is the best Ive ever seen in a coffee stop. The drawbacks wait time and food prep. varys. Organic espresso, that tastes good without 1 pound of sugar, like DB.

Ive always had great experiances when ordering anyof the food items here, really like the breakfast burritos. We are also able to purchase our coffee beans from this place. Everyone is super friendly and gives off a great atmosphere. Mainly drive through but they do offer some outdoor seating. Great little locally owned coffee shop!

Best coffee in Lincoln County! Best customer service ! The owners and their staff are fantastic and their food caters so well to the health conscious, the hungry, and those who like it lean. They paved the way with nitro and delicious kombucha in the area and continue to be the front runner bar none!!

GREAT traditional espresso which takes a little longer than these machine prepared shops in town and ABSOLUTELY worth the few moments extra wait for a great latte, mocha, americano, chai latte. I mean the list goes on. Their food is pretty good for a small drive up cafe. Also Ive heard theres gonna be a second sit down location added to Nye Beach! Go Ultra Life! Love you guys!

I’ve been vegan for a year now and randomly found this place while visiting Lincoln City/Newport. I visit quite often and normally just make it work at places that don’t have specific meals that fit my dietary needs but I was so delighted to find that Ultralife had many options for me. They had non dairy cream cheese, and tempeh as a protein! They also had 4-5 milk alternatives for coffee, and baked goods that were vegan as well. The owner was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome! They also cater to keto, and paleo, etc. I think it’s wonderful to have a place that has so many options for different types of diets and great prices. I will definitely be returning every time I visit Newport.
